Aaron is an Australian author of children's books and artist who until the mid-2000s was also an actor. His award winning picture books include Pearl Barley and Charlie Parsley, The Ghost of Miss Annabel Spoon and the best-selling Pig the Pug.
In the field of acting, he is probably best known for his lead roles in two television dramedies, 1994's The Damnation of Harvey McHugh, for which he won an Australian Film Institute Award, and 2003's CrashBurn, before retiring from performance in 2005.
More absolute lunacy from The Bad Guys, as they comprehend goodness and badness, life and death, nature and nurture, whilst fighting an alien with butts for hands.
Everyone is right on the edge of losing their rag, and the arguing is hilarious.
Plus, the climax is a huge Aliens spoof and it is marvellous.
Miss 4 is autistic and the chapter books that she really likes, she REALLY likes. We have read the the Captain Underpants and Dog Man books many, many times over the last two years and we have now added the Bad Guys to the mix reading Books 1-8 several times through over the last month. It's an awesome series that it likely to be a hit with fans of Dav Pilkey (and his endorsement on the covers helped encourage me to buy them).
I love the personality contrasts between the characters - the endless optimism of Wolf, comedy from Piranha, master-of-ridiculous-disguises Shark, pragmatic Snake, and mad skillz from Legs. The first book is something of a standalone (and there's a slight difference in tone with Books 1 and 2 before the series veers away into pure fiction) but the rest have a definite on-going plot arc. Our favourites are .
The bad guys are trying to be good for the fifth and sixth time . They are going to make the world a better place again . But is anything bad going to happen to them .
Estos dos episodios me han parecido increíbles. Me he reído muchísimo con ellos, y el final.... No hace falta q diga lo q voy ha hacer a continuación...¿verdad?
