Oh man, I could not even finish this book, to be honest I don't even know how far into it I made it. The writing is a little flawed. In one moment the male main character refers to his mom by her proper name. For example ... "Mary Beth looked up and grinned at me" . Other times he'll refer to her by "mom" in the same scenario. There was a phone call made right, and the male MC calls the female MC. The way she responds is almost like she's reading bullet points on a presentation in the way she answers him. "Yes, that's me. Yes I live in town. Yes, I can come up for an interview". The dialogue doesn't flow smoothly at all. Now if you think this is all "ok", how about this doozie. And I quote .... "Angela’s back was turned to me as she gazed out of the large front window, but from what I could see, she was beautiful ".

This book was atrocious. I like the Hero and I like the herione at first but then the author did something that turned her stupid. The proofreading was nonexistent, the inconsistencies were awful. Don't waste your time or money on this book. I was lucky and got it on KU but that is several hours I won't be able to get back.
Why must authors waste everyone's time with something like this? She wasn't even trying to put out a good book. She just wanted to make a dollar. Well I'm telling her that I also got the 2nd book on KU and I be returning it without reading it. Not evening going to waste my time.

Her Mountain Daddy by KC Crowne
Brad has been a widower for the last four years. He wants to honour his wife’s dying wishes of homeschooling their twin boys, who are now aged 12. He starts the process of interviewing for a teacher that his boys will like. When Angela’s resume lands on his desk, he thinks he may have found the perfect teacher, what he does not expect is to find a second chance at love. Angela is on the run from her crazy ex. She has been looking for a job that will keep her off the radar and she thinks she may have found it. What she did not realise is that she would fall in love with Brad and his two boys. Can she fall in love with Brad or will she be putting all their lives at risk? This was a fast-paced love story with plenty of action; plot twists, as well as some, really swoon-worthy moments. Overall, I really enjoyed this story.

Good story but with errors

There is a lot I liked about this story. It was sweet. The dialogue mostly wasn't awkward. The characters weren't slutty or anything like that. Although, I am worried about the books for the other brothers, because at least one seems like a player, which I hate. The ending was great, and the book was well put together.

What bothered me was the errors. There were typos, misused words, words that should have a space between them, and I'm confused about the title. My Amazon copy clearly says Wilder Brothers, Book One in the title. They're the Hunter brothers. Most of the dialogue was fine, but her answer to the marriage proposal was weird and felt unrealistic and awkward.

Five stars. Brad has twelve-year-old twin boys. He needed a teacher to homeschool them. Hired Angela. He liked her physical appearance, felt a tingle when he touched her, and fantasied about her constantly. Angela had an abusive ex-boyfriend. She escaped to the small town where Brad lived. The chemistry between them was very intense. WOW, did it get hot at times. HEA but lots to deal with concerning the ex before their HEA. Loved the family dynamics, the well-mannered boys, and the deep abiding love among the characters. A few errors, but they did not detract from the story. Recommend to anyone that likes romance stories with some heat.

Show and tell... This was all tell

The book can do with a good edit although I don't think that will fix any of the continuity issues. But more than these niggles the lack in character development is the biggest reason for my 1 star. If I could it would have been a no star. The story premise has been done before but could havr survived if not for writing that felt like a 15 year old was playing grown up. I would not recommend this book.

Ahh this story just makes my heart sing.
A widower looks to get a home tutor for his twin boys. It was something Brad and his late wife Sam talked about and he wanted to honor that to her. Brad could not imagine him finding the same happiness that he shared with Sam and was content on concentrating on the boys, his family and the family business.
Angela had just recently moved to blue Haven, running away from a past she hoped would never catch up to her. She had no one here but she did have her friend Hope at the end of the phone when she needed to hear a friendly voice. She missed her parents too but she couldn’t put them in danger.
Angela goes for a interview to home school Reid and Bryce Hunter. She hits it off straight away. She also feels the attraction between Brad and herself.
This story is about trust, a second chance at love and it’s about exceptance.
I really really enjoyed this story and hope to hear more from the hunter family.
I received an ARC and now I choose to leave my honest review.

So this book had serious potential. Loved the idea of it. Plot was good. However there are some serious issues. The writing is so juvenile that I really wanted to give up at times. Some of the mistakes were just laughable and it made you wonder if this book was ever read after it was written or just published.

