Annie Wagler has a selfless plan to set up Caleb Hartz with her twin sister Leanna. She knows that Leanna is very attracted to Caleb, but Annie is as well. Leanna has suffered great heartbreak and Annie will do anything she can to help lead her to happiness. Annie sets the wheel in motion to try and bring the couple together.

Meanwhile, Caleb is about to open up a bakery and heads to the Wagler home to hire one of the twins to work for him. In truth, Caleb has no idea who is who! When it turns out to be Annie that he made the offer to, he cannot turn back on his word. However, he is quite drawn to Annie, so he would rather have been working with Leanna.

Just as Caleb is about to show Annie his shop and the plans he's made, he is shocked to discover his teenage cousin Becky and her infant son hiding out. She has run away and seeks protection with Caleb. The only arrangement that seems feasible is for Becky to stay with Annie's family. Now, between Annie working at the shop, and helping to care for Becky and the baby, Caleb and Annie are thrown together quite frequently. Annie sees this as a good opportunity. Maybe she can convince Caleb to accompany Leanna. Anything actually. Oh, but does this pain Annie. As a loving sister, she is not concerned with her future, so she will do what she can. It doesn't take Caleb very long at all to tell the difference between the twins and oh how does his heart skip a beat more than once.

The Amish Bachelor's Baby is a very sensitive and sweet read. I adored this story and admit to being rather intrigued by how drawn Caleb was to Annie. I love the whole idea of pheromones and this has made this a pretty sappy read for me. I do admit to being saddened by Becky's situation and choices, but loved the way the story concluded. I do hope that we get Leanna's story soon.

The other books in the series are The Amish Suitor and The Amish Christmas Cowboy. The Amish Widower's Twins will be available soon.

Many thanks to Love Inspired and to NetGalley for this ARC to review in exchange for my honest opinion.

This is an enjoyable read about a young Amish woman, one of twins, who is asked to come and work for a baker. As they go to refurbish the old bakery they discover a cousin of the baker living rough there; she had been living in the city and has returned, but she has a baby so her nerve failed her at actually going home.

Can they sort out a home for the young lady and her child? Will the strict tenets of community life see her shunned? And why is the sister falling for the baker, when she knows her twin is sweet on him?
I enjoyed the read, which is more a description of community life than an adventure, full of busy, lifelike characters with lots of work to do. As the baby is in many scenes, the romance is a gentle one, and life works around the winter weather.

I downloaded an ARC from Fresh Fiction and Net Galley. This is an unbiased review.

What happens when the matchmaker's match tries matchmaking in reverse? Lots of fun, that's what!

There's Annie so committed to putting her feelings for Caleb aside in order to force...er...encourage...her sister into a relationship with him. The potential for angst had me worried, but really, it was more lighthearted and funny and tender. Caleb doesn't stand a chance once his cousin joins in the matchmaking bedlam as well, making me a very happy reader. And Becky Sue's (cousin) story provided a wee bit of intrigue in the midst of all the romantical flutter.

Love the fledgling New York Amish community setting.. This is my first book from Brown's Amish Spinster Club series but I'll for sure and for certain be hunting down the rest of the them. I've just discovered this author (yes, late to the party, that's me!) so I have many happy reading hours in my future.

This is quick read that the author has placed not too far from where I live, and it is a new settlement, and surprises happen that you won’t see coming.
I was looking for something else to happen when I read the title of this book, but the author I have read before and enjoyed, and this is not an exception, you will be quickly page turning.
As you try to figure out Caleb’s cousin, you will be scratching your head as Annie tries to set her sister up with her boss. A good quick read, and left me wanting more!

I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Harlequin, and was not required to give a positive review.

Caleb needs help in getting his bakery started, and he hires Annie, thinking she is her twin sister Leanna. But what’s done is done, and so Caleb and Annie work getting his shop ready. Annie, though drawn to Caleb, is trying to make a match of him and her twin. But Leanna is still pining for her former beau who married another. To further complicate their lives, Caleb’s young unmarried cousin shows up with a baby, and with no where else to go, Annie and her family take them in. Whew! It’s going to take some careful thinking and a miracle or two to get everything back on track. This entertaining and delightful story is well written with interesting characters and a clever plot.

Who are Annie and Leanna? Who is Caleb? What do we learn about the girls and their mischief that they got up to through 3rd grade? I couldn't help but to laugh. Who are Becky Sue and Joey? How do we meet them? What happens at the store when Caleb and Annie go there one day? What do they find? The use of 'ain't so' in the book so often threw me off every time I came across it and I had to try to figure out in my own mind what the author meant each time it was used. I think I came up with 'isn't that right'? This threw my normal reading speed of the book off. It normally would not have taken me 2 days. It was the one thing I did not like about this story, as I had to re-read everything I had just read to figure out the author's meaning. What happens with Leanna and Caleb at the mud sale? What is a mud sale? Why is it happening? This was such a good read. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much at the end.

