Military life is all about following orders—until you get the order that will kill every man under your command...

Jeff Bowers has just been made a captain in the Colonial Defense Force when he is tapped for a piece-of-cake mission—lead his men to a godforsaken planet, into a den of hillbilly rebels to retrieve a kidnapped diplomat. In and out. Simple. At least that's how it seems until they get there. It's clear that they've been set up. And whoever is giving the orders does not seem to be on their side...

Splat!

No Okie dokie Beginning here fer da Soldier. When finally the Wakee Wakee reset of consciousness returns the questions cascade on da WHY! Having survived the political setup in the ambush of his team in attempting rescue of the ambassador from dissidents has consequences. A Comeuppance fer the planners.
Splat would be the better alternative.

Prequel

This prequel was a nice start to the series. The characters and plot were likable enough and had a few errors throughout.

An excellent story about what happens when a commander follows orders. Short but interesting.

This is a short story but you get to know what happened to Danny 30 years ago in string 310.

This is a must read before you start Oblivion Quest.

This story will tell you all the thrilling secrets between Jeff and Danny and why Jeff is scared of commanding a team.

Highly recommended 👍🏽
