Greyson Fox, the man, the myth, the legend. The highly sought after, self-proclaimed permanent bachelor. Or so the rumor mill goes. Sure, I’ve heard it all – but the one that stung the most was being called a heartless bastard. Love ‘em and leave ‘em, that one in particular I found to be the most humorous since only one man had ever shared my bed more than once, and he’d long since passed away.

I wasn’t the heartless bastard they all proclaimed me to be, but life had a way of kicking me in the teeth…Repeatedly, so I shut my heart off.

For years I thrived, building my empire and living by my own rules. Until one day, the walls came crashing down around me.

Potential trigger warning:
This book contains brief descriptions of human sex trafficking, as well as two mentions of sexual abuse, including a brief description of oral abuse and an attempted sexual assault. There is some physical abuse by the syndicates hands and a drug overdose so if those are trigger points this may not be the book for you.

DNF at 44%. This was so boring. I kept skimming and hoping it would get better. The grammar was terrible and it was all telling. I just couldn’t take it anymore. This was my first book by this author and it will be my last. I always feel bad trashing someone else’s work when I can’t write a book of my own, but you like what you like.

Greyson Fox, the man, the myth, the legend. The highly sought after, self-proclaimed permanent bachelor. Or so the rumor goes. Sure, I’ve heard it all, but the one that stung the most was being called a heartless bastard. Love "em" and leave "em", that one in particular I found to be the most humorous since only one man had ever shared my bed more than once, and he’d long since passed away. I wasn’t the heartless bastard they all proclaimed me to be, but life had a way of kicking me in the teeth…repeatedly, so I shut my heart off. This entire story was such an emotional journey, a story about a boy who had lost everything... found it and lost it again. At that point he then decided to just shut the world away...over and out...absolutely DONE! Daniel was his "everything" and Greyson had learned that life had a cruel way of taking your "everything" away.

I quickly became completely immersed in Greyson's story. Your heart will break for the difficult life he has had. He was alone at a very young age. There was the happenstance meeting between him and Daniel. A really sweet and loving event in Greyson's life. They started out as two strangers, but would become so very, very much more. You could feel their connection almost immediately. Perhaps that was because we had seen some of what Daniel's life had been before meeting Greyson. This is Greyson's story but it's somewhat, also the story of those that "shaped" him, especially Daniel, his first love... the man who captured Greyson's heart; was such a major part of his life; that taught him to love and trust again...they all demand to be "heard" also. Telling their stories gives the first part of the book a different "felling" than the remainder of Greyson's story...because he will become, not a bad, but a different man.

We're quickly fast forwarded to the present day, and several years into Greyson's life....and we meet Samuel. Although I liked that Greyson was with Samuel, but it didn't seem to have the same intense connection that he had shared with Daniel. They were attracted to one another, and we learned why there was some hurt feelings after their "one-night stand", but when they found each other again, almost by accident two years later, it didn't feel that there was the same chemistry between them. Vulnerability seemed to be a major part of Greyson's make-up throughout his life with both of his partners, Daniel and Samuel. I thought that the love he had had for Daniel was and always would be stronger despite his declaration of love he had made to Samuel later on in the story.

We learned a lot of Daniel's history, but we didn't get much of Samuel's, so that made him seem a bit more of a stranger. Later on, when we go and meet Samuel's family, we can better understand his struggles concerning his sexuality, especially with his parents...but I just never got the feeling that I really "knew" him.

I would and should, be the last person on Earth to ever tell a successful author how to write a book...but honestly the human trafficking plot felt like such an entirely unnecessary part of this already wonderful story. It was like it had been an "after thought" that was pulled out of the air and inserted... just unnecessary. Greyson Fox alone, was enough of a complicated character for us. Taking us further into his thoughts and emotions could have filled this book entirely without anything else ever needing to be added.

