Wow this is the newest book by the amazing Ashton Blackthorne & Drew Sera, Descent.
When I picked this book up I couldn't put it down from page one I had me, this story shows the pain people go through who have endured more horrible things than most should.
As I was read I want to cry you could really feel Leda's pain with how well this book was written. This book involves heavy scenes in BDSM, sexy talk, sex, and dark themes.
Leda has just moved in with her best fiend and her boyfriend hoping having her own space will help her. Leda has been visiting BDSM clubs in the city but having listened to her friend go on about Seven for years she's finally getting to go as a guest. When Leda arrives she finds a scene she is heavily drawn to, but when her friends see who the sexy man was they tell her to stay away from him.
Colt likes no needs to inflict pain whilst playing or having sex it's what excites him the fear in a partners eyes does things to him. When he spots Leda on initiation night at Seven sat on her own he goes to her and she intrigues him.
What starts out as a quite coffee turns into more, will Colt finally find the one woman to go through his Seven circles or will Leda be like the rest.
Come on Colt and Leda's journey as they explore Colt's darker world and find out if he's the one to finally give Leda what she needs.
This is an awesome start to the new series The Inferno Series can't wait for what's to come next.

What a treat from my two fav authors. What do you get when you combine two people with dark past history? You get explosive chemistry and darkness! This is a fabulous story of Colt, head Dom of exclusive club SEVEN, and "damaged" Leda. Both of them have abusive and dark pasts. Leda goes to SEVEN as an Initiate. These two lost, dark souls believe they are damaged one way or another. Their chemistry is scorchingly hot! Club SEVEN is not like any club she has been to before. Colt tries his very best to get Leda through the seven steps into Initiation. Will he break Leda as he's done so many others? Or will Leda and Colt help each other out of the dark? This is a MUST READ! BDSM mixed with SEVENs own unique set of rules, makes this book steamy, hot, sexy and thrilling! I can't wait for more from this series!☆☆5 stars ☆☆

But, as you've come to expect from Ashton Blackthorne and Drew Sera, these aren't all fun and wickedness. You'll cry, cheer, gasp, and hurt for the enigmatic Colt and the strong beautiful Leeds just as much as you'll squirm, bite your lip, and rub your thighs together over their incendiary sexual chemistry.

First let me say this is not a book about the BDSM lifestyle. This book is a dark & twisted BDSM fantasy where no rules apply except those of Seven. Seven is a different kind of BDSM club, that plays by it's own kinky set of of custom rules. Colt is THE Master Dom of Seven, as was every generation of his family back to his Great Grandfather. Colt is a man who has been searching for the sub who's need for pain matches his need to dispense it. At 38 years old he has yet to find her, until Leda comes to Seven on a guest pass. Watching their relationship develop had me up literally all night because once I started reading I could not stop. if your not afraid of the dark, dive in. The waters are murky and deep and you never know what may be lurking under the surface.

🔥🔥🔥OMG, That all I have to say.. Wow.. I was lucky to be able to read the ARC of Decent and Loved it.. Wow Ashton and Drew sure nows how to make you turned on.. Loving forward to read more to this series. I don't want t9 give to much away since it has not been released yet.. I now one thing is I call Colt as my new book boyfriend.. I am also going to buy this when it released.. 🔥🔥🔥

Wow, what an incredible book. Descent by Ashton Blackthorne and Drew Sera, is very dark and at times I flinched or cringed, but I could not stop reading once I had started. The characters are flawed but the child abuse is all too recognizable and unfortunately, far too common. The writing makes one feel, instead of pity for Colt and Leda,compassion and a constant need to heal them. I look forward to the following book (s).

Descent is a BDSM themed book with some panty melting 🔥 scenes in it but could have some triggers in it...however the story is one that will keep you on the edge of your seat, longing to find out what these two amazing authors reveal next! Drew Sera and Ashton Blackthorne did an amazing job collaborating on Descent! I can not wait to read the rest of the Inferno series! I highly reccommend reading Descent!

I'm not very good at writing reviews. That being said, Ashton Blackthorne and Drew Sera's collaboration on "Descent" the Inferno Series is a must read for anyone who needs to be taken to the edge every now and then.

Leda, abused from the age of nine or ten by her grandfather thinks she is already broken. So much so, she feels that when she feels pleasure, she must also feel pain. It's the only way she knows how to alleviate the guilt.
Together, Colt and Leda begin a very dark journey of trying to heal each other. I cannot wait for the rest of the books in the Inferno Series...

