A quick steamy read with interesting (often amusing) characters and plenty of kink. One of my favorite things about Alexis's writing is the Easter eggs that are there for those who look hard enough- details about artists, dropping her sisters' names as artists, etc. That sort of detail enriches her stories and makes them more real- and fun. This was a different kind of BDSM book about an inexperienced woman learning to accept what she likes, who she is, and what truly matters. 3.5 stars.

Overall, I thought the author did a good job of developing Casey and her world. I liked her outside of the bedroom/club, but she drove me a bit crazy when interacting with club members. I liked her easy friendship with Max. And I loved the twist towards the end. I knew what I wanted to happen. ;)

If you are not into kink/spanking, DO NOT read this book. It is more than a passing fancy for the characters. Sex does not occur without it, ever, and often times the D/s interactions include spanking without the sex. And I'm not talking about just some hand swats, this is hard core spanking for punishment using hands, crops, paddles, brushes, etc. Also, if you are well-versed in BDSM, you might find this book to be a bit frustrating. Casey is a woman with a curiosity and longing to be spanked; however, she isn't really a submissive. She doesn't necessarily want to be one, nor does she completely acquiesce to her role of a submissive in the bedroom. Also, she questions others actions at the club. If she'd done her research as well as was implied, she wouldn't have been so distraught over the punishment she witnessed nor would she question the instructions given to her each time she's the "submissive". I would have liked to see Casey embrace the submissive lifestyle more for her dom's sake as well as more intimate interactions between them.

An overheard convo, an invite to a BDSM club plucked out of the trash, a case of should I or shouldn’t I. Casey’s choice leads her to one of the most thrilling nights of her life. It also leads her to two outrageously gorgeous, sexy AF Doms who both want a taste of the new girl. Well, spank my bottom and thank you very much, Sir! Casey’s Choice is crazy good fun! Alexis Alvarez has a gift for creating heroines you’d trade places with in a heartbeat and heroes who will swoon your panties off with a commanding once-over. Even though, on occasion, they both need a bit of sense smacked into them.

Casey is a talented artist who just needs a break. She’s stuck in a rut, working in an art gallery with a nutjob of a boss, even nuttier clients, and a hilarious coworker who had me laughing until my sides hurt. Impersonating the rich girl whose exclusive invite she procured from the coffee shop trash bin sounded easy peasy, but things got out of hand fast and she’s in deeper than she ever intended. She knows she needs to come clean, but that means possibly losing both Hunter and Max.

I applaud how Ms. Alvarez makes the point (as she always does) that BDSM is more than a game of spank the bottom on the submissive. And she is stellar at conveying this crucial info without standing on a didactic soapbox. When Casey realizes this is indeed a lifestyle she wants to pursue, she learns it requires the utmost honesty, responsibility, and trust. And, that if you’re lucky enough to find a Dom the likes of Hunter or Max, it will be a life-changing experience. Casey’s Choice is an exciting, intense, witty, and supremely sexy read!

Casey, Hunter, and Max sizzle right off the page. Casey had always dreamed of getting a taste of BDSM, and when she stumbles across a chance to enter an exclusive club, she jumps on it. The catch: She has to impersonate another woman to do it. At the elegant and tasteful club (despite some of the naughty goings-on), she meets the gorgeous dom, Hunter. But what will he do when he discovers she lied her way into his domain? My first thought after reading the blurb was to wonder why Hunter would be so angry that he can’t forgive her. But almost immediately the author supplies that answer, showing Casey—and the reader—the extremes to which Hunter values honesty and trust. So of course, his anger makes total sense. And her duplicity ratchets up the emotional tension while the steamy spankings ratchet up the sexual tension. What I especially loved, what made this story stand out from other BDSM novels, was the use of art, master works, and how the emotions about artwork tied in with Casey’s feelings, with her goals. Very beautifully done, turning this story into a stand-out work of art itself. And the ending made it an absolute masterpiece!

Ever since I opened Return and got a taste of Alexis Alvarez's writing, I have been addicted to her brand of steamy and kink. With each book that I have read, I have fallen deeper down the rabbit hole with no hope of return. Just when I thought she couldn't get any better, she delivers us a kinky, tied up love triangle in Casey's Choice and has me saying “oh this one is my favorite!” Sorry Parker and Abby from Boston, it had to said. Hunter, Casey, and Max had me swept up in their world and never wanting to use my safe word...because “mercy” they were hot!

Casey Reilly knows when she can't pass up a good thing, and passing up a chance to sneak into the popular BDSM club Dominion to satisfy her curiosity for the darker side of pleasure cannot be done. Soon she finds herself wrapped up in a lie, exposed, and torn between the arms of two gorgeous men who know how to dominate and elicit every response from their lover. Casey's heart and body are putty in both of their hands, but now she must choose.

Hunter charmed me from his first conversation about art with Casey and kept me mesmerized with every command and punishment he doled out. He is dark and intense and could stop any reader's heart with his all around sexiness. Hunter is suave, mysterious, with the spice of forbidden that keeps your pulse jumping and you drowning in desire.

And if that wasn't enough hot masculinity to offer her readers, Alexis gives us another commanding hero to call “Sir” and kneel for. Max Abbot quickly became my favorite and had the heat ratcheting up with each encounter between him and Casey. Max had the perfect combination of stern and sweet to melt your heart and keep you thrumming with excitement.

Alexis Alvarez delivers another “tie me up and spank me” story that will have readers everywhere yearning to be disciplined by these two swoon worthy heroes! I highly recommend Casey's Choice for a romance that takes you into the world of dark and forbidden and has you wishing you could stay forever. Alexis always entertains, fascinates, and draws the reader into her stories and leaves us obsessing about the characters. She is a definite must read author for all those reasons and so many more.

