Emma Tharp is the USA Today Bestselling Author of The Bluff Harbor Series, Keeping It Casual, Drawn to Dark, and the McLoughlin Brother Series. She was raised in upstate New York. Being an only child, she spent a great deal of time alone, dreaming up characters who would keep her company on long family road trips. Putting her writing on the back burner, she went to college and became a chiropractor. After spending twelve years healing patients, Emma decided—with the help of her amazingly supportive husband—to use the creative side of her brain and let her characters come to the page. If she’s not writing, Emma can be found at the gym, one of her kids sporting events, Starbucks, or a live music event. A perfect day for Emma would be spent at her lake house with her husband, two ginger-haired children, and Vizsla, reading a book and drinking a large cup of coffee (or wine) with music playing in the background.

This three book boxed set follows the tumultuous relationships of three brothers. Each one is a standalone, but the stories are richer when read together.
Trigger warnings:
Assault Death Miscarriage Abandonment White Privilege.
Characters of Colour? Precisely none, for which there is no excuse
GLITTFAB/Queer characters? Exactly Zilch. In a cast as sprawling as this, the least one could expect is a Gay Best Friend. The only thing worse than a harmful trope is total erasure, folx.
Disabled characters? Nope! There’s a bit of trauma, & some really wonderful depictions of miscarriage, but no disability.
That’s a resounding lack of consideration for what ultimately comprises the majority of people - some combination of Non-white, non-cisgendered, non-heterosexual, &/or Disabled.
Worth my time? Coming in just over 6 hours, this was… not a waste of time. It was pleasant enough, but not something that stood out or impressed me in any way.
Re-read? Only if it’s this vs Stephen King.
Recommend? To people dipping their toes into romance; those learning the different basic styles of Straight romance plots.

Moving on—Scarlette and braeden are adorable. He is honestly so perfect. Gentlemanly and dirty when needed. He is affectionate and protective and seems to ebb and flow well with her. After catching her boyfriend cheating and losing her job. She is in flux. She planned this trip with her grandmother who recently had a stroke and now can’t come. So her grandmother made her come anyway to enjoy the trip. On top of that all Braeden is scarlettes friends ex. But she is unsure of the circumstances of that ending. They seem to be perfect for each other and agree to a vacation fling. But from the beginning you could tell it was more on both sides. When tragedy strikes and she needs to leave Irelannd what will come of their connection.
All in—Jackson and Amelia have known each other for ages. Jackson being her brother, wills best friend, they practically grew up together. But bro code stipulates no sister clauses. Despite the feelings both have had for years. Then a plot twist. She suffers a loss. But so does he. And to be honest. I hated how she acted. She was horrible to him. I understand she was going through a lot but come on! He did nothing wrong. Then came to the hospital gayer she said not to. Even though she secretly wanted him to. Then avoided him and pretended he had no feelings in the stake of the loss. Like WTF? And then continually he tried to reach out to her to talk and meet. And if she graced him with her presence was just a bitch. And I hate Dora. I’ve been the best friend who has to play body guard. But I would never with old info.
Alive again—after suffering a loss Patrick is in a tailspin to get his life on track. His wife of ten years up and left without so much as a note. Leaving him with their 11 month old daughter. He needs a nanny and fast to accommodate his work schedule. Carsten and Patrick have instant chemistry. She is 11 years Younger but super mature and working to pay for school. Then multiple bombs drop and they have to figure their way back from it. Honestly ** spoiler I didn’t particularly like Carsens respond to Maggie’s return. She didn’t give him much slack. His world imploded and needed a minute to process and work things out with the mother of his child. And she seemed like the younger girl she was being slightly needy and hurt that he shut her out. Their relationship was new and his wife just returned and needed to figure things out. A 3 day hiatus of processing is not that horrible.
I have loved this series since I started reading it and have reviewed each book individually so here is a copy of those reviews MOVING ON Scarlette is taking a break in Ireland after her life starting crumbling around her She has lost her job, her grandmother has had a stroke and to top it of her boyfriend cheated on her While in Ireland she runs into Braeden McLoughlin who is there with his brothers He is the ex boyfriend of a friend so she already knows him. He is the perfect vacation fling and with no strings attached just what she needs but as emotions become involved will he become so much more. When she has to return home will they be able to walk away from one another of have they started a love affair that will last. This is a wonderful well written book that draws you in from the the first and keeps you emotionally invested till the last page

