Amazing Stories for Young Believers

Rate this book
Amazing Stories for Young Believers contains 366 devotions for children aged 8-12. From the life stories of Bible characters who were used by God in a special way, children can learn valuable life lessons to apply to their own lives. Each day's devotion gives a practical application based on the specific passage of Scripture, as well as a verse that reinforces the lesson for the day. The devotions are arranged in chronological order from Genesis to Revelation, and a four-page topical index at the back helps kids explore the truths of Scripture. A great tool for family devotions!

This softcover book has full-color inside pages and makes a perfect addition to your child's library.

Asks your kids questions like "What is the difference between thanking God and praising God?"

I liked the idea of this book a lot more than the actual execution. The book is a one year devotional that walks through the bible in a digestible way for kids. The first section is a loose interpretation of a bible passage then the 2nd section is a question with an answer (using scriptural back up). Then theres a verse of the day. None of it matched and that bothered me. Each section would be from different books/areas of the bible and it felt in-cohesive. I also thought some of the questions/answers were a stretch. I think this did okay for exposure, but even as an adult I sometimes thought "What is the point of this?"

It's an incredible book. A child's foundation is laid learning about God and it's an unshakeable solid foundation that will carry them through to adulthood. Thank you for this book.