“After I composted myself” - think that should of been composed.
“I reached for her lacy bosom and felt her tits” - don’t say bosom and tits in one sentence
The guys seemed to “giggle” a lot in this book - chuckled or laughed would have been better words.
Brad used the word “tummy” to describe her stomach. No guy trying to be sexy will say tummy.
Punctuation out of place.
To much description at times
Their names are said waaaaaayyyyyy to much. Yes we know their names are Brad and Angela. How about using he/she or him/her in there a few times.

Hoping other books in the series are a little better as the author got more comfortable with writing. If it continues the way it did I don’t know if I’m going to be able to read them all.

Brad was the oldest of the four Hunter boys known as the "hefty husky hunks". He had been married to Sam and they'd had a set of twin boy until four years ago when Sam died of cancer. They had previously discussed their children and had decided when the boys started Junior High School, they would be homeschooled rather than continue to attend public school, that way they would have an individualized education without the violence taking place in public school.
Angela Barret had just moved to Blue Haven and was looking for a low key teaching job that wouldn't put her name out there too much and where should could be paid in cash. She didn't want to leave a trail for anyone to find her.
A love at first sight romance with a plot and characters you'll want to fall in love with. This is the first book I've read of K. C. Crowne but won't be the last as I'm hoping she will continue the series with books about the remaining brothers. What a cast and crew she has brought to life.

Angela has worked as a teacher and college professor and is on the run from her crazy ex who tried to kill her. She thinks she has covered her tracks and is looking for a job. Brad, whose family owns a mountain resort, hires Angela to home school his twin 12-year-old sons. Brad's wife died of cancer four years ago and he hasn't dated since.

A romance develops between Brad and Angela then her ex comes calling. This is a pretty fast paced romance with Brad and Angela falling for one another quickly. There are typos caused by two words being run together without spaces. They're easy to figure out so they don't detract from the story a whole lot but hopefully this is something the author can fix.

Overall, it was a nice story and I enjoyed getting to know the family. Hopefully, other stories will be written about Brad's brothers. I received an ARC for an honest review. I haven't been compensated and this review is my opinion.

I really loved this story and how real it is. Hunter and Angela are a match made in heaven; their coming together felt like a set up from Sarah; Hunter’s late wife. I’m sure she felt like Hunter and their twin boys Bryce and Reid needed to find and feel love ❤️ again and sent Angela his way. Hunter still had a hard time letting go of Sarah, even though cancer took her away four years ago. He and Sarah had agreed to homeschooling for their children and Hunter wanted to absolutely honour her wishes; therefore, he placed an add and their wish was answered in every sense of the word. This beautiful love 💗 story is emotionally captivating and very difficult to put down once you start reading it. I highly recommend you read it; it’s my first reading from this author and if all her books 📚 are as captivating as this one, then it won’t be my last. I’m looking forward to reading more of her books.

OH MY MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP!!!
Wow! Holy crap! Ok guys, I have to say this is one sweet little lady. Crowne displays her talents with this jewel. I was hooked from the start. You get action packed, sizzling chemistry and a whirlwind of emotions to sort through. All the drama that comes with relationships and enough suspense to hold your attention. The characters are well developed and believable. Their personalities are realistic and unique with traits that draw you in as they balance out perfectly. The scenes are so vivid and detailed it makes for one fantastic backdrop that really makes the storyline pop. The twists and turns abound with all the nerve racking, nailbiting excitement you can handle. Crowne did an excellent job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Great job Crowne, thanks for sharing this awesome read with us.

This was a great book. The storyline flowed so well and the characters were fantastic. Brad has been a widower for four years and raising his twelve year old twin sons. He needs to find a teacher who can homeschool his sons. Angela was a professor at a college in Kansas and had to move to get away from her ex. She fills out the application for the teaching job. During the interview they hit it off and they are both attracted to each other. Brad feels guilty for having these feelings, but his family has told him that his wife would have wanted him to be happy. They have such an amazing connection to each other and the boys really like Amanda, as does the rest of the family. There is some suspense, insta lust, romance and some undeniable chemistry. I can’t wait to read about the other Hunter brothers.

Brad Hunter is searching for a teacher for his twin sons who he raises by himself since his wife's passing. Nearly at the end of his rope Angela applies for the position as a home school teacher and Brad is instantly smitten not just by her beauty but also by her knowledge and how well his boys connect with her. Accepting the position Angela is related to finally have some normalcy back in her life...or so she thought. Not being completely truthful to Brad she finally has to come clean and Brad is more determined than ever to keep the woman safe that he is falling for.

