A YOUNG VAMPIRE girl follows a bully to his hideout, where she finds a malnourished and diseased kitten locked in a cage. Appalled by such torture, Elise decides to do whatever she can to help the kitten.
ZOMBIES. VAMPIRES. AND DEMONS.
In this post-apocalyptic world, humans are just a valuable vampires want their blood, zombies want their brains, and demons want their souls. The factions scrape what they need from each other, either through brute force or fragile alliances.
I really wanted to like this, kitten, vampire, what is not to like, right?? But I'm sorry to say this little book was hard to finish for me. It jumped all over the place and stuffed in alot of information about the world, but I think it was just to much on not enough pages. This didn't get the attention they needed and it made the story hard to follow. I'm very sorry to say I will not be recommending this book to anyone.
I'm sorry. I have no clue what i just read. I think I paid attention to about 70% of it but nothing stuck. Vampires, Zombies, Demon possessions... And a cat that is all 3? There were multiple jumps to POVs of miniscule characters that just added to the mess.
