An interesting overview of the first year of my favourite gaming system - The PlayStation Vita by Sandeep Rai (aka 2 Old 4 Gaming).
Chronicles history, launch and missteps undertaken in year 1 in an interesting narrative format. Includes interviews with game developers and retrospectives of key titles (both in terms of successes and failures. It would have been interesting to have reflection of year 1 from people who were involved in the creation/development/marketing of the Vita, but probably too soon for that!
I am looking forward to volumes 2 and 3 covering the next 4 years - and if they are as excellent and thoughtful as Year One, a full release compendium would make an useful addition to the gaming history genre!
