Tsukasa Fushimi (伏見つかさ, Fushimi Tsukasa) is a Japanese-born light novel writer and the creator of the Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai light novel series.
De los entre los tres ejemplares que he leído este es el que me ha gustado más, irónicamente son los personajes secundarios Ayase, Kuroneko y Manami quienes con sus actuaciones hacen la historia y divertida.
Volume 3 has a story about Manami, Kyousuke's life-long friend, whose interest in Kyousuke obviously goes beyond friendship. Also, the gang goes to a Comic con type of convention. Good enough for four stars.
I'm actually...very impressed with this ending. No, seriously. What started out as this silly little siscon of a manga ended on a very strong moral argument that I just was not expecting - not that that's necessarily a bad thing.
I won't spoil the details, but basically, the entire concept of lolicon in general is called into question in this final novel. The line between fantasy and reality is explored, the role of the media in warping our interpretations of certain groups of people is mentioned, and best of all, nobody is villainized for whatever side they choose to take. It could have been so easy for this mangaka to strawman anti-otakus, but he doesn't. He gives them justifiable reasons for being wary, and gently provides some reasons as to why they may not be totally right. It's pretty amazing.
I'm sad that it had to end so soon - twenty seven chapters is really nothing - but it was fun while it lasted.
I have to say I enjoyed more this book than the previous ones. Maybe it was because I felt in love with Ayase (I just love her character, the way she's drawn, her cuteness, etc.), maybe it was the way Kyosuke was written this time (more mature, better written, etc.) but at the end I felt like going backwards again. I'll keep the three stars rating like the previous two books because at least I enjoyed it. Should I get Kuroneko's spin-off or is the same thing all over again?
