Madeline by Nicole Tesla is a thrilling story written to leave the reader guessing about many things. The author writes with a flair for meanings in unexpected events. The cover of the book is attractive and conveys the story’s concept. There is a touch of suspense and short but well thought out descriptions of the past. This story demands a fast read and it certainly qualifies for a glowing five stars!
Madeline is a story that evokes such powerful emotions. Both stories of Taylor and Jessie from past to present were the perfect slice from each protagonist’s life. The author did a wonderful job of building the stories, keeping the suspense alive, and making sure the reader would remain glued to the plots. I am amazed at how well-crafted these stories were. The setting of each story was believable, perfect for the time period, and the characters had plenty of page space to tell their tales. I particularly enjoyed the encounter events with the mysterious Madeline. Taylor and Jessie’s story was incredibly rich, detailed, and I enjoyed the element of surprise at the end. I’m a sucker for second chances of all kinds and this hit all the right spots for me. Jessie’s background was tough, she was fighting a broken heart and a broken will, but together they mended each other’s lives.
The author has really concrete the plot, and in this story, the author has taken us back and forth in timeline. I really like that thing because he didn’t have messed up the story. As I mentioned previously that the author is really a good storyteller. His narration is so smooth that it makes the book so enjoyable. I am confident that whatever your taste, you’ll find a favorite scene in this high-quality work. Overall, I would highly recommend Madeline to fans of paranormal, mysteries, and tragedy, and of course, time travel fiction enthusiasts.
I enjoyed this book very much, and feel Nicole Tesla has done a great job crafting a unique plot and interesting characters. Readers will find themselves plunging into the story from page one. I look forward to seeing what the very inventive author Nicole, next has in store for her readers!