The way K.C. Crowne writes about the Colorado Wilderness is beautiful. You are transformed right into nature and can form a clear vision of the setting. The story is flowing and the characters are amazingly developed. This was my very first read by this author and it definitely won't be my last.

Angela is on the run from her crazy ex. When she moves to a small town, her dreams of being a teacher again are slim. Brad helps his family run the family resort in a small mountain town. After he lost his wife, raising his twin boys and working have become his everything. When he decides the boys need to be home schooled, Angela just happens to fit the bill. Sparks fly instantly but both are care due to their past. With Angela's past knocking at the door, it's hard for her to move forward with Brad. Someone love always conquers. It doesn't hurt that Brad has 3 hot other brothers!

I can't wait for the next one's in the series to come out. I received an ARC copy and I am giving my honest and voluntary review.

A MUST READ!!!
What a wonderful start to a writing career! This story has it all mystery, romance, love, family, and danger. These are all carefully combined in this story centering on Angela and Brad. Angela has literally run for her life from a disastrous relationship. Ending up in a small ski resort town, she is looking for work as a teacher. Brad, a widow is seeking a teacher to home school his two boys per the wishes he and his deceased wife had. They live at his parent’s huge basically year round resort. The characters are terrific, and we are given insight into all of them, some more deeply than others. The story is terrific and extremely well written; it will pull you in until the last word.

Brad had lost his wife who was the love of his life and mother to his twin boys. Her one wish before she became ill with cancer was that when the boys became teens was to have them tutored at home so he was looking for a teacher to do that. Angela is a collage prof but had to leave her passion due to her boyfriend nearly killing her, so she packed up and left. Now in a small mountain town she is looking for a private job so that he cannot find her. When she meets Brad and his boys there is an instant pull to each other. I loved this story it had some fun parts, some hot and steamy and also a nasty Ex that is lurking in the back ground to add a little spice too. Ever one will love this read.

This book is amazing. I love all the brothers. They are so united and look out for each other. Brad is a single daddy and loves his boys very much. He promised his late wife that he will be homeschooling his twin sons.
When he meets Angela, there is an instant connection between the two of them.
Angela had a hard past and was abused by her boyfriend. That is why she came to this little town. She is strong and confident but always on a watchout for her ex.
The story is beutiful and I liked how it was flowing by. It has a little bit of drama and I liked it.
I reccomend you to read this book.

Well written story, but it seemed simple and predictable. The characters are cute, just like the story, and finally, the situation of harassment that the heroine undergoes is the only twist.
Brad works at a mountain resort, with his entire family and two sons. He is a widower, and to fulfill the promise made to his wife, his two teenage sons will finish their studies at home. For this, Brad needs a teacher and he hires Angela (30 years old) a high school and university teacher. She fled her old life to escape her ex-boyfriend stalker. Soon, Brad and Angela are attracted, but Angela feels she is watched and she confides to Brad.

Her Mountain Daddy: A Single Daddy Mountain Man Romance (Bearded Bros Book Book 1) by K.C. Crowne - I would have given this one a 4 because the story wasn't bad. But they failed to run this book past Microsoft Word. As an English major, I can tell you to trusting Word to save your paper is a mistake. I do have complete faith that ifyou accidentally just runwords together on everyotherpage then Word will catch it, and you will not look like German is your primary language. I know my brain can figure out what that says, but it shouldn't have to work that hard! An editor could sort this one out, and the book would improve dramatically! Happy Reading!

So much yes

This book was a joy to read! And not just for the sexy mountain man! I really liked the various side storylines with the homeschooling, and how the family unit interacted with each other at the resort (which was so beautifully described, I could imagine Brad’s sunrise views). I also enjoyed the sweet progression of Angela and Brad’s romance, their adorable private thoughts and the way Brad took charge asking Angela to dinner, then kissing her afterwards in her home, despite being so apprehensive. When it’s done in a gentlemanly way that’s reciprocated, it’s darn sexy and sensual!

A Really Sweet & Gripping 10/10 Must Read!

This book was such a fabulous read & I found I just couldn't put it down for one minute as I needed to find out what happened next!

The instant attraction between Brad & Angela was electric & the chemistry sizzled more & more throughout this gorgeous, beautiful novel.

I'm really hoping that K.C will follow up with Cole, Dax & Harley's stories too as I fell in love all of them too!

I wholeheartedly recommend this book to everyone - It's well worth it!

Well Done K.C. I really cannot wait for more. I NEED more!