I would be the first to say that this book diffidently would have/should have, received 5 big, fat, beautiful stars. I settled, I will admit reluctantly, on a lower rating of 4.5 stars, not because of the human trafficking plot that I mentioned above, but because of the almost overwhelming heart-breaking event that took place in Daniel's part of the book. That really for some reason, affected me more than I ever would have realized. When you consider the years of difference in age between Greyson & Daniel, I knew early on, that it was a possibility. In spite of that, I really did thoroughly enjoy this story. I have read and own more of TL Travis's books and am certainly looking forward to much more of her work.

An emotional journey about a boy who lost everything, found and lost again, and decided to shut the world out... just over and out.

Without spoiling I want to try to explain a bit of this story.
It started somewhat nice, and sweet and lovely and funny and sexy as hell. Until. The world ended again for Greyson. It was heartbreaking.

Greyson is a fighter and with a cold heart he does what he had to do. And there I hoped to see some deeper feelings from Daniel... but no... he stayed how he decided to be.
With the help from his friends he build up his imperium. He also found an outlet to go through the pain and anger... but still... no emotions attached to anyone... until...

I read somewhere that the author really put her heart into this one. I can agree with that. Dedicated to make this an emotional story. We can follow Greyson from a young adult to decades further. It has a lot of story and it was for me on the edge of too much. I think I expected a somewhat other experience. More rough and raw. It was kind of sweet... But I loved it anyway.

Kindly received an ARC from the author

Could have been....

In my opinion, the story started off really well, unfortunately after Chapter 7 I felt like it sped up too quickly. It felt more like insta-love fantasy book. I loved how the history between Grey and Daniel was set up and wished that Grey and Samuel’s time could of flowed just as nicely. As for the trigger warnings, it happens near the end of the book and os only talked about as ‘a fact’ and ‘after the fact’ if that helps anyone. All in all, it was a nice read and I will most likely move onto the next book in the series.

Let me start off that this is my first book by this author and definitely will not be my last. She pulled me right in from the first page.

Greyson is a one time only kinda guy. No repeats and no relationships. His heart has a cage so tight around it there is no opening it. Or is there?

One day Greyson meets his match when he meets the man that makes him feel again.

My heart goes out to Greyson because of his history and such sadness and heart break in his past. I don’t blame him for erecting that cage to protect himself. My heart truly broke for him for all he went through.

Once he meets the man that he can’t stop thinking about he learns that he deserves love and shouldn’t be alone.

I loved Greyson. He is a strong man to have been through what he was and to be willing to open himself up again. He is protective and has two of the best friends I think a guy can have.

Check out the book. You will feel the love shared , heart break, and see a man that takes a chance at love again.

3-3.5 stars. My first book by this author and it was a good read that could have been so much better. The writing was good and there are some beautiful, emotional scenes, but the story tended to jump around a bit. I had a couple of issues with it as it really didn’t play out as I anticipated from the blurb (which in hindsight, could have been a bit more detailed), and it also took a bit of an odd turn that seemed out of place. It’s told in 2 parts, young Greyson and older Greyson. I’m going to read book #2 Forgive Me Father and see where it takes me.

I have entirely too many Mixed emotions about Greyson Fox.

On one hand the story was there but on the other I felt like it was entirely too rushed for what it was. We're talking about a guy's life story in less than 200 pages. Some of the details were there but a lot of it was glossed over which honestly bothered me.

The first part of the story had so much emotion compared to the second part of the book which was also emotional but in a completely different way. I felt like we got to see Grey fall in love with Daniel and how their story wove together from start to finish but with Samuel it was like one meeting and their whole story was already written.

Don't get me wrong, I did thoroughly enjoy it, but I wanted so much more. That could just be a me thing more than a story thing. This could have been a five-star book if there just would have been MORE!!

This is an enjoyable read, though the cover doesn't do any justice for Greyson Fox. He's only 40 half of the story.
The earlier half was when he's 20-ish with his first real relationship.
He met Samuel when he's 38 for a one night of a heated hook up. Two years later, fate let them met and the 'real' story of Greyson and Samuel begun.
Greyson Fox is a fluffy cheesy sweet story with a little twist near the end, I didn't complaint about that.
But overall, though it's slightly enjoyable, the story wasn't really memorable.
I think it's an okay read. Nice to try this if you're a fan of the author.

