I absolutely love the story of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, and the legacy that was left by their imprint on society during their reign. I knew I had to get this book in order to show my son, who was named 'Albert' after the great Prince Albert himself. Although I haven't shown him this book as of yet (since he is too young to understand), I immensely enjoyed it on my own. I found that the descriptions were excellent, as I too was able to understand the various accomplishments that were completed on both of their behalves. I also found out some new information that I wasn't aware of, and immediately went online to delve more into what I had just read. I loved the photos on each page, with some of them being hand drawn, and the others being made digitally. The amount of history apparent on each page was riveting, giving me the chance to see deeper into the lives of two royals that impacted the monarchy for years to come. I would highly-recommend this book to anyone that wants to learn more about Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, or teach their young ones about their lasting legacy on society.
Enjoyed the pictures & information about Queen Victoria. It was especially meaningful since I had just traveled to England & spent time seeing all the historical sites in London.