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Descent, the first collobaration between Ashton Blackthorne and Drew Sera, and this is my freely given, honest review.
I have read works by both of these authors and I had very high hopes when I received a copy of Descent. I was not disappointed. Descent is a dark, BDSM-themed novel that introduces us to Colt and Leda. Through reading, we get glimpses of both their pasts, and the events that molded them into the people they are when we meet them in the book.
As I read, I found myself empathizing with Leda and her frustration with not being able to find that one person who could fullfil a need she had that is an integral part of who she is as a person. Though that need may have gotten it's start from traumatic events as a child, it is still a part of her. She is a hard core masochist and she needs a hard core Sadist to fill that void in her life.
Colt is a man who has such a dark past that it has shaped him in a way that others seem him as damaging. This attitude is present whenever Leda mentions Colt to her best friend, Chastity, and Chastity's Dom, Wade. However, the darkness in Colt draws her in like a moth to a flame. He hs a hard core Sadist in need of a hard core masochist who can handle the kind of play he needs.
When Colt and Leda finally come together, to say it is explosive would be putting it lightly. Their chemistry is off the charts and when Colt finally breaks down her walls and gets Leda to voice how she truly feels about the one who abused her as a child, though his means of doing so may seem harsh to an outsider, it was exactly what she needed.
Descent is the first book in The Inferno Series and I, for one, look forward to seeing the wild, dark journey Ashton Blackthorne and Drew Sera take their readers on!

Leda is a your girl that was abused by her grandfather for years. Leda is still having issues with it and harming her self. Leda has a friend that has been there for her and they have moved in. Her friend is dating a Dominant and is a private club. One night Leda went with her friend on the night that the Doms pick a sub to work with. Colt seen Leda after she has been picked.
Colt was abused when he was young and this is his way of working out his dark issues. Colt is the top Dom at Club Seven and has issues trying to find the right women for him. Tell he sees Leda after his scene. Talks to Leda and sees that there is darkness in Leda.
This book is to in the POV form and is very dark story that will have u understanding each person lifestyle and what is running through their minds. Holy cow!!! I have literally just finished this book and I am struggling to catch my breath! I have devoured this book in an afternoon.....I could not put it down!
Descent is a collaboration between two authors, Ashton Blackthorne and Drew Sera.....and it is absolutely seamless.....a sign of a truly amazing collaboration.
I don't even know where to start with this review!.....I don't want to give anything away but this book drew me in from the first page, the characters draw you in, holding you fast...... my heart split in two for Leda and what she had experienced at the hands of her Grandfather, who sees herself as broken.......Colt......Lord, what do I say about this man?!
I cannot wait to see where this is going to go, my mind and emotions are in a complete whirl.

This was a new approach for me…
Think that this was truly my first real BDSM book and i like it. I’m not in the BDSM world and really like how they show that BDSM is not all about “sex”.
MCs are deep, broken, troubled, Colt is a a-hole sometimes.

Descent - 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 hot and dark
I was not expecting this kind of reading and it was all that it promised.
Read it and still need to know more... this book starts with Cole and Leda each having flash backs throughout the story about their dark up bringing.
Cole is to inherit Seven. He is the Master Dom. Generation of Dome and a very exclusive club. He likes to inflict pain.
Leda is invited by her friend Chastity and her friends boyfriend Wade. They can't even understand what she is looking for and Cole might be just the person to give it to her. After many warnings from Wade and Chastity, Leda just follows her gut and eventually becomes Cole Initiate... he has never had someone complete the Seven circles and he can't wait to get her to complete them... but what do you do when you break your own rules? Accept the consequences...
WOW this is a great book. Great writing by both Ashton Blackthorne and Drew Sera. Drew you might have gained a fan.

Holy moly this book was so intense and absolutely amazing I couldn't put it down. It was the ultimate sin of what we as a group try to image being in an D/s relationship and I loves how well this book was portrayed. It gave me chills. The fact that Leda was in so much torment and pain that she needed pain to relieve herself and Colt had to deal with the same kind but if a different way. I can't wait to see that the next book has to offer.
This was a fabulous collaboration between two amazing authors that have written such great work that I feel like it's only the beginning of something so wonderful and fantastic that it will leave us wanted more stories by you. I love all the books by Ashton Blackthorne and Drew Sera as individual authors. To have two of my favorite authors come together and collaborate a hot, sexy, and emotional read like Descent I was thrilled to say the least.
Colt and Leda both have abusive pasts, and try to come to terms with them. Colt is the Master Dom of the exclusive BDSM club Seven, a club that has been passed down for over a hundred years. Leda is a woman that has tried to find just what she needs from other clubs and their "Service Tops" and still has not found the release she needs. .
I absolutely loved this book, and can't wait to see where Ashton and Drew take us in this journey in the Inferno series. A must read!!!

I am an avid reader of both Ashton Blackthorne and Drew Sera separately but put them together and ... boom!!! I couldn’t put it down , I was totally hooked from the start. The way too people, both survivors of different kinds of abusive childhoods, one of whom needs to feel pain, the other needs to give it, gravitate towards each other and could make each other whole, complete one another just made so much sense to me. Colt is dark with a softer side that people don’t see but Leda brings out in him, whilst she is treated with kid gloves became of her past but she knows what she needs and that they is a Dom like colt. I am on tenterhooks waiting for book 2

Oh em gee baby Jesus. This book was hot as hell. I love Ashton's writing and have NOW discovered and fallen in love with Drew Sera's writing as well. What an awesome collaboration between these two authors. Loved EVERY page turning, nasty word.

two of my favorite authors in one book, can you set dream come true. OMG!! this book is dark and totally hot. if you love dark tortured alpha male you'll love Colt. his darkness gives my the chills and makes me want to be at the receiving end of his flogger. The trauma that Leda experienced and her struggle to overcome her self hate is heartbreaking. the ending is to die for and makes you want to scream in frustration for the next book. ABSOLUTELY A MUST READ!!!!

