Successful alpha in need of an omega unafraid to take control. Willing to be generou$$$. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Troy Sullivan is the current owner of The Palisade, one of the most popular casinos on the Las Vegas Strip. With more money in the bank than he could spend in a lifetime, and surrounded by yes-men more interested in staying in his good graces than helping him improve his business, Troy craves what he can’t have—someone to tell him “no.” When he discovers Rent-a-Dom, he’s convinced he’s found his solution: a master decades his junior who specializes in financial domination, and who won’t so much as let Troy see his face…
Robin Mills is a young entrepreneur with the weight of the world on his shoulders. After signing over his half of his start-up, Rent-a-Dom, to his brother Monty, he’s made a business out of counting cards in order to afford their mother’s expensive medical treatments. But when Monty contacts Robin about a particular client, Robin finds himself drawn back into the world of BDSM, this time as Master to the man who makes his blood boil—Troy Sullivan.
For the last year and a half, Robin has dominated Troy from across the country, denying him every chance he gets. But when a betrayal at the executive level leaves Troy blindsided and in need of a strong hand, Robin is faced with a tantalizing choice: let his submissive crash and burn, or step in and stake a claim on the world he thought he’d left behind.
This MM book contains mpreg, D/s elements, and is intended for 18+ readers. Warning: Don't read unless you like fun books with snarky, headstrong omega Doms; naughty, lacy things in all the right places; alphas who know exactly what they want and aren’t afraid to admit it; and scenes so hot, they won’t only melt your kindle, they’ll burn down your house. But then again, this is a Susi Hawke and Piper Scott collaboration—you already knew to expect that, didn’t you?
I'm a total fan of M/PREG Paranormal Romances, first and foremost as a reader. I'm excited to share my own omegaverse(s) with you. What's not to love about adorable Omegas and the Alpha men who love them? If I'm not writing about men sporting baby bumps, I'm definitely reading about them!
I'm a native of Las Vegas, NV, so I'm pre-wired to love everything weird ~ although I don't find any kind of love to be weird. I'm a cis woman who's been happily married to the same lovable lug for 18 years. We have a 16yr old son, well, at least I think we do? Either that, or we have a ghost that eats all our food and uses up all wifi playing xbox while screaming into a headset.
As a new author, it's been amazing to find the amount of support that I've been given from readers and my fellow authors. Feel free to message me, I love to chat with fellow readers. Am I a reader? Heck yeah! In fact, I'm never certain that I can completely trust an author who isn't a fellow bibliophile.
I will try to update here when I'm doing promotional parties & chats. I usually do those on Facebook. If you haven't already signed up for my newsletter, you should totally do it! I only send out NL's to announce new releases or important announcements. I also like to note in my NL what I'm currently reading along with a cover shot and the link for anyone who is interested.
Nick J Russo really makes these stories. But I enjoyed this one, I think it would have been nice seeing the plans being implemented for the casino but overall a quick and easy read.
I feel like these books could be read on their own since the two MC’s in this book weren’t in book one. And I think same goes for book 3.
It never occurred to me that there are submissive Alphas or Dominant omegas… I know, right? Well I’m still learning where this genre’s concerned, but this might be my favorite pairing yet. Troy and Robin are perfect together and I hated to see Master Wanted come to an end.
Susi Hawke and Piper Scott have a whole bunch of fun with this one. I’m loving the dynamic between Robin and his brother and Monty and I can’t wait to get Monty’s story in Beard Wanted, the 4th in this enjoyable series. Of course I could just read it myself, but once you’ve heard Nick J. Russo narrate these books you’d want to hold out too.
Nick J. Russo is perfect for these two guys and I’ve got no doubt he’s having a ton of fun performing this one. He completely nails Robin’s snark, Troy’s sweetly submissive alpha, and he kept me chuckling over the great supporting characters too.
Master Wanted also includes some of my favorite kinks including a very nicely done age gap, a few BDSM toys we don’t see often enough, sassy phone sex, and (yay) MANTIES!
an audiobook copy of Master Wanted was provided to me for my review
Frustrated and tired of "yes" men, Troy Sullivan reaches out to a confidential discreet Rent-A-Dom service to give him what he craves and needs the most - denial.
Robin Mills and his brother established the Rent-A-Dom service as a viable alternative for individuals who need a Dom but aren't ready or able to pledge a long term commitment with a special someone.
Robin has taken a back seat in running the business when a real life crisis requires his total and undivided 24/7 attention. It's a different matter when the opportunity to get back at someone from his past arises allowing his Dom side to come out and play.
It's every man for himself when Troy gets in over his head making it possible for Robin to get his ultimate revenge dropping Troy as his client or step up and be the Dom Troy needs.

