I think reading these all in one go, is not the way to read this anthology. If I had read one, every couple of weeks/months I think I would have given this anthology a 4 stars but because I read these 3 one after the other it was too repetitive and my enjoyment was hindered.
All of these are fun, quick, with possessive alphas and insta-love.
Please forgive me, I don't remember any names so each story I review will just have hero and heroine as their names.
Under Construction
4 stars. Hero and heroine are next door neighbors. The walls of their apartments are thin and they hear everything, after meeting at the apartment mail boxes sparks fly between them. Cute, super quick read, I laughed when heroine was "getting back" at the hero for being able to hear him during the night and keeping her awake. It definitely prompted him to take action.
Under Her Hood
3 stars.
Didn't love this, it was fine but nothing that really stuck with me...which kind of made me sad because I'm a sucker for a greased up mechanic or a greased up guy in a t-shirt and some ripped jeans working on his car...and I didn't get really get that here...despite both characters being mechanics.
Under Fire
3.5 stars.
Liked this one more than the second story, less than the first story. This is an older hero/younger heroine. She's 20...21, he's 42. Love a good age-gap romance. He's a sexy firefighter that saves her (and her stubborn cat) from her burning apartment building. She has no where to go so he gives her a place to stay...with him.