This book was fantastic there are no words,these Authors minds together are deliciously dark.The club Seven,the seven circles and Colt Grantham might have found his girl to complete whats never been completed by him which he craves and longs for.Colt is as dark as they come and sometimes scary,he has his own unique way of getting the job done.Leda and Colt suffer from horrific childhoods and we get to see into the past which I liked and both are searching for that one person to complete and ease that ache that they crave.I loved the characters,the chemistry was off the charts and the whole story kept you turning page after page investing in these lost souls and I cannot wait for the conclusion

Well I wasn't expecting that.... wasn't too sure on this collaboration but by god did i get a shock. Totally loved this first book... its very dark compared to their other books but in a fantastic way. Colt and Leda have an amazing chemistry. Leda needs Colt... he is the only one that can sort her out, well try to... issues run very deep with both of them and I am hoping that they can help each other. If you want a hot as hell book... with a dark side then this is the book u need to buy. One hell of a story. Well done Ashton and Drew. Phenomenal book.

What a wonderful collabortion by Drew Sera and Ashton Blackthorne, they gave the readers another journey into BDSM/Fetish Kink, not your normal BDSM book. Bravo Drew and Sir! Did not want the book to end, can't wait until book 2 is available.

Descent: The Inferno Series # 1 by Ashton Blackthorne and Drew Sera
Inferno is a fitting name for this hot as hell series. Granted this is the first book in this series and you most definitely descent into the darkness which left this reader needing to keep dry panties handy. This series is a collaboration of two of my favorite authors and to say that this was a superb book doesn’t seem to adequately describe how great this book.
Not only was this a hot steamy read but it was fun to read the two POV of our main characters. As we read a chapter or scene the next chapter would be the other character’s view on what happened. It was awesome to get both Leda and Colt’s perspective on what is going on.
As a reader, I really enjoy dark books so this series will be a top read for me. The debauchery Leda and Colt only added to the reading experience. These two have very dark pasts that have molded them into who they are today.
We first meet Leda. She is a young woman who has moved in with her best friend Chastity and Wade (Chastity’s boyfriend). To say Leda has a dark past would be an understatement but she is trying to function the best that she can. She is searching for that Dom that will fulfill her specific need to feel. There is a feeling you get when you read about Leda that is hard to pinpoint, maybe sadness, worry, anguish or just plain feeling sorry for her. I won’t go into detail here about what her past is you will just have to read to find out.
Met Colt Alpha male (with a capital ‘A’). He has a very dark side with just as messed up past as Leda. He is successful and extremely wealthy. Did I mention he is also a Dom? He has been unsuccessful in finding a woman who can fulfill his every desire. What can be so difficult to find this woman? No one has been able to get past his 7 circles. Not going to explain this statement you will understand once you read the book.
There are many dark secrets and desires in this book. I don’t believe we know the extent of this darkens yet and we have only scratched the surface. We learn about the exclusive Seven club that both Wade and Colt belong to along with the strict code of conduct they have. Zipping my fingers right now so I don’t give too much away.
We are left hanging but satisfied that the book ended in a good place. There is so much underlying in this book that it is impossible to discuss without giving away anything. I found myself drawn in quickly to this first installment of the series and really need to second book. Just READ IT!!!!!

Hm... mixed feelings about this book. For me it was an okay read, but I didn’t loved it…. and that's probably me and not the book because it has almost only 5 star ratings.
Leda is severely damaged and broken; she was sexually and physically abused by her grandfather since she was a little girl until she was about 18. As an adult she needs pain to feel 'free'. But she can't seem to find the right person to satisfy her extreme needs.
Colt also has an abusive and dark past. His father, grandfather and great-grandfather were Master Doms and he inherited the title and the exclusive 'club' Seven. He is a sadist who needs to cause pain... a lot of pain. None of the submissives he takes on, meet his high 'standards'... until Lena. Although her friends warn Lena to stay away from Colt, they are attracted to each other. Colt understands Lena better than anyone ever has. Turns out they are perfect for each other. That part of the story I actually liked. The story isn't finished... next book planned for Winter 2018... pfff.
This book was heavy on the BDSM; I have a feeling I'm done with the pain & chains, the abusive Dominants and the happy submissive pain sluts. Those stories just don’t do it for me like they used to. So, absolutely not a bad story, just not what I'm looking for in books anymore. {4 ieniemienie sterretjuhs}
