In Kristen Proby’s second novel in her Romancing Manhattan>i> series, a playboy vows never to commit—until he meets the one woman he’s tempted to break his promise for.

Quinn Cavanaugh doesn’t do anything halfway. He drives fast, works hard, and plays even harder. And the word “commitment” doesn’t exist in his dictionary. He has no plans of settling down with one woman for he needs to be free to move on to the next big thing—whatever or whoever that may be. Each party knows the score going into it, and it’s all been working out fine. That is, until a sexy new colleague enters the scene.

Sienna Hendricks doesn’t give much thought to Quinn and the revolving door leading to his bedroom. She’s way too picky about who she shares her time or her body with and screwing around with a colleague isn’t part of her plan either. Quinn doesn’t intimidate her. And unlike most other members of her sex, she doesn’t melt into a puddle at his feet whenever he’s near. Most importantly, she has no issues telling him no.

But for a man who has the world at his feet, Quinn isn’t accustomed to being rejected. And he’s not about to let that change—no matter how persistent Sienna is. To his surprise, Sienna is everything he thought he’d never find. Pursuing her, and convincing her he's changed, is going to be the biggest challenge of his life. One he’s completely up for….

I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was a fun read and it is the second installment of the Romancing Manhattan series. This book is about Quinn, who is Finn's brother in the first book. He is an attorney representing a client that wants to claim a valuable piece of property that belongs to Sierra's family, the opposing counsel. The two meet in court where they are ordered to work together to find the evidence that win their case. Quinn and Sierra's time together at first is professional, but there is no denying that there is chemistry and they soon act on their feelings. They fall fast, but Quinn receives information that can hurt Sierra and he is conflicted as it could derail their relationship. Sierra exposes a secret that causes her to assess her relationship with Quinn and her family.

This was an easy, breezy read and I read in one sitting. The story shoots out of the gate immediately and the pace is consistent throughout. Fun summer read, looking forward to number 3

All It Takes is the second installment of Kristen Proby's Romancing Manhattan series and follows Quinn Cavanaugh, Finn's brother from book one. He doesn't have plans of ever commiting to a woman, and his past has left him more than a little scared to get close to someone, afraid that he would lose them somehow. But when he has to work with Sienna Hendricks on a case, even though she's opposing counsel, he realizes that she's what he needs and wants, and he's not afraid to go after what he wants.

This book was a really fun one to read; there was some angst and tension between Quinn and Sienna that I thought was very well done and had me captivated. But mostly their story was pretty light and an easy read, which I enjoyed. They made it easy to fall in love with both of them and their relationship was just super cute. They kept a smile on my face the entire time.

Bottom line, I will definitely recommend reading this book and would say that it could be read as a standalone even though the characters from the previous book do make some appearances.

All It Takes is a love story for Manhattan. All of that park, the boulevards, the life style, the statue of liberty and i can smell the brownies and the coffee..

The story itself is almost non existing. The insta lust/love is everywhere. I can not even understand why they fall in love actually. But i can feel love for Manhattan. I never been to Manhattan and this book brings that romantic sentimental about the city.

And because of that, i give 3 stars.

BRILLIANT!!!

I couldn't put this book down. From the start to the end it was so good. The story just kept getting better and better and hotter. Quinn and Sienna are brilliant characters I really liked them from the start. Sienna is a strong independent attorney from the Bronx. She sassy and knows what she want. Being in a job that is mainly ran by men she has to be this way. Also growning up with most the men in her family doing the same job she knew what she wany to be. The man in her life her father and grandfather meant everything to her. So when her grandfather past away it was hard to deal with. But with all her family being close they stuck together to help each other. But things took a lil turn when they found out that property her grandfather owned might not be his. This is where the gorgeous Quinn Cavanagh came in.

