An optional short novel in the highly-addictive Kennedy Boys series by USA Today bestseller Siobhan Davis.
The Kennedy Boys go wild on vacation in Ireland!
It’s the summer before they start college, and Faye and Ky are visiting her home turf together—it’s Ky’s first time in Ireland, and her first trip home since her parent’s tragic death.
After a blissful three weeks on their own, they welcome the rest of the Kennedy clan when they arrive on Irish soil for the vacation of a lifetime.
Watch the sparks fly as family emotions run high and the Kennedy boys’ party up a storm, creating mayhem and madness wherever they go.
This dual POV short novel should only be read after Keeping Kyler.
★☆ This book also includes bonus content from Finding Kyler, Losing Kyler, a sample from Loving Kalvin and a sneak peek at Saving Brad, the fifth Kennedy Boys novel. 60,000 words in total (40,000 short novel and 20,000 bonus content)

Boys gone wild is right! And these are not just any boys, they’re the Kennedy brothers who are wreaking havoc of the most addictive kind all over Ireland while on vacation.
I love it when authors write novellas because they’re usually about characters we love and get to spend more time with. It’s even better when no matter the word count, you still get all the good stuff like drama, excitement, sexy times and interesting character interactions and Siobhan does a wonderful job at balancing all of this.
I really enjoyed getting to be with Ky and Faye while they get some alone time in Faye’s home town and then when they spend time with the entire Kennedy tribe. The continuing drama and setup for stories on all the brothers is wonderful. Watching them interact all together was so much fun. I can’t decide who I want to read after book Saving Brad comes out.
We also get more on Faye’s newfound family, I wonder if we’ll get to see more of them throughout the series, in particular Faye’s reluctant half-sister, Whitney.
Besides solidifying their coupledom, Ky and Faye squarely place themselves as a lovey dovey pair capable of producing cavities at will with all their sweetness. And if this isn’t enough, the author also includes bonus content from the first three books in the series.
The Irish Getaway is novella #3.5 in the Kennedy Boys series by Siobhan Davis. This is not a standalone and should be read in the series order. It is a new adult, contemporary romance perfect for The Kennedy Brothers fans. Told from both points of view, with a happy ending.
Ireland may never be the same, again as Siobhan Davis takes us all on holiday with the Kennedy family in THE IRISH GETAWAY. Faye is going home for a visit and Ky is right by her side, while the rest of the Kennedy boys turn heads, hearts and toss a few punches as they flirt their way through pubs and parties. It won’t be all fun and games though, as Faye gets to know her newfound family and iron out a few relationship wrinkles there.
I think Siobhan Davis had some fun writing this brief trip as we find it difficult to avoid Faye and Ky’s over-the-top moments of demonstrative love, both physical and verbal! No wonder the rest of the boys give them heck! ...And let’s not forget the boys, eye candy superstars who seem to impress all of the girls with their charm and a few guys with their fists. Pheromones and hormones are moaning in Ireland, for sure.
Certainly action-packed, definitely filled with some emotional moments and the smile factor is off the charts as this lighter than cotton candy snippet brings the boys, their parents and possibly some future love interests together for “LOVE, Kennedy Style.”
I received an ARC edition from Siobhan Davis!

I’ve been excited about The Irish Getaway from the moment Siobhan Davis mentioned a Kennedy Boys short story. Reading Loving Kalvin merely increased my desire to read this short story, the titbits offered leaving me super excited to find out more of the specific details. I hate to say it, but whilst I enjoyed this, it wasn’t quite all I had hoped it would be.
I have a very complicated relationship with short stories. I hate more than I love. With the Saven series, Siobhan Davis convinced me her short stories are more than worth the read. In fact, I’m impatiently awaiting the rest of those short stories. Due to this, I had high hopes for The Irish Getaway with Siobhan Davis being one of the few authors whose short stories I look forward to reading.
Truthfully, this is more of a three-point-five star read than a three star read. I did my usual debate of whether I was to round up or down, yet I’ve been in one of those weird reading moods lately where very little seems to be pleasing me in the way I hope. I’m still enjoying books, but I’m waiting on that one book that will blow my mind. I’d been hoping The Irish Getaway would be that book, and because it wasn’t I believe that is why I opted to round down. I know many fans of the series will give it a higher rating… but yeah, weird reading mood right about now.
The Irish Getaway brings Faye’s story full circle in a wonderful manner. We’re back where everything started, returning to Ireland to be giving one final tale from the perspectives of Faye and Kyler. As with the other Kennedy Boys books, this one was filled with drama and mischief. With all of the boys on vacation, things quickly get out of hand. Fun, fisticuffs, and the other ‘f’ word you can easily fill in without me saying.
I feel as though this story gave us a nice insight into many of the future Kennedy Boys books. We get to see glimpses of things that promise to blow our minds in later books. In fact, I think my preferred release order for the future books has changed. I’m even more excited for certain stories now that I’ve been giving a little bit more about some of the boys. These little tasters do plenty to build up an appetite yet nothing at all is solid – things are very much open, and there’s no telling what Siobhan Davis will bring us.
