In America's Last Days, only the Steadfast will prevail . . .
STEADFAST Book Six of The Steadfast Series by D.I. TELBAT—a 27,400-word post-apocalyptic novella—continues as Eric Radner finds himself far out in the Plains Zone, where wild dogs roam and lawlessness rules. The two-dozen rescued slaves in his care have no gear, no food, and no water, but Eric is confident his God will guide them safely back to the forests of Wyoming.
At Eric's side is his trusted one-legged friend, Alan Tesh, who was once a military officer. Together, these two hearty men must face the dangers of the feral dogs, as well as a small town whose leaders will kill to keep their dark secrets hidden.
Eric has faced hardship and suffering before, but in this strange land where he has no resources, he is forced to rely upon God in a fresh way. Returning to River Camp alive seems unlikely, with murderous foes in his face and bloodthirsty dogs on his heels. His only hope is a miracle from God.
Not shaken by danger, Eric knows that only those with a steadfast faith will survive!
This novella series follows a Christian survivalist and woodsman through the heartache and heroism of living in America's collapse, following a pandemic scenario. Christian persecution abounds and fear cripples, but one man rises above the uncertain past and looks to a certain future in the hands of a mighty God.

I've been writing novels and short stories since I was a young teen. God has greatly impacted me, and I now desire to honor the Lord with my life and writing.
My stories can be read in several online and print publications, as well as three anthologies. My bestselling COIL Series include novels Dark Liaison, Book One; Dark Hearted, Book Two; Dark Rule, Book Three; and Dark Vessel, Book Four, and are available at most e-retailers, as are Jaguar Dusk, a Christian Special Forces novel, Sea Scribe, a Covert Christian Mission Suspense, and End Times Novel, God's Colonel. See my website for other novels and stories added often, including Dark Cover, COIL Book Five, to be out late 2014.
I offer free weekly Christian short stories, or serialized novels, my Author Reflections, and occasional challenges to the Christian Church on my Telbat's Tablet blog at http://ditelbat.com.
When I'm not writing, I'm very involved in Christian ministry. I've kept my home office in the NW U.S. where my assistant, Dee, lives and helps with my editing and writing needs.
My motto: There is no redemption without sacrifice.

I was sad to see the series end because I enjoyed it so much, but Telbat has other books and other series of books so I've got lots to look forward to in the near future.
Eric and Alan's adventure continues in book six as they head out from Refuge back to Coppertown, keeping a promise. Once again we see Eric stumble, but there's no prolonged period of stubbornness, this time he regrets his mistake immediately, but still, the cost is high. And again, God is glorified, even through Eric's misstep.
I bawled my eyes out with grief, then with joy.
For Christians, this is a must-read series. There is a lot of truth and a whole lot of wisdom in this series and I'm so glad it was among my Fussy Librarian selections because I have truly enjoyed each of the six books.
I was thoroughly satisfied with the ending. And I'm looking forward to getting and reading another of Telbat's series. So, yes. I recommend this book. I recommend the whole series!
There is no limit to what God will do to unite His children’s hearts with His. If you like the COIL stories you will love this series. Faith, boldly walked out, unselfishly, full of mercy beyond comprehension is our God’s open door to lead others into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. D.I Talbat creates believable characters, and weaves in biblical principals in a masterful way. Trusting God through unimaginable circumstances, humble hero Eric Radner confronts sin and sheds light in the darkness to all, that God would be glorified and His children would be restored with hope and knowledge of who we really are, and how much God really loves us.
I’m sticking with Eric and his band of believers to the end. Being from Wyoming I identify very much with the feeling of peace, solitude, and presence of God in this place. The Steadfast Series has been an entertaining and at times poignant journey. This is a niche read of course combining my favorite topics; end time prophecy and TEOTWAWKI scenarios. The installments are relatively short and I always look forward to the next one. I had to chuckle as I thought to myself this will not be on Oprah’s book of the month club but then that’s a good thing! Keep up the good work Mr. Telbat!
I loved this book, though I'm sad that it ends the Steadfast series
Every book by D.I. Telbat has touched me in some way. I have always had a difficult time with loving those who do evil, especially those who hurt children and others who can't defend themselves. While reading these books, understanding was slowly seeping into my heart. With this last book in the series, it finally clicked. And it wasn't even about people. It had to do with the hordes of wild killer dogs that roamed the plains in huge packs.
Just finished book 6 of the Steadfast series and I enjoyed it a lot.So why a 4 star only? I didn't like a few things, such as not killing those who truly need it.However that may have been a good way to make things work out for a lot of people. Important thing is that I found the series enjoyable, characters interesting. Not for preppers though ,or anti religious people.A solid 4!
A very well written book. Book 6 continues the saga .
Continuing the end times saga of trying to survive not just living day to day and struggling to provide a safe place to live but also providing for family and friends in the last days. With the Lord's help in securing what is needed can be daunting.
Another great adventure for Eric. Book 6, I can honestly say I haven't been disappointed once. To have the faith, discernment and courage Eric has is a God send. Oh to be like that! Looking forward to Book 7 in the Steadfast series. Thank you Sir.
An awesome insight into the way Christians should live, and respond when confronted by evil. Good, wholesome, adventure to keep you on your toes. Excellent story line and woven together to both bless you and remind you of God's love for us...
As before, with other D.I. Telbat series, this one hit a home run. (Spoiler alert.) Sad that Alan was killed off. I think he would have been an excellent character in a series all his own.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series. The books are like reading extended parables of Jesus. I became a Christian at 40; twenty some years a go; and have read no finer book on living the Gospel. God bless D.I. Telbot.
Heartfelt joy and loss both have their place here in the last book of the Steadfast series. As characters go forth in their lives, fighting for the rights of the people, we see what happens when God is trusted above all.
The masterfully written ending to a brilliant series
Eric Radner senses that the Spirit is leading him again, he doesn't know how bad things till get but He knows how big His God is. David masterfully culminates the steadfast saga and weaves it into his best series yet.
I read the entire series and I thoroughly enjoyed each book. The characters were well thought out. The story lines kept me fully immersed until there was no more to read. The miracles made my heart soar! Highly recommend this series.
The author blends a very believable apocalyptic scenario with deep Biblical truths. So many books in the genre are dark and depressing but this series is actually encouraging and life-affirming!
Wow what an amazing series and so impressed and recommend truly and I can t say just how much of a blessing these stories are and the author Mr D.I. Tel at too!!!