Quinn is a great guy I liked him from the very start. He is an attorney in Manhattan with his brother and brother in law. They have worked there back sides off to get where they are now work long long hours but it been worth it. They havnt had it easy over the last few year with there father and sister pass away. But they are a close family so they have stuck together. Quinn is so caring looking after his mum and he luvs his niece so much she means the world to him. I really liked this side to him. When he caught a site of Sienna he knew there was something between them. It wasnt goin to be easy to keep his hands to himself when it came to the gorgeous red head.

This story was so good its flowed so well throughout the whole book. Image big fan if this author so I alway know that I'm goin to enjoy her books. But I have to say I think this book is one if her best so far. I luvd the connection Sienna and Quinn had together. They were so alike with there luv of there family and work. They just brought out the best in each other. The twist in the book was great even though you sort if knew what was goin to happen there was a bigger twist that had me shocked. I really luvd that. I highly recommend this book. There isn't a thing that I didnt like. Its was so easy to read with great characters and story. I'm really looking forward to more of this series the secondary characters in this series are so good to even though we just got a bit if them I know there books are goin to be good. So excited!!

5 ‘ You are Home’ Stars

Holy mother of SWOONFESTS!!! All It Takes indeed took it all, most of all my breath away! Kristen Proby’s masterfully unique and realistic writing style strikes once again with this deeply closed to the heart emotional and sexy love story.

Quinn and Sienna’s story really involved me from the very beginning and kept me immerse in ALL the huge range of emotions that I’m addicted to in Ms. Proby’s writing. So deceitfully effortless realism that I truly feel as though this characters and situations could be me or the ones surrounding me every day, that’s how beautifully crafted this story is.

He’s not a good kisser.
No, he’s a freaking exceptional kisser. The kind of kisser who should come with a damn warning label. He could win the kissing Olympics.
And now my lips are ruined for all of mankind.

Quinn and Sienna met in quite a very unique setting and sparks instantly fly, equal parts anger – mainly on her part, lol – and attraction, we could already see the insane sexual chemistry and attraction coming forward, but with their relationship development, it just took it to new, and off the charts HOT heights.

“Being with you is never enough, Sienna. I love every minute.

“The only way I can describe it is, I saw you for the first time, and I knew my life would never be the same. You are seated squarely in the heart of my being, Sienna.”

I couldn’t have loved more every single piece of this story, from the most perfect of boyfriends, Quinn – and my new KP best book boyfriend – to the retable and oh so strong and independent Sienna, passing through all the extraordinary side characters both from the previous book, and hopefully from the books to come, all the extremely engaging backstory and subplot, the storyline was absolutely perfect! And SCORCHING, did I mean that already?! ;)

“You’re mine, Sienna. This.” I press in balls deep and pin her hands to the desk. She’s panting, watching me with wide blue eyes. “Is mine. And this.” I kiss her chest, over her heart. “This is mine.”
“All yours,” she confirms. “And you’re mine back.”

All It Takes had such a great ‘enemies to lovers’, ‘office romance’ vibe, specially at the beginning, that I adore, and add the PERFECT way that the author portrayed the ‘reformed player’ trope that not always works for me, I was completely and utterly sold. Ms. Proby surpassed all my expectations, and considering how much I love and devour her words, that’s saying something. The addiction is so real, that I am already DYING for Carver’s story. Specially after the teasing we got here, I need his book – and all the other side characters, like Lou – STAT!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

I’m so in love with you that I ache with it.

Quinn is my rock. My constant. And I know I don’t want to do this life without him.

No, life’s not going to be dull. It’s going to be thrilling, and fun, and maybe a little scary sometimes. And you know what? I can’t fucking wait.

All It Takes is book two in the Romancing Manhattan series of interconnected standalones. Each book is about a different brother. I would recommend reading the first book before reading this one (as the narrators from that book are in this book a lot).

This book was fun, cute and super sexy.

The narrators are Quinn (male) and Sienna (1st person POVs). They are both lawyers.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved getting to see Carter, Finn and London again. This book can be read as a standalone. But the characters from the first book are in this book a lot. And their stories continue. I absolutely loved getting to see Quinn and Sienna's story, while also getting to see what happened to the main characters from All The Way.