Whilst this story did give us lots of little things, I feel as though it never quite reached the one big bang that we were given with the main books in the series. It was lots of little explosions, and whilst they were lots of fun, they never really reached the intensity of the one big bang I’ve come to love in the other books. It pulled everything together well, we had some nice moments, but it didn’t quite move me in the same way the main books in the series have.
Overall, it was an enjoyable quick read. In addition to the little something more added by the short story, we are also given some bonus scenes to go with the Kyler books. Without a doubt, it is worth picking up if you’re a fan of the Kennedy Boys.
Honestly, I think it’s just my current reading mood that left me feeling a bit out of touch with this one. It was fun; I just wanted something to truly blow my mind.
Bring on Saving Brad (I’m more hyped for it now after the snippets of drama we get to see in this).
Kyler and Faye :-) My favorite Kennedy Boy and his girl. They were the stars of this novella, so how could I not love it?!
The Kennedys are going to Ireland! Ky and Faye spend three weeks there on their own, and then the rest of the family joins them after that. Those first three weeks are a blissful, contented time for them. They make their own memories in Faye's home, which help her in dealing with the many memories that haunt her as she misses her parents. I LOVED when she brought Ky to her parents graves. He introduced himself to them, giving a very touching speech and ending it with “I will love her, protect her, and support her for the rest of my days. I give you my solemn promise.” It was so beautiful and so romantic!! Kyler is such a romantic guy! Who would have thought that when I first started this series with Finding Kyler, he would turn out to be a romantic?! “I will always be here for you. No matter what. My world would cease to exist if you weren’t in it, and that’s not something I’ll ever consider. I’m going to propose to you one day, Faye.” I kiss the back of her hand. “I want marriage, kids, everything, with you.” *sigh*
Anyway, I know this isn't ONLY about Ky and Faye!! So, now they go to the airport to meet the family. "Alex is leading the posse as they step out through the sliding doors, and, honestly, it’s like watching a trailer for the latest hot boys’ movie. A quiet hush settles over the place as my cousins saunter toward the exit like bona fide movie stars." The Kennedy Boys are in Ireland!!!!
Well, as you can imagine, the first thing the boys do is go to a party! In fact, they go to a number of parties. And these Kennedy Boys really like to stir up a lot of trouble! Kennedy Boys gone wild!! That's all I'm gonna say!! Oh, and Faye is definitely related...she's quite a spitfire herself!!!
This book is packed full of Kennedy adventures that you won't want to miss!!
This was such a fun read full of the usual Kennedy crazy! I loved all the romance and family love that is swirled throughout the pages!
You get to follow Faye and Kyler throughout their time in Ireland for the summer! The scenes had me wanting to jump on a plane and head to Ireland myself!
I love how much the characters seemed to have grown in the time on their vacation and how much love is within the story. It makes you smile through all the pages and never wanting it to stop!
I can't wait for the next book to come out in this series, I am hooked to the Kennedy family and anyone else who reads this series will definitely be addicted too!
Please keep in mind this a novella further into the series, so be sure to start with Finding Kyler so you don't get spoiled on the whole story!
Do not let the length of this novella deter you from purchasing this. I know that sometimes I am hesitant to purchase the in-between novellas, but trust me, this is not one to miss! The Irish Getaway is jam-packed with that Kennedy-style drama we have grown to love and crave as well as very well-placed plot tidbits regarding each character’s individual story. We also get to experience the steamiest scene between Faye and Ky to date. Let me tell you, I am not sure if it gets hotter than that. Fanning my face right now!
This will only get you pumped to find out where Siobhan is going to take all of these characters, and I completely trust that she will deliver a delicious heap of drama with each one. Get ready for a plot teaser for every Kennedy boy which will leave your imagination running wild! I also hope that Siobhan continues these Faye and Ky POV novellas throughout the series because I truly adore being inside their heads—especially with how lovey-dovey they are now. I also am crossing my fingers for some novellas featuring all of the adults at some point. I am dying to know what goes on inside James’ head as well as the POV for Adam, Alex, and the mysterious Saoirse.
If you haven’t read Loving Kalvin yet, I highly suggest reading this one first since it is a great segue into his book.
I love that this is set in Ireland, and the intense drama really reminds me of Skins (the UK version) which is one of my favorite all-time television series. Therefore, if you enjoyed that show, you will not be disappointed with this series!
Please, please for the love of Pete, do yourself a favor and buy this ASAP!
I received a BETA copy of this book and volunteered to review it.
I really love the Kennedy boys series and this novella was no exception. It was great to go back to the original couple and see them interacting and in Ireland no less! And to make it even more great, eventually the rest of the Kennedys join in and we even get to see Adam and Whitney again.