I really enjoyed reading theses three stories: "Moving On", "All In" and "Alive Again". Three stories are about the three McLoughlin Brothers: Braeden, Jackson and Patrick. All three stories have connected characters and events. However, the author does a great job making them stand alone stories. I really enjoyed all three of the these stories. It is hard to say which one is my favorite because they each have a different plot. Braeden has a reputation of being a player but Scarlette warms her way into his heart. Scarlette seems to be having a run of bad luck until she is saved by Braeden in Dublin (Ireland). Patrick, also a player, has feelings for his best friends younger sister, Amelia, but does not want to ruin his friendship. These two also run into each other in Ireland and things happen. Unfortunately, tragedy strikes the two which could destroy what has started between the two. The third story is Patricks. I the title his story could not be more fitting. Since his wife disappeared he has become a single father. He finally finds the perfect person, Carsen, to be there for his daughter. Soon feelings develop between he and Carsen until his past finds him. All three very good stories that are well written with wonderful characters. These are the first stories I have read from this author. I am very impressed with her writing style and story-telling. I cannot wait to see what she comes out with next.
Moving On - Bk 1 3 1/2* Lettie has taken the trip to Ireland as planned with her grandma before her stroke. She bumps into Braeden unexpectedly in a bar, he’s on a trip with his brothers. The two have good chemistry but he’s her friends ex & she’s just split with Mark after catching him cheating. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
All in book 2
3 1/2* Jackson is best friends with Amelia’s brother therefore uneasy in going forward with their relationship. Amelia has had feelings for Jackson for ages & a trip she takes with friends allows her to meet up with him. Can the pair admit their feelings? I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Alive again bk 3
3 1/2* Patrick is the older brother fetching up his young daughter maeve after his wife Maggie left suddenly. Carsen is the new nanny recommended by Lettie she’s younger than him but very mature for her age. She’s gorgeous a temptation he must resist but can he & should he? I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Amelia is in Ireland with friends, she has had a crush on Jackson for years he is her brothers best friend. Carson is a friend of Scarlette, and she is hired by Patrick to be the nanny. This was a great grouping of stories about three brothers who found love in such different ways. Braeden found his true love when he ran into a friend in a pub in Ireland and was able to help her. Scarlett was taking the trip she and her grandma planned but things got messy. Jackson met up with his best friends little sister first at home then when they end up in Ireland at the same time it gets physical. Patrick is the oldest, his wife walked out on him and their 6 month old daughter, he finds love with the new nanny, they finally get divorced when comes back 8 months later. 5 years later after saying he would never marry again he proposes to Carsen in Ireland at the family dinner.
Moving On, All In and Alive Again are three books in this collection that you won't want to miss by Emma Tharp. Surrounding the deliciously gorgeous McLoughlin brothers and them finding their HEA's. With great storylines and characters that I certainly liked and felt empathy towards and as for the passion - well STEAM HEAT!! Have your fans/ac in fully working order before reading these. Well written and so easy to read. These are the first books that I have read by Emma but they won't be the last. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. However, as they were so good, I purchased my own copy! Definitely recommended
A spectacular series about three brothers who share a close bond and the three women who take them by surprise. The series starts in Ireland and events trickle from there throughout the series. There’s loads of secrets, moments of sheer heartbreak and the redeeming moments that bring the couples together. The final epilogue brings them all back to where it started which is bittersweet. There’s some sizzling hot chemistry between each couple that will leave you wish for one of the McLoughlin brothers

I received a free copy of this book however all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own. I absolutely loved this series. I was hooked from page one and very disappointed when I reached the end (having not put it down in between!). I like book when they have interconnecting storylines, which these do, and dual PoV, which the last two do. They follow the three McLoughlin brothers as they struggle with finding love and establishing their relationships. I really can't recommend these highly enough!
I was given this book to read in exchange for a review. What a fantastic boxset. It my first time reading this author Emma Tharp and I thoroughly enjoyed her writing. One of those smooth-flowing reads that hooks you from the start and reels you in for the duration but it’s so good, it all really flies by too quickly. Each couple was so special, in their own way - you really got invested in their little families and their lives in such a short amount of time. Well worth the read.

Easy to read relatively short stories each about 1 of the brothers, all with a hea ending. The books can all be read in an afternoon. Each book approximately an hour. Each book contains some difficulty, broken relationships, death, unexpected pregnancy, abandonment but neither book dwells on it. It's acknowledged and the books are about moving on from it each in their own way. Dispite some of the heavy topics the books stay light on the topics.
I love reading a boxsets as you get to read about a group of people like this boxset features a group of brothers who are all hot and sexy and find their perfect match with some misunderstandings, chemistry and drama along the way making for a great read.

I devoured these books so fast that I need to go back and read them again because they were that good. I couldn't put them down. Well written with wonderful characters, you will find yourself diving in and wishing that you knew these characters in real life. They felt real because they were relatable and believable. I did not want these books to end.
I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book. This is a great, entertaining Box Set from Emma Tharp. It is a very enjoyable and well written set of books. The brilliant, entertaining chemistry and interaction between the interesting characters kept me engrossed till the end. This is an intriguing, engaging Must Read Box Set that I really enjoyed reading.
I only read the third story in this boxed set mainly because the first two didn't interest me. The third story turned out to be really good. I fell in love with the h. She was mature and acted as such. I appreciated that because it seems to be something that's lacking in a lot of the h's I've been reading.
An amazing collection. Extremely entertaining, captivating, and interesting read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong and intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
These weren't bad but they are definitely sappy Hallmark romances. Not alot of depth, build up or conflict. I did get very irritated by some of the attitudes of the supporting characters.
Three book box set each about a different McLoughlin brother. They were each novella length but good character development and background. They were enjoyable and sweet, very little steam. I liked how the last books epilogue wrapped up all the brothers with their HEA!
Three brothers who each have problems committing. For me the books were uneven, sometimes sucking me in and at others leaving me at a distance. You may find yourself caught up and involved with each of these books.
I really enjoyed this series with the terrific characters, humor, unexpected surprises, and great HEA's. I would definitely recommend this book, series, and author.
I thoroughly enjoyed the brothers and their loves. Interesting predicaments and good stories. I do have (always will) a problem with authors who don’t know when to use « I » and « me ». Kind of ruins the rhythm of the story and there’s lots of misuse here.
When I bought this book, I did not realize how good this book would be. It has it all. Characters that you get into right away. The plot in each book is outstanding. The storyline catches you and doesn't let you go.
The ideas behind these short stories are really good; however, the execution is lacking. I would say for me the worse part was the dialogue. It just seemed so immature and cheesy.
I have enjoyed reading about the three McLoughin brothers, About their up and downs, how it affected their relationship, and how they made a turn around to make. Heir relationships work..