As was the case in the first book, this book also has a bit of a mystery. I really enjoyed that part of the book.

Overall, this was a quick enjoyable read. I look forward to reading the next book!

Such a sweet, addicting book.

This is a standalone that is also part of Romancing Manhattan series, and this time we get Quinn (Finn's brother) and Sienna's story.

One thing that I love is that, as usual with this author, it's sweet, sexy and oh so full of love. But somehow this series has all that but it's also different. I think it has a sobriety about it that we don't find in her other books, it's new, it's maybe more mature even, and I loved it so much.
Don't get me wrong, I love all of her books and I love the lightness in them, but I love to see this new picture in this series, this sensitivity.

Both of them are attorneys and, after her granfather's passing, she is faced with an unexpected issue on his will. And the issue is brought up by a big client Quinn represents.

But the case is so peculiar that not only they are on opposing counsels, but they are induced into working together. And that brings so many feelings that maybe they should withhold.

"'Sienna, can you honestly say that you don't feel anything when we're together?'
'I feel it. And I'm fighting it'"

But keeping their feelings in check is easier said than done. And soon enough, those feelings become bigger than themselves.
They have both great work ethic and they are trying to find the truth in their case, no matter who wins.
And as they spend more time together, they become closer and closer, and they start to see that living without each other might not be an option.

"The only way I can describe it is, I saw you for the first time, and I knew my life would never be the same. You are seated squarely in the heart of my being, Sienna"

But the problem is that there are so many things they still don't know, and other things that only Quinn knows partly, and that might all it takes to break them apart.

Unless they have all it takes to get through all that and still nurture their love.

What a sweet escape for a day when one is in the mood for a little romance! There is a little bit of mystery that keeps the pages turning, along with the growing relationship between the two main characters. I think my biggest complaint is that the actual story, itself, isn't anything at all like the synopsis describes. I was expecting one thing but got something completely different.

Now, that doesn't mean the story wasn't good - just a complete difference in expectations. I saw absolutely nothing of a hero who, “commitment” doesn’t exist in his dictionary. He has no plans of settling down with one woman for he needs to be free to move on to the next big thing—whatever or whoever that may be." From the very beginning he seems completely intent on Quinn, he is devoted to his family and we see none of the his playboy ways - even in conversation much. Sienna is the same. Their interactions and growing relationship is very organic and enjoyable - they're just not what the synopsis implies.

So, if you're thinking of reading this book, just keep that in mind. It truly is a delightful journey that leaves one satisfied for sure!

I had read the previous book in this series and I was interested in the brothers, so I was intrigued about this one.

I liked Sienna and Quinn. They’re both motivated, passionate about what they do, and loyal to their families. It was easy to root for them and want everything to work out. I am intrigued at the set up for the next book and I am very happy to see the brothers talk about how Finn was an ass in the first book.

Plot wise, it was okay. My main complaint is that I didn’t really see the chemistry between Sienna and Quinn. Their relationship was very shallow and while they did talk, the topics weren’t about anything of value. Even though the time span was short, I would have liked to see a little more depth.

Overall, it was a quick read and little angst and I’ll definitely be reading the next story.

All It Takes by Kristen Proby is a light enemies to lovers read with two brilliant characters. Quinn and Sienna are both lawyers and are fighting of a piece of land Sienna's grandfather willed to the city of Bronx. Quinn's client claims the land was given to HIS great grandfather years ago. Now these 2 lawyers have to try to figure out who really has the rights to the land in question.

I wanted the land to belong to Sienna's family because they wanted it to be a park. It seemed the more noble reason. But, Sienna's family has some issues. Her sister has a problem with money. Then her uncle begins acting a bit strange. On the flip side, Quinn's family is lovely! Having lost their father and their sister, they are pretty tight and Quinn is terrified of losing his mom.

