This audiobook is a great start for beginner in meditation; especially me, an active-couldn't-sit-still-more-than-5-minutes person. It starts with short sessions, developing into various method of breathing and longer sessions, with soothing music (which could be too soft at times!). The most encouraging part of the audiobook for me, besides the various way of breathing, is that I don't have to sit cross-legged to meditate; I can walk, laying down, open eyes, close eyes, sitting in the park, etc. I will definitely go back to the audio to repeat all of the sessions a few times. The author / speaker has a encouraging and soothing voice too. Good recording.

Yeah, this program was pretty all right. I really liked the background calming music.

Meditation isn't really my thing, and whenever concepts like auras and "all the light and love in me goes out to all the light and love in you" are mentioned, I want to repeatedly bang my head against the wall. Still, this was good for working on taking periodic breaks, correcting my back posture habits, and learning new breathing techniques. This program includes 20 sessions that introduce different meditation techniques and steadily get longer in length as listeners get used to these sessions. While these are meant to be experienced for 20 days straight, if you miss a day or so it is no big deal at all.

I would recommend this to all those who want to learn more about calming low key meditation on their own time without having to deal with other people at a local exercise class.

When you have difficulty getting to sleep any help is welcome. Meditation often helps and this little series leads you through various iterations with each session being a bit longer. The calm male voice and unobtrusive music is calming and the practice useful.

Mostly breathing exercising. The ones where you hold your breathe or count the inhale/exhale definitely takes your mind off anything else :)
