Kit Lewis and John Hogarth are two thirds of one of the best Public Relations outfits in the business. Kit has loved John for years now, but John's wary and skittish. He's seen far too many of Kit's loves fall by the wayside, wings burned, to risk it. One day, though, Kit's sober when he makes the offer and John is particularly open-minded to the possibility of accepting Kit's heart and hand. The rest is history. This collection of six light-hearted short stories charts their relationship from the London Olympics to the celebration of every public holiday known to humankind.
This was a feel good story featuring snippets of the relationship between John and Kit.
Spanning approximately 5 years, they go from friends to lovers to really embracing their feelings (finally), and solidifying it forever and ever.
Quite romantic and swoony with a little cheek and a nice amount of smexy, this was one of those novellas that was an easygoing, enjoyable journey. If that interests you, it’s currently FREE on amazon! Enjoy!
3.5 stars. Light and easy and enjoyable. This was pretty cute. I am a huge fan of Anna Butler's very intense, action-packed epic sci-fi series (it's called Taking Shield--the first book is Gyrfalcon and it's amazing and it's free), and this is quite a departure from that, but the excellent writing is still there. This is a low-drama, low-stress series of stories and they're fun and nice and also free.
Only quibble is that I wish there was more of this.
Pull quotes/notes "'"Died in an elbow attack" does not look good on the firm’s annual report. It means you haven’t achieved your full potential.'" (75/109)
"'It's Health and Sports Day in Japan,' Kit says, and smiles. 'Health and Sports Day.' 'Yeah.' 'In Japan.' 'That's what I said.' 'Kit, last time I looked your family is so Scottish they shit tartan, and mine’s so English they don't have blood in their veins, they have tea. We're both Caucasian. We’ve never even been to Japan on vacation. You hate sushi.'" (84-85/109) no blood just tea

This is a free collection of shorts that follows one couple from getting together through their life together. They are light and cute and funny.
It might have been better as a sweet romance without the sex scenes, which felt a bit like filler sometimes, but they're easy to skim over. I liked best the first episode and the one about the anniversaries.
Definitely worth a read, although not quite up there with Rafe and Ned :)
Wow! I cleaned my house yesterday and suppose to do mowing the yard today but it's raining. SO I sat down and read your book. I LOVED IT! I love the name Kit, the relationship between John and Kit from beginning to end, laughing (I needed that), and just the whole story line. KUDOS! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU...............
This has a very different sort of quirky format. It’s a love story told through a series of short stories. Its main characters are quirky as well. Overall it’s like having a bunch of fresh flowers in the vase on your table at the restaurant instead of the normal artificial ones. Very refreshing and irresistible.
Charming, funny, hot and romantic, these short stories chart the romance between John and Kit, old university friends who run a top PR firm in London with their mutual friend George.
I enjoyed how the stories began with John's wariness at being yet another of Kit's conquests through five years of increasingly loved-up coupledom. A lovely read!
Over the course of five years, this collection of six short stories follows Kit and John as they go from friends and colleagues to lovers to so much more. Sweet, sexy, and absolutely delightful. I'd say I wish there were more of their story, but actually this was just perfect as is.
New to me author. This book is an mm contemporary made up of short stories. A unique format. This is not the author's usual genre. More research on facts would of helped the story.
A series of connected stories about the same two guys, as they get together, live, and love together. Great banter, especially the first two stories. I enjoyed it a lot.
Seemingly a collection of linked short stories involving the same cast, it is set in London at a PR outfit. Once the MCs are together, the heat flares. Good read.
Low drama (skips right over the coming out to conservative religious dad part). Oddly written - not sure how I feel about the narration which ALMOST has the characters talking directly to the reader but not. I felt like I was just drifting through a river that was time in the story, and catching snippets of 'life' (character interactions) as I floated along.
