CRAVING FOR LOVE: I really enjoyed this love story but I have to say there are a few twists and turns and one or two I didn't see coming. Casey Cassidy has broken up with her boyfriend Jason and is moving to Colorado for a new start. She and Jason just didn't want the same things in life and it was time for Casey to move on, no matter how much it hurts. The skiing is supposed to be better there anyway.
Blain Johnson is a surfer turned skier and when he sees the new employee at the ski resort she truly does turn his head. Casey and Blain become quick friends and that eventually turns into more, but something is off and Casey can't quite figure it out. Then Jason moves to the same town, with a job at the same ski resort. What's a girl to do?
In the end it was just a really sweet love story.

Now relocated in Colorado she has traded in her skates for skis and is trying to find a new normal while living with paranoia and PTSD. Gretchen is a world class snow boarder preparing for the Olympic trials. She doesn't have time for a boyfriend or relationships as they'll only get in the way of her dreams. The adrenalin junkie in her is just fine with a little rough sex now and then as long as the guy doesn't get serious. If he does, it's over.
Derrick and his sister Nika meet Gretchen in an extremely bizzarre way but when he walks in to the golf course grill where she bartends they have a chance to get to know each other a little more. Derrick is all about hot sex with no expectations and if he can get it on the rougher side, all the better. It seems the adrenaline junkie in Gretchen may just meet the edgy needs he has.
These two are so determined to play the field, keep things fun and exciting with absolutely no feelings aloud that neither is prepared for what happens. Caught off guard when they realize the sex is incredible and they have a lot of similar interests, neither is prepared for the emotions that sneek in.
I loved the relationship that quickly developed between Gretchen and Nika. It was also fun to watch the relationship between Gretchen and all her girl friends and how Gretchen is realizing that she is always a 3rd or 5th wheel since her friends all have boyfriends. She is starting to realize that maybe she can have it all and maybe she can have it with Derrick. It was even more hilarious to watch the quick progression of Derrick's fall. Funny, exciting and a little drama thrown in make this book a very enjoyable read.
FIERCE IN LOVE: Dannika Hamilton is an ex-model who has learned to work it to her advantage. But she suddenly finds her life turned a bit topsy turvy when her twin brother ends up engaged and moving away with his fiance. Dannika knows she is a bit spoiled and has relied a little too heavily on her brother and other men in her past, yet when Christian Nickleson walks into her life she doesn't hesitate to let another man step into the role her brother had. However, it seems Christian is all for a fun and flirty relationship yet is determined to keep Nika firmly in the friend zone. When the two find themselves in business together they may both realize that the sparks are just to intense to ignore. So when tragedy strikes will their love for each other be enough to keep them together or will the memories of the past drive an unforgiving wedge between them?

Five novels set in the ski area of Breckenridge, Colorado, tell the stories of five different couples, their problems, their dreams, and their trials.
There were quite a lot of things I liked, but equally as many I disliked in these stories; I loved the story of Lori and Kaleb, and to an extent the one of Gretchen and Derrick, the first novel about Jason and Casey did not really draw me in, and I suppose by the last two novels, about Dannika and Christian, and Ruby and Neal, I just got used the the characters, as they appeared in each one of the books - and that was something I really loved, to be honest.
Some of the protagonists just seemed to have a lot of growing up to do; I was confused as to what their ages were supposed to be, from their description I guessed mid twenties, but sometimes they seemed so much younger. We have Gretchen and Derrick going back to college (?), but Derrick's twin sister opening a shop, so they have to be older than normal college age?
Furthermore, the plots, what there was of them, seemed to be skiing, more skiing, and then whatever was to happen between the protagonists. For someone who has never been on a pair of skis in her life, this was difficult to follow at times (and to be honest, to be really interested in). Especially Lori's story had a somewhat different main plot, to an extent, near the end, so had Gretchen's, so maybe that is why I liked those more.
Regarding the narration style, I sometimes thought the stories were written by two different authors, as apart from the events being narrated by the female protagonist in all five novels, the styles seemed to differ.
All of them could use a very thorough spell and grammar check, unfortunately, and that was another thing that put me off a bit.
On the whole, though, we have somewhat juvenile, but quite likeable protagonists, a good narration, and more or less, if sometimes not plausible, plots to follow, so all in all I quite liked these stories. Not sure I would like to read more of this bunch, though.

When the ex boyfriend, reappears, telling him of their child. Decisions, she can make in business, but what about the heart, an old love or the new love. Enjoyable as all her stories are.Have read these separately and glad to see them in a box set. This one was a favorite of mine. Enjoyable to read and reread them.

The series starts out a little strange gets better & then down right frustrating. Idk if it was the author or the publisher who decided on the main character story for each book. But please tell me why I had to read 6 books in a series that was supposed to be 5 before I find out wtf is up with Megan… Also the lack of a real back story for any character except Ruby & Nika is crazy. Idk I read it, I’m not mad I did, but it could’ve been so much better.

5 Contemporary Romances that I Really Enjoyed!
A set of five books all about Breckenridge Colorado and the ski people that live there and their love lives. I enjoyed all of these stories and read them consecutively without ready any other books. I recommend them to those who appreciate contemporary romances.. They were really enjoyable.

Fun 5 book series of mid twenties to early 30s focused around ski instructors in Breckenridge. My favorites are 1, 3 and 5 was the best in my opinion because these characters have been featured in the previous 4 books.
Won't reread because the MCs are too young, but I did enjoy it knowing to expect the insecurities these young ages face.