Sienna and Quinn become lovers after just a few days of hanging together because Quinn is totally smitten and willing to pursue Sienna even when she wants to keep their relationship professional. He knows she is attracted to him but holding back. Sienna enjoys her work, but she works for the city because she doesn't want her work to be her life. I think that message is really powerful. Sienna has other hobbies and enjoys her free time and she doesn't feel guilty about that. When it comes to Quinn, Sienna said it best, Quinn is swoony. Oh my gosh is he ever so swoony!!! Seriously, he is the perfect book boyfriend. He never quavers in his feelings for Sienna. He never gets cold feet or wishy washy.
I'm so in love with you that I ache with it.

See-swoon!!!!!
I saw you for the first time and I knew my life would never be the same. You are seated squarely in the heart of my being, Sienna.

All It Takes by Kristen Proby is a quick enemies to lovers read that will appeal to readers who enjoy close knit families and big city settings! If you are looking for a story to steal your heart, All It Takes delivers in spades!
You are the best part of every day. You are my home. You make me a better man. I know we haven't been together for long, but I don't do anything slow or halfway.

I was bored, most of the times. it was extremely few parts i enjoyed and i found myself skimming most pages after the 30%. i really tried to like it, but i just didn`t like the characters and i found that their chemistry was off and too fast for my liking, it wasn`t so much build up to them falling for each other and it kind of...felt off when it was stuff happening inbetween. So sadly, this one for me was a bust.

~ 5 Never A Dull Moment Stars ~

What happens when you get two attorneys who are working on the opposite sides of the fence, one who loves being an adrenaline chaser and one who follows the rules to a T?? You get the story of Quinn and Sienna, who show opposites do attract and can have some scorching chemistry.

All It Takes is another great story in Kristen Proby’s Romancing Manhattan series. I actually liked this one even more than book 1…..All the Way. I found the couple intriguing and entertaining and I loved the storyline. I even loved the little element of suspense she added to the storyline. This is a pretty easy read without a lot of excess drama. It will definitely have you swooning and maybe even melting you kindle while you read it.

This is the second book in this series but can be read as a standalone. It is told in Dual POV. It does revolve around the Cavanaugh brothers and their law firm, so you will see previous characters in this story, but I don’t feel you have to read the first book to really enjoy this book. I thought the flow and pace of this story was spot on. If you are a fan of Kristen Proby’s books then you know what to expect when reading a story she writes. And this book doesn’t disappoint!!!

We follow Quinn and Sienna’s story in All It Takes. Quinn is the brother of Finn (All the Way) and an attorney. They own their own firm. Sienna has just lost her grandfather and was just told that the land their family has owned for many generations was sold to someone else. Sienna doesn’t believe that, so since she is also an attorney she has taken on the case to prove that this land still belongs in her family. This is where she meets Quinn, because he is opposing counsel in this case. Can these two work together without crossing the line?? What happens when attraction is too strong to ignore?? Will they get their HEA once the case is closed?? Read this book to find out.

I was happy to see more of Finn and London in this book. One of the negatives I had for their book was that I wanted an epilogue and now I see why we didn’t have one. Finn and London’s story continues into this story as a secondary storyline. I also like seeing more of Carter and I hope his book is next!!!

I would recommend this book to all romance readers who like a story with very little drama but some suspense to keep you turning the pages. If you know or have read other Kristen Proby books, then you know when you pick this book up, you’re in for a treat!

Quinn is a successful attorney who believes in work hard and play infrequently because of the first option. He and his brother and brother-in-law have a practice in Manhattan with a client who claims to own a park in the Bronx – an integral neighborhood playspace. His ‘proof’ of ownership is a 100+ year old IOU that has yet to be authenticated or validated. But, the holder is determined to claim ownership and start development.