Second installment in the "Rent-a-Dom" series that can be read as an independent stand alone story. I do want to include the following info: while the setting for this story is contemporary Las Vegas, this contemporary Las Vegas is located in the alternate universe of Omegaverse where Alpha, beta, & omegas (non paranormal shifters) are the norm.
Who doesn't love a dick lit story of snark, humor, and BDSM man on man action. First story I've read that addressed BDSM financial domination. Totally opened my eyes to the positive aspects of this type of relationship as it decries the stigma that financial domination is a subtle play of words for gold digger. End result, I was in awe over the explosive graphic mutual satisfying results such a relationship achieves.
Robin & Troy were made for each other. The problem was that their relationship was a contracted long distance sort of thing making it virtual impossible to have a meaningful relationship - especially considering Robin's reason for agreeing to be Troy's Dom. When the bombshell crisis occurs (which was a weak story line issue the way it was presented) I held my breathe crossing my fingers that Robin would do the right thing. Did he? I won't officially confirm or deny if he does though this is a romance read.
Secondary characters. I really love it when irritating secondary characters redeem themselves in my eyes to the point I don't want them to fade away, never to be heard from again. Eugene & Lena. I have so much to say about them but that would be spoiler info and give away their roles in this story. I just know I'll never look at water bottles or rubber bands the same ever again.
My issues are minor and have no bearing on the overall story. It's important to realize that in Omegaverse, characters take on personalities consistent with their counterparts in the animal kingdom though they do not shape shift. Male pregnancy is also possible in this world. I would have appreciated knowing those baseline facts prior to reading my first Omegaverse which is why I try to include that info in my reviews for potential virgin Omegaverse readers. That being said, I was confused/conflicted when the roles and mindset I've come to know regarding Omegaverse had variables I hadn't encountered before. Nothing I can comment further about as it would be spoiler info but wanted to include this as the reason I didn't go full 5 star rating. May totally be a personal thing but it is what it.
This is an Omegaverse m-m erotic romance dick lit/m-m book fans of such definitely should check out. It's fun, it's snarky, and hot hot hot. Not a book to be read in public spaces unless you're willing to explain bouts of uncontrolled snorts, laughter, and suspicious sighs, moans, and groans.
OK, So… I have to admit I was a little worried as I got into the beginning of this book that I might actually not like it. *Gasp* I mean I don’t think I have ever NOT liked a book from either of these authors and they are absolutely amazing when they collaborate together.
But, once I read about a chapter or so, learned some of the backstory and figured out the dynamic between these two men; Alpha Troy and Omega Robin this story totally sucked me in. I absolutely loved that The Dom in this book was an Omega and their roles were pretty much reversed from the usual Alpha/Omega pairings. The Financial domination of the story was extremely interesting and really unexpected, I’ve never read a book with this premise before. Troy was fascinating… I think that Troy being in charge of a huge company and having so much money, but being so fully submissive in every part of the relationship with Robin was a nice twist to see in the story. I loved seeing that Troy was able to be himself and wasn’t worried what anyone else thought of him, besides his master. Omg. And learning about the past the two men had was hilarious, poor Troy, he did not even see Robin coming and was completely blindsided by him. Robin is adorable and brilliant and I loved his no nonsense personality.
This book was a great addition to the Rent-a-Dom series. I am happy to say that my doubts in this book were completely unfounded, and I ended up loving it. I fully enjoyed every part of this book and I look forward to reading the next one in this series.
Audio - Nick J. Russo did a fantastic job capturing these characters just as much as he did with the first book in the series. I think he was a great pick to narrate this whole set of books. He made sure that his vocal tone and emotions were all spot on whenever different situations called for it especially with this specific Alpha/Omega pairing. His voice for Troy was my favorite. I really think he did his personality justice with this audiobook.
It's official, I am really enjoying this series. And this book was a rarity with a younger, smaller, omega Dom and an older, larger, Alpha sub. I loved that dynamic. Troy is a millionaire casino owner with too much sitting on his shoulders and Robin is our rent-a-dom. I don't want to spoil any of the story but they have met before. As Troy's Dom, Robin takes over his personal finances which really gets him going but I kept wondering what if Robin was a total douche and stole all his shit? That wasn't even brought up. Well they are living in an alternate universe, right? Anyways, I loved this story, loved Robin's brother (hope is story is next) and adored their dynamic. Can't wait for the next one!!
Whoa, the heat has turned up right at page one! Where the first book was a fun, sweet, mild kink, this has added spice. Loved how the omega is the Dom in this scenario. A much more exciting read.
The second book wasn't as funny as the first but it was still good. Young Omega dominating older Alpha was great. Age gap is one of my favorite kinks. Looking good ladies, keep it coming.