A Joyfully Jay review.

2.5 stars

I fear I may be in the minority with this book. First off, I feel I should address the trigger warnings at the end of the blurb. The warnings ended up being rather confusing to me primarily because the very minor and brief incidences they referred to were basically short lived, sketchily described, and glossed over quickly. I understand why the author chose to put the warnings in, but again they seemed to indicate some huge events that really never were fully described or took up much time in the story. In fact, that is probably my main complaint with this entire novel—that the story was told to us with large amounts of passive prose that described what had happened or was happening without engaging the reader in the action. We “heard” about the things that affected Greyson in his early years rather than experience them with him. We heard about what happened to Samuel, but never really got to see it first hand, nor were we directly involved in the situations as they played out. Instead, we were given some minor details after the fact. As a result, the story was slow, with long passages where I wanted to move on and get to the meat of the story, rather than just hear about it.

Read Sammy’s review in its entirety here.

♡🌟(¸.•♥´🌟Greyson Fox, the man, the myth, the legend.

No sparkle, no frills, just temptation in these pages.

You know how sometimes you hear the hype and it doesn't live up to what is being dished out? Today, I took the time to pick up TL Travis's newest that's about to hit the market and all the hype has been squelched, because, hand to God, this book is fabulous!

This author poured out all the feels in this novel. She went old school and got the readers invested in the promotion, then dropped it like it's hot and did not disappoint. The whole idea of telling a story is to draw the clients in and to never want to let go.

I am so wrapped around this book, it has wormed its way into my top ten of 2018. I fell in love with Greyson Fox on reveal. Who doesn't like a silver fox? But then the story unfolded and I could not get enough. Grey just wasn't the man everyone thought. His layers were not even deep. Here was a man who had loved and lost time and time again, and without even knowing, had lost his heart to a fiery Irishman.

Samuel came into Grey's life at the time he needed relief. The dancer/marketing graduate had no way of knowing what life had in store for them. Two years onward, Samuel was a dancer at Grey's club and unforgiving in attitude considering how they had parted. But when an ugly situation appeared, it will take not so blood family to right the wrongs and restore the balance.

I know I will be returning to this story again. It just thugs at my lil heart string. Sometimes, it just takes something small to open your imagination and see the beauty of love. I encourage you to my #one-click challenge. You won't be disappointed.

I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author.

This is the first time I"ve read this author and it won't be the last. From the very start, the story pulled me in. It was an emotional roller coaster as the reader follows Greyson from a young age to an older man. There are parts that could be triggers for some so read with caution and heed the warnings in the blurb. I have to be honest and admit that the cover pulled me in because Wander is one of my favorite models but the story kept me going. It was riveting. I HIGHLY recommend this book.

Reader beware. This is a very emotional book. Knowing TL Travis on a very close personal level, I can tell you that she really put her heart into this book. Literally. This book was written under a extremely short deadline, but you would think by reading it that it was a story TL Travis had been working on for a very long time. I do know that TL was extremely excited to write this one as she had the honor to meet the cover model in person.

I can’t recommend TL Travis enough. I have read everything this author has written and there has not once ever been disappointment. From her very first book to now 2 years later, Grayson Fox, I have watched her come a long way. I am honored to know TL Travis on a personal level and can’t say enough how proud of her I am at how far she has come. Being labeled a Best Selling Author doesn’t come close to describing her.

Make sure to check out her other books. You won’t regret it.

Meh. The cover was disappointingly misleading -- based on the cover model for the titular character, I was expecting the protagonist to be in his early sixties, but the "contemporary" period for the book places him at shy of 40. I'm fond of stories featuring older protagonists, so that was disappointing.

