When they said “brief lessons” they weren’t exaggerating with “brief” at all. It was okay… you can definitely read it in an hour.
Along with the actual lessons there were also little activities for you to do in relation to the lesson. I did none of them. I also barely read them. But from what I did read, they were just ways to get out of a creative block so I may revisit if I really need something to get me out of a creative rut.
There were a handful of one liners that got me, but nothing was that hard hitting for me to take it to heart. I think the brevity of it all didn’t give me a chance to really indulge in the lessons.
This was a quick read and was useful to learn a little more about the creative process of different artists and get introduced to some artists I had heard of. Wish it went deeper into some of the ideas or provided more suggestions to try for your creative process.