Cute story! The dynamic between the main characters was interesting. I haven't read anything like it. And I do love it when the Dom is younger than the sub! I really enjoyed it
Troy has had a Dom relationship with Robin via text and phone for the last year and a half. After a particularly bad day for Troy the pair finally meet at Troy's casino. It's a shock to him when he realises who his long distance Dom is.
Robin is determined to remain as Troy's Dom and new business associate but is not interested in dating Troy. There is a huge age gap between them, Troy is surprised by Robin's business knowledge. TBH it took me a little while to warm to this book. I think it was because financial domination is not my thing. I did enjoy it more as their relationship progressed.
"The way he looked at me, the way he submitted to me, and the way he cared for me.. The lines were starting to blur."
"What was I going to do about Troy's feelings? … and what was I going to do about my own?"
"I'm not here for sex, I'm here for you."
I did like how their relationship came together. 3.5 Stars
Good story, but I was just a little shocked at how quickly Troy accepted Robin as the man he'd been submitting to for the past 18 months. Even though I love a older sub/younger dom dynamic, it seemed a little too fast for Troy to adjust to the fact of it in person. But maybe that's just me. And it's not going to stop me from reading the next book in the series -- it was still hella hot and I'm sure the next one will be just as good, especially being an MMM/ABO situation!
The story of Troy and Robin was good. Both seem to be perfect for each other. There could have been a little more depth to the characters but overall I liked both. This was very low-angst, which I love, and it’s just super cute in general. Well and steamy. This was a good and quick read and I am actually pretty happy I picked this up.
Interesting dynamic between very young Robin, an omega Dom, and Troy, an alpha Sub, already in his forties. I enjoyed reading their story, although tbh, the financial part of the D/s relationship made me cringe. 😬
It's a rare thing that I read about a Dom omega in omegaverse world. Interesting and fun. There's some humour the author didn't forget to put in the story. Entertaining and I enjoyed this one!
I didn't care for a financial D/s. Also Robin is taking money from Troy, what is he using it for? Why up the amt? Once we get past all of that and they start an actual relationship, I liked the book. I liked them working together to get the business back on track. I didn't like that the first time they have sex it is without a condom. I liked that Troy stepped up when Robin became pregnant & wanted to have a family. Even though I had issues with this book, I will be continuing with the series.
Audio ARC provided by LesCourt Services in exchange for an honest review.
This was book 2 in the "Rent-a-Dom" series. Troy Sullivan is an alpha who owns a popular casinos on the Las Vegas Strip he is also a submissive who is surrounded by yes men so he hires a Dom to tell him no. Robin Mills is a young smart omega who is a Dom 3 years earlier he was busted for counting cards in Troy's casino and was humiliated before being ask to leave. Turns out Robin started Rent a Dom and turned it over to his brother Monty when his mother got sick he moved back to help her. One of the things that I like about this series is that the alphas are not always Dom's and that it was ok that Troy was a submissive. These two were in a long distance D/s relationship and when Robin decides to go back to Vegas Troy finds out that one of his employees has stole millions from the casino. This was a really good read Robin comes in and takes over to help get the casino back on its feet and to help Troy change things. These two begin to get close although Robin is still holding back they begin having sex and start getting feelings for each other and when Robin gets sick they find out they had an oops moment. This was a good read that made me want more BDSM moments in it. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I wish the authors would write about Monty Robin's brother. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
Susi Hawke and Piper Scott took a typical D/s relationship dynamic and flipped it upside down and turned it around. And they did it within the Omegaverse dynamic as well, which made flipping the script even better. It was pretty awesome, and like everything else that these two ladies have touched, it's pretty awesome.
Troy is a rich, powerful, successful Alpha who runs one of the best casinos on the Vegas strip. But, he wants more. He wants a master who will deny him, dominate him, and let him be free. So when he heard about Rent-a-Dom, he knew he had the right place to go.
Robin is an Omega with a strong connection to RaD. He helped start it with his brother. He only has one client though, and that's only because he has a powerful connection to the client. He is Troy's Master, and what makes it even better is that Troy has no clue who he is.
Generally, in this trope, the older Alpha is the power in the relationship, but in this one, you have the younger guy who would normally be the submissive kind of person being the Domly type. It's a great role reversal and turned it into an excellent story. I truly enjoy anything these ladies write and when things get flipped, it's even better.
I found this one a bit boring unfortunately. The omegaverse elements were so minimally referenced that it felt like it was only included to make the pregnancy possible. The pacing felt a bit unnatural. The dialogue during the intimate scenes was pretty great though!