The copy-editing on this novel was poor. Not unreadable, but unprofessional; the publisher seems to have a large stable of titles, so it's particularly disappointing to find such poor quality proofing from a legitimate publisher. For me it was thoroughly distracting and threw me out of the voice of the novel to the point where it just became funny.

The story itself was an exercise in tell-not-show. There wasn't a plot device for why the protagonist was giving you the long, rambling story of his life, so it sort of felt like a guy that sits next to you at a bar and won't shut up while you're caught somewhere between irritated and amused. The latter half was filled with mundane sexual and romance tropes, and I think the point where I was supposed to get excited that the protagonist met someone new was where I ended up starting the eye-rolls.

There's a lot going on here, and yet I came away thinking just how thin everything was. The characterization, the plot, the basic research into the protagonist's profession. The set-up. The magical wealth. Even when the characters were doing things I liked -- the emphasis on not-for-profit activity in the LGBTQ community was a nice, somewhat random touch -- it felt like paper dolls rather than three-dimensional characters.

After the romance binge I've been on the last month, it's not surprising to encounter mediocre works. Trying a new author is always a crapshoot.

3.5 star review by The Blogger Girls.

This turned out a bit different than I was expecting. We know who Greyson is and then the story backtracks and shows us what happened to make him that way. The first part of the story is about Greyson’s first significant relationship. When tragedy strikes, it changes Greyson who copes by pouring himself into work and closing himself off into the person we met present day. When it catches up, Greyson is no longer a submissive young man, but a more jaded dominant man. I found it quite interesting how he changed gears so significantly, but perhaps it simply came down to circumstance.

The second half of the story is a current day relationship where Greyson has found someone who he cares enough about to open up and allow himself another chance at love. About 3/4 of the way through, I was wondering if I was reading the right book, as it really didn’t seem to be following what I read in the blurb, or I should say, the potential trigger warning, nor could I see how it was going to get there. It eventually does, but I wouldn’t worry too much about it, as there aren’t many actual details, though we know what has happened.

I think the way this story was told, and the expectations not quite matching up with regard to the blurb/warnings, pulled me out of the story a bit here and there. I loved the beginning, and almost wish the whole story was about that relationship, but there were things I enjoyed about the second one as well. While those things prevented me from being blown away by this story, I still enjoyed it quite a bit and will not hesitate to give this author another look.

Be forewarned that Greyson Fox by TL Travis is an extremely emotional ride. The amount of loss suffered at such a young age is astounding. However, Greyson is also one of the strongest men you will ever encounter. Sit back, have the tissues ready, and immerse yourself in this captivating journey.

Greyson Fox is a complex person. As TL unfolds his story to us we gain insight into “the man, the myth, the legend”. The cards dealt Greyson a lousy hand; a past filled with suffering created a strong, extremely successful businessman, but sadly a gorgeous hunk who has a “no repeats” mentality.

It takes Samuel McAuliffe to shatter the walls Greyson has built around his heart. With his own baggage, Samuel ends up in the sights of one unsavory character, leading Greyson to embark on a quest to protect and save him, giving Greyson reason to fully live again.

The drama unfolds by switching back and forth between the past and the present; this technique expertly enlightening us with Greyson’s complete story. Everything wraps up in the end and we are left with a complete and satisfying picture, without any loose ends left for use to interpret.

There is more to Greyson Fox than this stories blurb could ever convey, and I’m leaving it for you to discover. We navigate pain, suffering, heartache, and human atrocities, that harden this man. On the flip side, we maneuver success, love, and another set of horrors that soften him.

I highly recommend Greyson Fox. But again, be forewarned you are in for an emotional ride. There are triggers outlined by TL Travis that you may want to review ahead of time, and should you choose to proceed, this is one of those books that resonates in your mind long after completing the last page.

This book was amazing! I have to say that it had me screaming and crying all at once. How much pain can a man endure? How much bad stuff can one person take before shutting themselves off and becoming afraid to let anyone in? Well this is Greyson's story and it is told so well> i could feel everything that he went through and when his heart broke so did mines. I was so engrosed in this story that by the middle of the story I was rooting for Greyson to get his HEA.