The Amish Bachelor's Baby is another terrific story written by JoAnn Brown in her Amish Spinsters Club series. This story is full of mystery, turmoil, and unanswered questions. As we follow the journey in this story those questions get answered and the mystery solved and it will keep you reading. There is also dreams that are realized thru a budding romance that will bring a smile to your face.

The characters each have very different problems from their past and together they work them out. They are all likeable and realistic in their own way. I enjoyed this addition to the series.

I was not given a complimentary copy of this book to read and review. I was not approached by anyone to post a favorable review. I have rated this book with five stars for meeting my expectations of a wonderful story that I can highly recommend to others who enjoy the Amish genre.

Congratulations to JoAnn Brown for writing another fantastic addition to her amazing series.

I enjoyed this sweet Amish story. Both of the main characters, Caleb and Annie, had been deeply hurt by others and needed to learn to trust again. There’s a young teenage runaway with a baby who need the love and support from their family. There’s some well-intentioned matchmaking that goes awry, but though it all, there’s friends and family who are ready to help with any need. A great storyline about community and faith.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

JA! DAS IST DA MOST AMAZING BOOK EVER: -- KEPT ME LOCKED UP IN MY HAUS FOR MONTHS.
Truly, this book has changed my life. Because I read this book, I have started saying "Ja!" instead of the inferior "ya," I have sold my measly livelihood to buy a bakery, and I blissfully await every winter wind so I can be buffeted into the next scene of tranquil romance. Truly, this book is for the Amish literary winners who can all relate to their grossmammi telling them, “I didn’t know who wrote those words. I saw them on a plaque in a store one time, and they’ve stayed with me.”

This book was truly a life changing experience. It addresses difficult issues like relationships, cold wind, and relatives. I was especially impressed with the way the author used words to convey the complex emotions experienced by Caleb and the twins. This book will provide a steady stream of shocking twists to keep you engaged. 10/10 would recommend.

Another great installment of the Amish Spinster Club. I love this series. We meet Annie and Caleb. Annie has a twin Leanna. Caleb asks Annie to work in his new bakery, and Annie thinks Caleb would be a great beau for Leanna. We also meet Caleb's cousin whom has a baby. Annie and Caleb draw closer as they open the bakery and help Caleb's cousin and baby. This was an awesome read. Jo Ann is one of my favorite authors, of the Inspirational Fiction genre.

I’m always entertained by books about Amish characters and I always marvel at their kindness, their faith and all the chores that are so much harder than my own, including laundry. I can’t imagine hanging laundry on the clothesline outside in the winter. This author has a love of comedy that is quite endearing. I laughed out loud at the antics of Leanna’s goats and Annie’s exasperation when they’re to eat everything in sight including the frozen laundry Annie is trying to gather. But all is not fun and games when Annie and Caleb discover an intruder at the bakery and Caleb is shocked to recognize her and to understand what her sudden appearance means. If you’re a fan of all things Amish you’re going to want to add this book to your to-be-read list. I read an early copy of this book through NetGalley and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.

I enjoyed this book. The beginning felt a little disjointed as there were many character names mentioned in passing and I felt a bit confused.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC.

When Annie Wagler takes the job helping Caleb Hartz start his bakery, she does it so she can throw him and her twin sister together. Unfortunately for Annie, the more time she spends with Caleb, the more she realizes she loves him herself. Will she stick with her plan, breaking her own heart in the process? Or, will she decide that Caleb's love is worth fighting for?

Caleb Hartz has dreamed for years of opening a bakery, and now that he has helped establish the new community he is now a part of, he is ready to tackle that dream. He asks Annie Wagler to help him get his building ready. As they work together, Annie seems to bubble over with ideas for how he can make the bakery better. Can he see past the criticism he received from his former girlfriend, to the giving heart that Annie possesses?

When Caleb's unmarried second cousin shows up in his bakery with a baby in tow, Caleb has a dilemma. Since he, also, is unmarried, she can't stay with him. Can he ask Annie's family to take on two more? What will it take for Caleb and Annie to finally see that, maybe, they've been working side-by-side with their best match?

This was a fun book to read. Annie sincerely wants to see her twin sister happy. She's so sincere about it that she's willing to give up her own happiness so that her sister can find hers. And Caleb struggles with telling the twins apart, creating some pretty funny moments. The moment he realizes that he doesn't have that issue anymore, is the moment he realizes he really only sees Annie. Then, the fun really begins.

If you enjoy Amish fiction, this is a fun, fairly quick read. I enjoyed it.
