After surviving the incident at probe NC-108, John Alvarez believes he is free to make a new life with his family. But when a radio wave emission source is observed approaching incorporated space, all that changes.
An impending anti-life attack is expected, and Alvarez is suddenly thrust into action as the new face of Novos diplomacy. He must thrash against the slow-moving wheels of corporate leadership and convince holdouts from other settlements to join the inter-corporate defense strategy.
But can he do it in time to give mankind a fighting chance?
“Existence is not by itself enough. It’s who you are, why you exist, who you love that matters.” Allen Kuzara integrates the technology, intrigue, chaos and human drama of the next giant threat with rare scientific and operational literacy. The politics involved within the corporates for a defensive strategy is very well outlined, the geopolitical desk-war, the sociology well defined and thought provoking, much to absorb, and very intense. How can you kill anti-life when it’s already dead? An absorbing series!
This is a free novel on Amazon. Oh how I love 💘 those free books 📚!I
Most this authors novels are free!
A very fast moving futuristic space Sci-Fi adventure novel about Anti Life that is coming. You can not kill it as it is already dead. Scientists everywhere are trying to find anything to stop ✋ it. Then something different happens? Continued in book three!
I would recommend this series and author to 👍 readers of fantasy futuristic adventure novels 👍🔰. 2023 😀👒👻😤
Had Doctor Black found the answer? Colonel John Alvarez was rescued at the probe, and the Novos corporation immediately reinstated him to his rank, mission colonel. It was in name only, as he was the face of the threat that was out there somewhere. Then a few months later, someone noticed a blueshift in the light coming from the Anti-Life probes location. It meant that something was traveling straight at them at sub-light speeds and would be close in about eighteen months. But then it happened, and it was not as if all the equipment aimed at the blueshift didn’t notice it. It was the humans assigned to monitor the instruments who ignored the warning, who ignored the protocols to warn the central station. Anti-Life ships suddenly appeared by the Trinity outpost and by the Trinity station itself, and Colonel John Alvarez was there and now in for the fight of his life, but that was not the worse news of the day.
The world-building and character interaction were on par with the first book in the series, but while the stage needed to be set, it took a long time before the action commenced. Yes, I considered it slow to start, but when it did start, it ended too soon, although its cliffhanger was expected.
This manuscript is about the continuation of the Anti-Life series, a space opera of science fiction like no other, at least as far as I have read. So, if you like sci-fi as much as I do, I think you will like this read. I give it four stars out of five stars.
"This is life of death for all of us." With the threat of Antilife now known, the various corporate regimes cannot agree on the best form of defense. And as they argue, the threat becomes a reality as one of the Outer Five is attacked. This, the second book in the trilogy, continues but this time with more politicking and action as Alvarez is reunited with his old girlfriend and scientist, Cynthia Black, in the battle for life. A good continuation of the series.
"you could be an incompetent fool, but as long as you kept a straight-face when you lied on vid-feed, you could make it." Chapter 7 Avoid spoilers: the Prime Directive of reviewing. PG13 and it takes most of a day to read. I read an Advance Review Copy and this voluntary review is my own opinion.
An excellent second part to this exciting sci fi adventure! Following the main character through his next almost impossible episode against antilife, very well written, excellent story & ideas! Brilliant! Looking forward to the next!
Anti life infection is what this book is about. It is a good read, not fast until the ending. Good writing but not a lot on the characters. It is still a good book worth reading.
