This is an interesting start to this series. female lead needs to have twins from two different men. B gives up her love with abe to be with finn to have both their sons. Parents of kai and kendrix who the upcoming series is based on. 3 goddesses adv prophecy that effects all three of them. very short, but good to have a background to start the series. Gifted audio in exchange for this honest review.
I enjoyed the first book but imo this one surpassed the first one.it was well written and really helped me understand some of the charators better.i did cry some.if you like paranormal ramance then i recommend this boo
Sometimes less is more & vice versa. A good short read that shows promise for a new world to love. Being my first Vanessa Ross book I was excited to see where she would take us. The whole idea intrigued me & I am enjoying this world she has created so far. In all honesty I typically love back story & details, so a novella may not be the best way for me to start a series. I feel like there is so much more I need to know & understand about these characters. For that I know I need to continue reading this series to get a better feel for it. There were a few scenes that definitely aren’t for younger readers. I personally would have preferred those words been spent elsewhere in this tale, but I understand how tricky finding that balance is as everyone’s taste is so diverse. I do hope to learn more of these warriors, their goddesses, & the journey their pathes have led them down. Action, suspense, mythology, magic, & more.
This is my first Vanessa read and it was a great place to start. Although it's not a long read there was a great building of characters. Even though it's short it definitely hit it's mark and portrayed the characters as star crossed lovers.
There was only a couple of things that prevented it from being a 5 star read for me and that was the pace of the book and some phrasing. I understand it's under 60 pages but the ending seemed too rushed for my taste. There was time spent on the characters past and the prophecy involving them but their present just seemed rushed to a conclusion.
The other thing was phrasing, although minor just stuck with me. For being set in the 1800s it just stuck with me it was weird she used the phrase "what a dick move".
That being said even with those couple of minor things, Creating Warriors is definitely worth a read
Aaahhh this story broke me... Totally... I cried... And I never cry😳 Beatrice and Abe met when they were young ,but their love doesn't stood under a good star. Abe goes to war and Bea follows him. But they never really meet again until it's to late for them. They both get to be supernaturals that will help to save humanity, but it comes with a hefty price. I really loved this story and made me yearn for the next one. A beautiful, bittersweet, sad and loveable story about love, honor, destiny and the fight for a better future. If you love PNR, witches, prophecies, druids and supernaturals and like love triangles this is a must read👍
I realy was flored this book ripped at the heart by pulling the Reader into a Story of pain heartach and love.
In this book you live in the Story of love and hurt and true sacrefice. Three People have to overcome so many hartachs and so much pain you cant help but Need a box of tissues.
This was my first book by this auther and it was truely worth every second. It took me some time to get used to the Narrator but i can honestly say i will defnatly be Looking out for more books written by Vanessa.
i resived this audiobook for free without any oblegations for Ratings or Reviews.
This was an unusual story. It has a lot of troubles in the heroine and heroes path. The beginning is rough and raced through so a little hard to understand, but goes at a better pace towards the middle and end. The narrator did an accent that was hard to understand at first and didn't identify the different guys voices very well so became confusing when it switched but I didn't know. The story had a great plot and was an interesting look at supernaturals, I am just not a fan of heartache.
So I sort of read out of order it seems. But, this story was amazing. Sometimes I'm iffy reading stories about prophecies because some stories just don't nail it right. But, Vanessa Ross nailed this one. I was captivated from the very beginning to the very end and I need to read more. Amazing story!
Book 1 in the series. It’s a short novella. Love how the author took 2 different worlds and combined them . The author Tala Wolfe Story will ignite your imagination to what the future will and might bring. The couple Kai and Kendix have hard decisions to make during a war .
Samantha Brentwood is fantastic as always. She brought the story to life ,
This gives the background and incidents that lead up to the Series. While it was good, it was also slow. I will continue to follow this Series for now and see where it goes. Narrator was clear but not really sure how much I liked her. she was not monotone, but not did not put much emotion into the reading, which would have made the book immensely more interesting.
This was a good quick read, it was a bit steamy for my preference. However, I truly enjoyed the characters and how they moved forward no matter what was placed in their way. Beatrice and Abe both became supernatural, but of course it is not an easy path. This story is one of love and sacrifice, it broke my heart. The story definitely kept me engaged, I recommend you try it.
Just wow!! The love that Abraham has for Bea is so beautiful that is spans loss and hundreds of years . The sacrifice the three of them make for all of the world shows just how strong their love is , and that is this story that leads us to Kai and Kendrick's stories.
I wasn't sure about this to begin with but it drew me in and I was compelled to keep listening. I liked the characters and story, but feel the story could be stretched out a little more.
This was a really good story!A warrior must marry the woman his best friend wants to marry to make the Morrigans vision of the future come true.Samantha Brentmoor was a fine narrator. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.'
This is a quick read to the beginning of what I imagine is a great story. Abe and Bea’s story is a turbulent one and definitely has its ups and downs but they finally make it in the end. What is to come has me intrigued and looking forward to what the author has in store for the two of them. Looking forward to reading the continuation.
Creating Warriors was a nice quick read. Perfect for an afternoon or weekend. If you enjoy humans and supernatural storylines, you’ll enjoy this book by Tala Wolfe. And, there are more novels in this story so you can continue on.
This story gives you the background on how and why the warriors were created. Full of drama and an everlasting love. This story makes you want to read the rest to see what happens next.

amazing story line and it show true love is eternal and never really dies. will recommend to anybody and everybody. can't wait to read the rest of the series.
Creating Warriors by Vanessa Ross is the prequel to the Fiann Company Series that I listened to on audio narrated by Samantha Brentmoor. Samantha did an amazing job narrating. I really enjoyed her accent and the voices she used for the multiple characters. I can't wait to hear future projects by her. This is the first book of Vanessa's that I have read and look forward to reading more of her books in the future.
The storyline really pulled me. I enjoyed the multiple points of view throughout the book so I was able to get into all the characters head. I loved the twist on the love triangle. I can't wait to dive into book one of the series Eagle's Keeper.
I would recommend this series to anyone who likes Paranormal Romance, Love Triangles, and Mythological Prophecies.
