Gemini Project #2

Doubling Down

Two soldiers with a weird superpower…

Jay and Zack aren’t just any run of the mill Special Forces soldiers. They can hear each other’s thoughts—and only each other’s—which means they’ll be a team for the rest of their careers…and lives. The military experiment that opened up the silent channel of communication between their minds only solidified a friendship that had already spanned years.

They are a lot alike in many ways, and their taste in women is also something they have in common, which is a good thing, because being in each other’s heads all the time means relationships with women are more than a little tricky. The solution some of the other duos in their unit have found is to find just one woman willing to share and be shared, love and be loved, by them both.

One woman under threat…

Becky likes both Jay and Zack so much, she’s waiting for one of the guys to step up and ask her out because she can’t decide which one she likes more. When underworld henchmen attempt to kidnap her, Jay and Zack play the hero, saving her in the nick of time. But her life is still in danger. She knows something someone wants and they’ll go to just about any length to get that information from her.

Together, Jay and Zack will use their special skills first, to find out why Becky is suddenly a target for kidnappers and second, how to end the threat once and for all. They will take on crime bosses, goons, bodyguards with almost supernatural skills and a man who doesn’t seem quite human. But when push comes to shove, will Becky be able to accept both of them, and the strange power they have? Or will she run from them…straight into danger?

Loved it

Jay and Zach have found their women in Becky, the manager of the bar and grill the team frequents. The decide to test the waters, Jay with a kiss an Zach with a date.
Becky is attracted to both Zach and Jay. They have been circling around her for a few weeks. With some robberies of local businesses in the area, they have taken a protective roll, one of both staying til closing and walking her to the bank to make the night deposit.
When Becky is attacked.by some well trained men working for a local crime boss, Jay and Zach step up their time table.
When Becky realizes she doesn't have to chop between Jay and Zach, she follows her heart.
A fast paced and a little steamy, MFM manage romance, no MM. The series is set in the Grizzly Cove\Tales of the were series. Loved the. Series the in.

The magic of three

The author made leaps and bounds with this newest addition to the Gemini Project series. She built on the connection between the pairs and the unit as a group, and brought a comradery that gives the characters more depth. You can even see hints of the Tales of the Were series in this book, and I love it. I especially enjoyed the way Becky took the plunge and really put herself out there to bring the three of them together and yet she didn’t lose any of her feminine vulnerability in the process. I don’t know what the author plans on for the rest of the team, but I can’t wait to find out.

Steamy, fast paced story!

I’m so happy that the author chose to continue this series! It was sexy and steamy, as expected, but also filled with edge of your seat action. The storyline was well written, though a bit anticlimactic, and held my attention from start to finish. I’m also really intrigued by the snipped of Marlon and his partners story!

Tinker

Jay and Zack are a pair of Gemini Project soldiers. They are actually the brothers of the pair mated in the first installment of this series. Their love for and need to protect Becky catapults them in to the center of a kidnapping attempt. It takes both their military and personal skills to keep Becky safe.

Doubling Down

An exciting, dangerous situation plaques Becky because of her elusive boss. When Jay and Zack witness an attempt to kidnap Becky, their Spec Ops training and telepathic ability comes in real handy. Can she choose one of these gorgeous men of is it possible to have both? Great story. Loved it.

This book was quite longer than the first book in the series and it had more of a story outside the bedroom. It connects friends from some other series with this one and leaves an opening for book 3. Loved the characters and the story.