Casey, Hunter, Max. These characters were intriguing from the opening pages and the dynamic between the two, then the other two, then the three built the heat to a blistering fire. Max and Hunter were going to push Casey’s boundaries to the breaking point in very different ways which made the jockeying between #teamhunter and #teammax a dizzying endeavor! Hunter was cool, almost cold at times, but he knew how to push every button Casey had. Max was killer handsome but with a more laid back, warm style. Who wouldn’t love being in the sightlines of two handsome, successful dominants? Casey was basking in it while struggling at the same time.

Expectations would change and secrets would be revealed as this romance played out in unexpected, very satisfying, ways…

It must be fate when Casey is recovers a tossed invitation to a secret club from the trash. She’s always been curious about the BDSM lifestyle and here’s her chance. She can go in and discover if this is the something that is missing from her life. She will even go in with an alias or secret identity. So, what if it’s someone else’s identity, she’s just going to check it out.

When Casey aka Sofia steps foot in Hunter’s lair, she’s in for a big surprise. Her introduction is tantalizing but her obedience is demanded. Hunter will show her manners and how to respect others. Her punishment will only be delivered to remind her of the lessons she must learn.

I really enjoyed this story so much. I loved the other characters that play major roles. Echo is such a
good friend and I would really like to hear her story. Max does everything right.

I was happy with Casey’s Choice and would love to know more from a few of the other characters.

Casey's Choice by Alexis Alvarez is an erotic BDSM story and aptly named as Casey has to make many choices throughout the book culminating in the ultimate decision at the end.

I've got to say, that I was rooting for one of the suitors from the get go and I enjoyed watching the story unfold. It was definitely not smooth sailing for any of the characters and emotions were running high with the whole world of BDSM opening up to Casey , leaving her vulnerable, confused but aroused and intrigued at the same time.

Casey's Choice gives an interesting insight to the BDSM world and should not be taken lightly but it mixes in some sweet, some HOT scenes, some witty banter and some depth and is a great read if you like that sort of thing.

It took me two days to get all the way through this book because quite frankly, it was very easy to put down. I almost didn't make it. About a third of the way through. I considered stopping because it really didn't seem like my cup of tea. I soldiered on and finished it though and it was okay, but the only thing I really like about this book is the way it ended. I agreed with Casey's choice.

This book ~ It taught me a few things, it made me smile and kept me reading.

The characters were well written and the story was well thought out. It wasn't your typical BDSM story. I really liked Casey inquisitiveness and Hunter and Max's eagerness to teach her the right way. I enjoyed the way art unraveled itself through the story and that there was more than just sex....

Casey grew through the story, not only personally but professionally and in the end she makes the PERFECT choice!

Casey has a CHOICE to make, and I found myself rooting for one of her spanky love interests early on. I had to - HAD TO - know, and I devoured the book in about 24 hours. Alexis Alvarez quickly became my favorite 'spanky' author after 'Myka and the Millionaire'. Her risqué and delicious BDSM main courses are served with sides of responsibility and consent. I appreciated her intelligent and vivid descriptions of sensations, feelings, and places; along with Casey's inner dialogue and the conversations between a clever cast of characters. It's smoking hot AND has a compelling storyline. Happy kinky reading!

I really liked this book and would give it 4.5 stars. The author does a great job giving us the story of Casey's introduction into the world of BDSM. The story is engrossing and is not just a continuous sex scene (though there are some hot ones in the story). The main characters are fully fleshed out and intriguing. The author keeps you guessing until the very end as to how the triangle will resolve. I am really hoping that the author gives our other man his on HEA, as he turned out to be just as deserving.

This is one hot sexy BDSM romance!
I really liked the characters; Casey is a truly believable young woman and her desire to explore her sexual fantasies is utterly plausible. The two men in her life are hot, sexy and dominant, and I started to fall for them both! Now let me tell you about the sex scenes... I absolutely loved the spankings and the sexy punishments! Reading about Casey's limits as they were pushed by one, and then the other protagonist was a big turn on and I could not read the chapters fast enough.
If you enjoy billionaires, BDSM clubs and highly erotic punishments, then you will adore this book. Bravo, Ms. Alvarez!

Mr Spanky Hands

I loved this book so much! How much fun must it have been to research this book? I had no idea there were so many ways to spank! All kidding aside, I could tell a lot of thought and care went into this book. The peek inside a sophisticated club was fascinating, the rules and traditions that keep the players safe. And the choice Casey had to make between two strong and dynamic men was not casual or superficial, I loved seeing her thought process as she came closer to her decision. Ms. Alvarez has put a new spin on BDSM, putting high passion and wild emotion back into play.

I loved this book! I started reading and became completely wrapped up in the story. Casey was brave to go after what she wanted, meeting Hunter was icing on the cake. But, along came Max and he made an impression on her as well. Their journey starts off on the wrong foot, on Casey's part, and is soon filled with some twists, but believe me, you don't want to miss this! It's smoking hot and a real page turner! 4.5 stars for Casey's Choic, this is how BDSM is done!. If you've never read a BDSM book, but are curious, this is a perfect one to start with. Not only is it steamy and deliciously naughty, Alvarez did an outstanding job explaining the mind set of people who enjoy participating in BDSM, which I could never understand. There were great little nuances throughout that at times had me confused but in the end it all made sense. Awesome read, I definitely recommend it.

I waivered between 4 and 5 stars with this one. It's a fun story and the characters were really well developed. It's definitely glitterkink to the extreme with billionaire Doms and model worthy subs. The BDSM scenes were incredibly detailed and really character focused. The author really lets the reader get inside the characters heads for the scenes. The romance took some surprising twist and turns along the way and definitely kept me guessing until the very end.