Sierra and her sister are still recovering from their grandfather’s death and the will reading: discovering that they had both been left significant bequests was beyond their expectations. But, with the claim against the park property, Sierra is determined to use her skills and experience as a city attorney to fight the claim – even going so far as to ‘team up’ with opposing council to discover the veracity of the documents

This was fun – from the relationship between Sienna and Quinn to the ones with their families and the underlying deception about the documents coming to light and life. The story was full of the issues of trust and challenge that both brought to the table – but their underlying ‘rightness’ for one another shines through clearly. Throughout it all, there were moments to laugh, sigh and even want to shake both of them, but the ‘determined to get to the real truth” sense from them both was clearly evident. Proby added in moments from the other family members to ‘check back in” and gives this story a sense of ‘fate’ for the pairing of Sierra and Quinn, even as they both try to fight it…..to no avail.

I received an eArc copy of the title from the publisher via Edelweiss for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

Two lawyers that love to argue and seems to be their foreplay, sign me up for that! Sienna and Quinn met at one of her lowest days and I think the fire she needed to get through that meeting and in court kept her from sitting in her grief. Having someone who understands and can empathize with your pain is an indescribable gift to be given and Sienna was appreciative, but rightfully hesitant. Kristen Proby has never failed to bring her readers a romance that bring together a family and touches so many more relationships that the two MCs.

Another Cavanaugh Brother has taken me down for the count. Can you say swoony?! OH MY, Quinn took hold of my hand and didn't let go. He was the perfect match for the smart and sweet Sienna Henricks.

As the two work on a case together, the more time they spend - the more their connection grows until it can't be denied any longer.

These two together just made me smile. They were witty and harmonious together. They just fit from the beginning. They were the perfect yin and yang which made me so happy!

Once I started I couldn't put the book down and I cannot wait for book three in this series!! Such a fun read. With a bit of suspense and an instant love in the greatest way - I adored this book and this author even more.

Super steamy with lively bantering and an interesting plot that revolved around family issues, All It Takes was a solid follow up in Kristen Proby’s Romancing Manhattan series.

I was so happy to get this second book in the Romancing Manhattan series after having a lot of fun with book one, All the Way, which was about our hero Quinn’s brother Finn. It was great to see Kristen Proby bring to life the bits and pieces of Quinn’s personality we glimpsed in his brother’s book and to find out that there was a lot more to him than being the responsible guy who protected everyone in his family. REVIEW: 3.75 stars--ALL IT TAKES is the second instalment in Kristen Proby’s contemporary, adult ROMANCING MANHATTAN erotic, romance series focusing on business partners and attorneys: Finn and Quinn Cavanaugh, and Carter Shaw. This is attorney Quinn Cavanagh, and attorney Sienna Hendricks’ story line. ALL IT TAKES can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Quinn and Sienna) ALL IT TAKES follows the building relationship between opposing attorneys Quinn Cavanagh, and Sienna Hendricks. Sienna Hendricks’ grandfather recently died bequeathing an expensive piece of property, designated as park land, to the Bronx but there is an immediate objection when attorney Quinn Cavanaugh claims to have documentation that the land in question does not belong to the Hendricks’ family. A court order forces our couple to work toward a common goal, a goal to research and uncover the truth. What ensues is the building relationship and romance between Quinn and Sienna, and the potential fall-out when secrets and lies converge to destroy our heroine’s heart.

Sienna Hendricks knows working with Quinn Cavanaugh on her grandfather’s case may be all kinds of wrong but when a judge forces our couple to work together, the sparks begin to fly, and the heart falls in love. Quinn Cavanaugh isn’t opposed to working with our story line heroine but convincing Sienna they should work together behind the scenes is a potential conflict of interest when Quinn is presented with information that could destroy the woman with whom he is falling in love.

The relationship between Quinn and Sienna is one of immediate attraction but Sienna struggles working with a man who is determined to take away her grandfather’s legacy. Quinn is determined to make Sienna his own but secrets revealed will pull Sienna out of his life. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Quinn’s brothers: Finn and London (All the Way #1), Carter Cavanagh and his daughter Gabby, and their mother Margaret; as well as the introduction of Sienna’s sister Lou; their parents, uncle Patrick; and real estate developer Bruce House.