I liked this book. The power dinamic was diferent and I enjoyed it. Troy with his eagerness to please and Robin with his dominat streak, very good to read about
I received this book by the authors for an honest opinion. This book is the second in the series and so much better then the first. I really enjoyed this book and the story it portrayed and I give no hesitancy in giving it a 5. Robin is an omega and has had a tough life what with his mum being ill and him and his brother trying to scrape together enough money to start up their business rent a Dom and to pay for there mum's treatment. At a loose end he inadvertently meets Troy after being caught card counting at his casino. Being humiliated he goes away with his tail between his legs. Fast forward to the present he's now a confident Dom who's more then use to wielding a whip, when who's name should come up in need of a Dom, none other then Troy the Alpha who humiliated him when he was younger. Having an axe to grind he accepts him as a client but what turns out to be a grudge at first becomes so much that neither was expecting it. I really enjoyed this, it was the perfect read for me with the omega being the one in charge and dominant and the Alpha in a more submissive role. I liked that the Alpha was comfortable in his desires and could let Robin help him without being a pratt. There was a slight age difference too, with Troy being older then Robin. A brilliantly written book, with good humour "The only one on the receiving end of your whip is going to be your husband-to-be. Poor submissive alphas everywhere weep.” And which ticked all of my themes that I like to read about. Recommend to any looking for a good read. Good cover also💞
4* Master Wanted is the second book in the Rent-A-Dom series by Piper Scott & Susi Hawke and can be read as a standalone as only one secondary character overlaps. Robin started the business, Rent-A-Dom with his brother, Monty, but ended up signing it over to him while taking care of their mother and card counts to pay for her medical treatments. Troy is the owner of The Palisade casino in Las Vegas and has just been betrayed by one of his longtime executives. Their relationship started out as a contract, over the phone and long distance only, but Robin’s about to drop in unexpectedly and shake up Troy’s world.
I have never read any books that have financial domination as the main BDSM element. This aspect of Troy and Robin’s relationship was done in a unique way that was also seemingly healthy way for both parties (no gold digging).
Great addition to the series, and I enjoyed it even more than the first one! Intriguing concept using financial domination. Can't wait to read book 3!
Spoilers below:
I really enjoyed reading about their first meeting and why Robin decided to take on Troy as his “fin-dom” as well as their second meeting when Robin comes to take over in person. I was also very impressed with how quickly Troy trusts Robin with his business and allows him to take over some of those roles when he showed an aptitude and excellence for them.
“Troy’s punishment for f***ing up in such an astronomical way was simple: I was here now, and I’d make sure in the best way I could that he’d never f*** up again. Master had come to play.”
To my ratings (thanks to amazon I had to change it again and 'upgrade' it a little bit. My old 3* is now a 3,5* and clicked with a 4*):
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow- Away-book like 'Liberty' from Seth King, 'Save the kids' series from EM Leya or 'Jesse's Smile' from Angelique Jurd), it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader, but not really an often reread book
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time- reader (i wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok) It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolut NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
Susi Hawke and Piper Scott's second Rent A Dom book is Master Wanted. Admittedly, it took me a little while to get sucked into this book, but I did.
Despite letting his Dom control him for a while, Troy has never met him in person or seen a photo. When he finally meets him, he is shocked to find out that his Dom is Robin, the last person he would have ever expected.
Robin has shown up to help Troy out of his struggling financial situation. What starts as a strictly Dom/sub relationship, soon morphs into being friends. In a great storyline, Troy finds out why Robin tried to cheat him years ago, and feels bad about his reaction at the time.
A wonderful line during this scene is "Everyone has their story." I love this! Robin is like the rest of us, as what you see on the outside does not explain what's on the inside.
Soon, as the lines start to blur, Troy finds himself wishing that Robin's path in life included being with Troy. Robin is left with the decision to proceed with his plan, or to ditch the plan and let himself love Troy.
The relationship between Troy and Robin is spectacular. Add in the fact that the nerdy one is the dom? So good!!!! And then add in their complicated backstory and it's out of this world good.
So, yes, as you would expect, this collab by Susi Hawke and Piper Scott is perfect! Don't miss out on reading Master Wanted.
I honestly adored how capable Robin was. He was more than a pretty face and a commanding tone. He was snarky, brilliant, intelligent, quick-thinking, passionate, caring, creative, and a helluva sexy imagination. There were a few things I was leery of, like breaking trust as a Dom, but the way he handled the different personas was actually a relief, a surprise, and a joy. Allowing himself to take control but then to set boundaries so he could be truly himself and to help Troy in the best way possible was incredibly admirable. For Troy's part I was never made to feel his age or their difference in generations all that much. Aside from the occasional joke or the informational mentions of Troy's age, I just saw two men navigating a tricky yet passionate personal relationship and a stressful yet successful working partnership. While everything did work out in the end, the way they got to that point was a pretty steady progression with only a minor freak-out over a major issue. Both Troy and Robin's interplay was entertaining to read and I think my favorite aspect of this was the roles they both played. To have the younger, slighter omega be the Dom was an interesting dynamic that intrigued me right from the start. There was very low angst and a very happy ending.