When Greyson meets Daniel things start to change for him. He starts to think that he may have a chance of happiness but he is still protective of his heart. SO he takes it slowly and when he and Daniel connect he knows he has to let him in but will he? Will he take a chance on love again? Will he let go of the past and move on to the future?

This is one amazing second chance romance you must read!

OMG!! SOOO GOOD

Greyson Fox is an EXTRAORDINARY character. I fell SO in love with Greyson, that I couldn't put this book down. This story has moving heart felt deep love of family. Deep down doubts, life long insecurities and pain. Finding true love where you lease expect it, when you never wanted it. The characters in this book are MAGNIFICENTLY written with a careful hand for maximum impact. Samuel was a true, BEAUTIFUL gift in this AMAZING story. I bow down to ANY author who can write an EPILOGUE, let alone a good one. TL Travis wrote an EPILOGUE show stopper. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!!!!

Second chance at love

Greyson Fox met the man of his dreams early in life. He couldn’t of asked for anything more. Then he lost him and closed down his heart. When he got a second chance at that kind of love with Samuel he grabbed it with both hands.

I enjoyed this book a lot. I met the model on the cover and even though he was younger in the beginning of the book I still had a face to relate to.

Intense

Of course I'll read anything written by Travis, and I am so glad that I read "Greyson Fox". The minute I read the lines (from Greyson himself) "Rule number one, no repeats. Rule number two, never sleep with someone who works for me," I knew this story was just starting to get interesting, and I wasn't wrong. Greyson prides himself on being cold and dark, but that is just one side of him. He is guarded and mysterious. The backstory of his childhood that he shares with the readers, gives more depth to the story and shows the hows and whys he is where he is and what he is. At least what he believes he is. Erotic and definitely steamy, filled with a lot of emotions. A wonderful MM erotica romance, that's so much more than sex, it's heart, as well. This story is narrated by the main character, written in first person, which would be a completely different story if told in another point of view. He talks about his loves, loss and how he coped with sex, until he found the one who ... and that's all I'm saying. It was definitely an intense page-turner.

Greyson Fox is my first from TL Travis and I truly enjoyed the author's writing. I was fully immersed in Greyson's story right from the start and that doesn't always happen with a book that I go in blindly. My heart broke for his hard life and being alone at such a young age. The happenstance meeting between he and Daniel was a really sweet and loving. Two strangers who would become so much more, I felt their connection almost immediately. And perhaps it's because we got some of Daniel's life before Grey. Yes, this is Greyson's story but those who capture his hardened heart should have their lives exposed a bit as well. And I found that to be true with Daniel.

Fast forwarding to the present, although I liked Greyson with Samuel, I didn't feel the same intense connection that I did with Daniel. I understood why they were attracted to each other and why there was some hurt after their one-night stand. But as they find each other again, almost by accident two years later, I still didn't get the chemistry between them. I liked the vulnerability that seeped out of Greyson throughout his life with both Daniel and now Samuel. But I still felt his love for Daniel was stronger despite his declaration to Samuel late in the book.

Not getting Samuel's history made him a stranger of sorts. It's only later on that we meet his family and understand his struggles at being gay, while with his parents. But I never felt as if I knew him. In addition, the whole subplot concerning human trafficking felt misplaced and kind of unnecessary. My feelings are that Greyson Fox is a complicated character and delving even further into his thoughts and emotions would have filled this book completely for me. I honestly didn't need any more than that, especially since his intensity is quite large and engaging.

But, I will say I enjoyed this story for the most part and look forward to exploring the Author's back archive of work. She knows M/M quite well it seems and I'm always looking for a good one to read.

First thing first, this cover is gorgeous and very fitting for the image I got of Greyson in my mind, although he kind of looks older than the forty-something he's supposed to be.