ALL IT TAKES is a story of family, secrets, betrayal and lies. The premise is engaging and captivating; the romance is seductive; the characters are sassy and sexy. ALL IT TAKES is a wonderful addition to Kristen Proby’s ROMANCING MANHATTEN series.

Wow!!!!

It's no secret that KP is my go to gal when it comes to love stories so as soon as I saw this on edelweiss I had to request it!

The last book in this series didn't really hit the mark for me- It was good- but not a story I'll replay over and over in my head- so when I picked up this book I had my reservations- I knew I would like it but I doubted I would love it.....

I was soooooo very very wrong!!!!

It was amazing!

Quinn and Sienna were an explosive couple!

And the story was so interesting- I was really rooting for this couple to find what they needed and get the hell on with being together and falling deeper.

I might even go as far to say this was my 2nd favourite KP book (nobody will ever take Nate and Jules spot as my number one)

All It Takes, is all it took to make me fall in love with another Kristen Proby story and series! Romancing Manhattan has all the makings of another brilliant series and I can’t wait for more. These Cavanaugh Brothers are so sexy! I know Carter isn’t a Cavanaugh by name but he is a Cavanaugh by family and I get a feeling he will be just as sexy!

This story starts out with a bang when Quinn and Sienna first meet unexpectedly in the park. You get the sense instantly that things are about to get very interesting. Nothing like a little court ordered togetherness to make it harder to ignore your attraction to the opposing counsel. What I loved most about All It Takes was the evolution of Quinn and Sienna’s love story. I love how love softened both of them in different ways. It was a true romance. Everything between them felt so effortless. Somehow even their opposition felt effortless.

This story further developed characters we fell in love with in All the Way. Finn and London are completely woven into the All It Takes storyline as well and it’s true KP character development magic. Also, Carter gets a little more story time in this one, and so does his teenage daughter Gabby. Anyone else dying for his single dad story?! I’m not sure if Nora will be the one for him but I’m sure whoever it is will be perfect for him. I also loved the introduction of Louise (Lou), Sienna’s not so financially responsible sister. Her man picker is broken and I can’t be the only one who thinks she’s more than deserving of being lucky in love! She is so funny and sweet and it seems like great things will be coming her way, now that she’s building her event planning business.

I can’t recommend this book enough! It’s a bit of a slow burn, it’s not quite enemies to lovers, low angst, mildly suspenseful beautiful love story. Kristen’s writing is always spot on for me. She takes such time and care with her characters and the overall story within the series. I adore her and her writing.

There’s nothing I enjoy more than diving in to a new book from one of my favorite authors so I was excited to get my hands on All It Takes by Kristen Proby. The second standalone novel in the author’s Romancing Manhattan Series is part workplace romance and part rivals-to-lovers romance, following the love story of two attorneys with chemistry so palpable, it’s not long before they line between business and pleasure is blurred.

It’s not typical for opposing counsel to work together on the same case. But that’s what the judge orders when Sienna Hendricks is tasked with proving her grandfather is the legal owner of the park he willed to the city of New York. Despite representing the man who claims to be the rightful owner, Quinn Cavanaugh is more than willing to work alongside Sienna, although his instant attraction to the consummately professional lawyer *may* have something to do with his eagerness.

Quinn’s playboy reputation precedes him, however, and Sienna doesn’t immediately fall for his charms. Quinn loves the challenge Sienna presents, and soon, the long nights and intimate quarters lead to a scorching hot, whirlwind romance. Together, Sienna and Quinn are magnetic, bringing a playfulness and sensuality to each page of the narrative that had me grinning from ear to ear and swooning nonstop.

With characters that are multifaceted and effortlessly likable, a narrative that’s fast-paced and lighthearted, and a romance that’s fan-your-face steamy, All It Takes is a riveting new installment in Kristen Proby’s Romancing Manhattan Series. I devoured it in a matter of hours and was sad to see it come to an end, but I’m already eagerly awaiting the next book in the series.

