Rate this book
The long-awaited sequel to BINARY SYSTEM: DENEB!

Having just narrowly escaped capture by an unknown assailant, Rin and the comatose Alisa Pierce seek refuge on the pirate colony known as Avernus. Their savior, the enigmatic mercenary Sara Loewe, makes the arrangements to repair Alisa's damaged implant so that the link between Rin and her partner can be re-established. Lying low on the corruption-ridden settlement, well outside of the Sol Alliance's sphere of influence, Rin grapples with her own feelings regarding the state of humanity and the war with the Gray.

When a specter from Sara's past threatens their freedom and lives, the three of them are left scrambling to survive the coming onslaught. A fighting retreat leads Rin and her partner deeper and deeper into the conspiracy that had so disrupted their lives and careers. As Rin struggles to bring her love out of the prison of her own mind, their unseen enemy continues to move their pieces across the board and a new, yet familiar, foe materializes from within the shadows. In the midst of this chaos and double-dealing behind the scenes, a sliver of new light is shed on the incomprehensible and unknowable motives of the Gray.

The tale of Alisa and Rin continue in BINARY SYSTEM: SIRIUS, as our heroines, their friends and their allies continue to fight for the future!

Excellent follow up

If you've read the first book and gotten hooked, the next installment will not disappoint! Intrigue, space battles, true love, and a exploration of what it means to have conscious thought and free will, all packed in delightfully paced adventure that kept me hooked through the end! I can't wait for the next book!