The book tells Greyson's story since he was young, showing the reasons for him not dating anyone and denying himself the chance of loving (and losing) someone again. Of course, even if Greyson is determined not to love again, he meets a gorgeous, younger man and after spending the best night of his life with him, Greyson ends up running away from him, even if he can't forget about him. Two years later, fate brings them back together, and Greyson decides to win Samuel over, but someone else has his sights set in Samuel, as well.

Frankly, I thought this book was going to be somewhat darker, because of all the warnings, and while yes, I could see why they were there, it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. Vague, much? LOL Anyway, the first half of the story was a bit slow, a lot of telling and not that much showing. Still, I liked seeing how Daniel and Greyson met and how their relationship progressed. They were sweet together, even if Greyson didn't really have the chance to explore the dominant side of his sexuality with Daniel. And then we have Samuel, who was pretty much the opposite to Daniel, a younger, sexy, little thing with all that righteous anger directed at Greyson after the way he ran away after their passionate encounter. It was refreshing to see Greyson pursuing Samuel and I thought they had a lot of chemistry. I would've liked that Greyson had to grovel some more to Samuel, but it worked well in the end, since we got to see more tender, passionate, intense moments between the two.

I liked to see Butch, Keegan and Greyson working together to protect Samuel, and I wanted to slap some sense into Samuel when he put himself in harm's way, although at least he accepted it had all been his fault, so there's that. The case was interesting and it made the second half of the story flow better.

Overall, Greyson Fox was an enjoyable read, entertaining and sexy. I wouldn't mind reading Keegan's story, I have a feeling he'd be a fascinating character. Recommendable!

Greyson Fox is only 5 when his father was accidentally killed and 19 when his mother passes away from cancer. He and his mother didn’t have a lot but Greyson never complained. A year after his mother’s death, Greyson is barely scrapping by and is at the cemetery when he meets a man named Daniel, who is there visiting his late partner. Daniel feels bad for Greyson so he invites him out for dinner. He learns that Daniel is 35 and isn’t sure if what they are on is considered a date, because while Greyson is gay, he’s never been on a date before. Daniel likes Greyson and they have a strong connection so they decide to start dating. They move in together, and Greyson also starts helping and working at the bar/night club that Daniel owns. Greyson loves Daniel and Daniel loves Greyson but the demons inside of Greyson always seem to make him think that he’s not good enough for him, he’s too young, he’s not experienced enough and Daniel is better off without him. However, Daniel shows nothing but love and support for the 5 years they are together until tragedy strikes. Daniel shows his love one last time by leaving everything to Greyson. Daniel had plans to expand his buildings and business, and Greyson finishes his last wishes by getting the work completed and becoming the owner. Greyson doesn’t want to find love again because every person he’s loved has passed away and he can’t deal with the heartbreak again. However, one encounter makes him question if it is time to open himself up and let someone into his heart again.
I really loved this story. I loved Greyson and Daniel’s relationship so much. It is a little “instalove” but it really seems like these characters do love each other. It’s very short so I got through it quickly. The emotional moments are done very well. There were moments where I was laughing one minute and crying the next. Overall I cared so much for this story, enjoyed it a lot, and the ending was so beautiful.

