Sara Cardiff is pseudonym of Louise DeCormier and two other women. This book is set on an estate up the Hudson River, where a couple on a honeymoon go to stay at the husband's mother's estate. A woman has died by drowning several years before. The husband has no memory of what happened and instead remembers negative and scary things from long, long ago, of the Anazasis in Colorado. Lily, the wife is the central character who struggles to make sense of it all. Well plotted with good characters, an entertaining read.