Sienna and Quinn meet under very unusual circumstances whereby Sienna is blindsided by the stranged attending the reading of her beloved grandfathers will and throwing their family into a tailspin as a result.

Sienna and Quinn become opposing counsel on a case 100 years old involving part of her grandfather’s estate – a city park. While the park is a focal point of the community it is situated within it is also a prime piece of real estate and as such worth millions for property development. It is ownership of the park that has come into question and resulted in the necessity of Quinn and Sienna working together to unearth proof of ownership within Sienna’s grandfather’s mountains of paperwork.

The chemistry between Sienna and Quinn simmers below the surface while Sienna battles her emotions regarding the threat to her family’s legacy.

Working side by side and spending a lot of time together serves to ignite more than just a physical connection between Sienna and Quinn. I loved how Sienna prioritized a work/life balance and the creative outlets she had for her emotions. Being with Sienna and witnessing the way in which she is able to make time for more than just work has Quinn re-evaluating his own life.

The developing relationship between Sienna and Quinn is the main focus of All It Takes along with the character development with regard to the quality of life, there are a few surprises in store with regards to the case that brought Sienna and Quinn together and could well test the strength of their blossoming relationship!!!!!

One of these days, there's going to be a book by Kristen Proby that I don't love.

This wasn't it.

The thing I love most about her titles is that it's a falling in love story without the angst (although this one had a little) that makes you worry that the couple won't get their happily ever after.

I also liked that the story had tension that was internal and external, but blended well and it felt realistic and like the challenges that would be faced by real people. It helps draw you in when you can relate to the characters and I could relate to both if them, even when they seemed to be on opposite sides.

I liked Quinn and Sienna, both together and separately. I liked their interaction and the respect they had for one another. They were at cross-purposes and for one of them to "win" so to speak, the other needed to lose...but, the respect for one another was strong enough that, even though this was a part of their story, it wasn't all of their story.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.

This is the second installment in this series, I didn't know that but I was not lost I just wished that I had started from the beginning and maybe I would have enjoyed more, please do not think that I didnt I did I just felt thaaaat something was missing so I do plan to go to read the first book and see if I am missing something so that goes to show you that had I not enjoyed it somewhat I wouldn't have even bothered. So we meet Sienna whose grandfather past away and left her a family park. The judge orders her to work with the opposing counsel which she did expect nor wanted since she wasn't sure how she felt about Quinn. There is history with their families and now there is going to be more since they are about to find out more history between them they were not aware of..What happens? Grab a copy

Kristen Proby’s Romancing Manhattan series takes me home. See, I’m a girl from whose heart never really left the Northeast. So, it’s a joy every time Kristen uses her incredible voice to describe my “home.” And All It Takes, does that.

Sienna jumped off the pages to me as someone I would identify with as one of my relatives; a New Yorker that lives in the city and thrives on its energy. She’s practical, smart, sassy and has no problems going head to head with Quinn Cavanaugh; because he’s just wrong.

Quinn surprised me in a good way. Maybe because I know the bad boy lawyers too well, but he just got under my heart with the way he loves his family so deeply. And it wasn’t long before the attraction that initially drew Sienna to him eventually pulled her into an orbit of his protection.

But promises made need to be kept when the law needs to be upheld. And the law refuses to bend for no man. No woman.

Not even for love.

Another win by Kristen Proby!

All It Takes is the second installment in the Romancing Manhattan series. However, you can easily read it as a standalone. Quinn and Sienna meet as opposing attorneys but have some notable chemistry right away. I love them as a couple. It addition to the developing romance, there is an undercurrent of deceit going on regarding a piece of property that is supposed to be left to the city as stated in Sienna's grandfather's will. Tied in with all of this is a definite mystery as to who all is involved with trying to undermine this. This was a fun book to read with some sexy times thrown in. I really am looking forward to reading others in the series.