Ok so this one has violence not a lot but a bit. An almost rape, kidnapping, and talks of a kidnapping ring. If any of that is a trigger, please take care.
Beyond that, this was a hell of a book. It deals a lot with loss and coming to terms with it. Well, trying to anyway. Everyone deals with loss in their own way.
Greyson met Daniel at the cemetery. Daniel was visiting his partner's grave and Grayson his mom's. Grayson couldn't take his eyes off of him. They ended up meeting and starting a relationship. Dating and such. The relationship ended up being so much more. Grayson was so in love. Daniel was Grayson's first everything. When Grayson lost Daniel due to a family emergency heart attack, Grayson was lost and closed himself off. Until meeting Samuel in one night stand. Heck, they didn't even know each other's names. Grayson never forgot him. Samuel was the only one to crack that she'll around his heart. But he had no way to find him. Until 2 years later, Samuel is working in his club as a dancer. Grayson is determined not to break his word and date an employee but Samuel was too far in his heart. Samuel felt the same way. And they finally decided to date. But someone wanted Samuel in a bad way and ended up taking Samuel to sell him with others. Grayson just hopes he can get him back alive and quick to tell him he loves him and live their life together.
I felt so bad for Grayson. He felt so cursed. Everything that meant something in his life seemed to leave him. That's why he closed himself off for so long. Sex was just sex. You didn't need a heart for that. I was so overjoyed when Samuel breeched it. Samuel was everything Grayson needed. Even when he didn't know it.
Samuel needed Grayson just as bad. He hadn't lost anyone but Grayson filled a void no one else came close to. He tried to fight it too but alas, lol. Love smacked them both.
This was such a good book. I think you guys will enjoy it.

The story had more going on than I expected.

Greyson Fox is the first book I've read by TL Travis and I'm afraid it was just an OK read for me. I honestly might have stopped reading it after the first few chapters but I promised to read it so I kept on going. I'm actually glad that I didn't give up on it as it got better the further I got into the story.

There's a lot more going on in the book than the blurb led me to believe. The first eight chapters deal with Greyson's past and the remaining chapters are in the present day. Greyson had a lot of hard times as a kid and then he was taken in by the man who would help him discover things about himself that he really hadn't explored. To say much more would give too much of the story away.

The book really became interesting to me when it got to the present day. There's a bit of mystery, danger and we also get to see who Greyson has become and how he got to where he is.

I loved the cover for this book but it's a bit misleading (which may not be the author's fault). I thought the story was going to be about an older man – maybe in his late 40's or even older. Yes, I know some men go gray early but the cover and the blurb certainly led me to believe that Greyson would be older than his late 30's.

As I said, the last half of the book held my interest and I'm not sorry that I spent my day reading it. The writing didn't flow well for me but it could be that I just need to get used to this author's style. I wouldn't rule out reading more by TL Travis.

My apologies to the author for being a bit late with this review. Real life sometimes gets in the way. ☹

An advanced copy of this book was provided to me by Signal Boost Promotions but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.

I had the pleasure of reading “Forgive Me, Daddy” prior to this one since it was an ARC without realizing it was the second book in the “Greyson Fox Saga” series. That book was heart wrenching and a wonderful book! I just decided to read Greyson Fox which was the first book and I am so glad I did! I also had the pleasure of having both paperbacks signed by the author! Thank you!

This book was a wonderful reading for me! I could not stop devouring the story…turning pages quickly because I wanted to find out what happened to one of the characters! For this story, we followed Greyson Fox, Daniel, and Samuel (two stories in one) and we were introduced to the two minor characters which became the MCs in the 2nd book. I have enjoyed the author’s other books and this one did not disappoint one iota for me! Definitely more than 5 stars reading! The two books have been put in my “To Be Read Again!” pile for sure!!!!

The story first focuses on Greyson, a young man who was visiting his mother’s grave when he spied this older male sitting on a bench. He started talking with Daniel and they stayed there for a while. It turns Daniel was mourning his lover and had a nightclub among different properties that he was handling for his dead lover. That was the beginning of a relationship between them. Then we find Greyson meeting Samuel and had a tryst and he left Samuel with some money for gas but nothing more. A couple years passed before Samuel happened to be interviewed for a job at Greyson’s nightclub. That’s where I’m going to stop and have you pick up the book to read to find out what happens to Daniel, Greyson, and Samuel! You’ll be introduced to Jamie and Butch.

4.25-4.5 stars

A delightful surprise. I was not prepared for there to be two complete relationships in this story and when I realized there most likely would be, I wasn’t sure how I would feel about it.

This book was very well written (although I did find a few editing errors, mostly a missing word in a few places). I really enjoyed Greyson’s relationship with both Daniel and then with Samuel.