The family dynamic is so interesting to me. This many boys in one family, and how different their personalities are even though they were all raised in the same household. I like how we got little hints and teasers as to what each of the brothers own stories might be about. This novella made me more anxious for some of the boys' books that I wasn't really thinking about before.
The other thing I really enjoyed, was the alternate POV scenes at the end of the book. We get a peek into what other characters were thinking and doing during pivotal scenes in the first few books. I love when authors give us that taste into the mind of someone else!
If you have enjoyed the Kennedy Boys books so far, you're going to love this novella. If you haven't read any of the other books yet, I highly recommend them and suggest you read at least the first three books before reading this novella.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
The Irish Getaway is the Kennedy's summer vacation!! It must be read after you've read the first 3 books in this series. It is a novella, but without knowledge of the previous three books, this book will be so confusing to a reader. Plus it has a lot of bonus content that can't be truly enjoyed without the background from books 1thru 3.
Faye and Kyler start the story off in Ireland by themselves, which I really enjoyed. I love this couple so much. They've been through hell and back (many times) so it was nice seeing them finally enjoying life, together.
I really enjoyed the first meeting between Faye and her grandparents - it was just really sweet. Watching Kaye interact with her step-sister Whitney was interesting also and I hope we may see more of Whitney in a future book.
One thing I really enjoyed was seeing all of the Kennedys in one place. I felt like we got to know Keanu, Kev, Kent and Kade a little bit more too. I know it sounds like a lot of characters are in this series (and there are) but it's not too overwhelming or confusing, which says a lot about Siobhan's writing.
Siobhan did a great job of giving us a follow up to Faye and Ky along with tid bits of what we could expect from the other Kennedy boys in the future. The bonus content was a nice addition and gave us different insights to scenes from previous books along with hints at two future books!
I highly recommend reading this after reading the first 3 books.
I'm so glad we got another glimpse into Faye and Ky's life after their part of the series ended. Those two are goals. And of course no Kennedy Boys story would be complete without loads of family drama and brothers behaving badly. And Faye going all spider monkey in that one scene had me laughing out loud. This short story was a lot of fun, and I'm so excited for the next book in the series. The bonus content at the end was great as well, and I loved reliving scenes from previous stories but from different characters points of view.
***I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary advanced reader copy of this book.***
This novella was perfect. It was the perfect combination of fun and drama. I feel like Siobhan used this novella really well as a vehicle to set us up for other books. It's all very subtle, but there are just little tidbits she's dropping about some of the auxiliary characters, and I think it's so exciting because I can't wait to read everyone's story. I really liked getting to hear about their trip to Ireland. Its was really neat to see more interactions between Adam and Faye, and Faye and Whitney. I really liked seeing Faye meet her grandparents. And I really loved getting to see more of the other characters like Keanu, Kev, Kade, and Kent. It was also really neat to see all of the characters in one place, because normally Kade and Kev are away at college, and during the other stories, people had work and school, so with everyone's busy schedules you weren't seeing them all together. It was really neat to see them all be together. I really liked it, I'm so excited for all of the future stories that will come after this!!! :-) If you are a fan of the Kennedy Boys series, this is a must read!!
This novella is like a transition between the books in the series. It fits between Finding Kyler and Loving Kalvin, like a dessert course between dinner courses. The whole Kennedy family and Faye travel to Ireland. There they will do the touristy thing plus meet with Faye's grandparents from her biological father, Adam.
Faye and Kyler are an established couple, and their scenes are definitely cheesy with all the loving and sexing. I get a kick out of seeing Kyler so devoted and accommodating, as compared to the beginning of the series, when he was so hostile and unhappy. They spend a couple of weeks alone, meeting with Faye's BFF's Jill and Rachel. Then the rest of the Kennedy clan arrive, for a family vacation. There are a couple of parties, one before the Kennedy clan arrive, where we meet Luke, Faye's ex, and the first conflict in the novel. Ky doesn't like when Luke gets all handsy with Faye, so Luke gets thrown out of the party. Next party is the Welcome to Ireland party, held in Rachel's house. This clan loves to party and riot.
So they travel all over Ireland, submitting to Alex's very ambitious travel itinerary, visiting all the tourist places that can exist in Ireland. I loved hearing about all these places, so I can make my own list if I ever make it to travel to Ireland. All the family got along on this trip, except for Kent who continues to cause trouble. The whole gang has a great time, partying and getting along, with the usual bickering and spats between siblings. The older Kennedy's also have their partying and fighting, as per usual. Faye gets to be with her new family and gets another chance to experience her half-sister Whitney's hostility, which is based mostly on jealousy. She's not the only girl in the house anymore. The twins Josh and Jake are adorable. And Faye's new to her grandparents are awesome and youthful.
The story is very light and airy and fun to read, nothing too deep, just touching on all the different hot spots in the story so far and hinting to where the series is going. As per Siobhan's style, there's a little of everything and the mixture is totally entertaining.
As a general rule, I avoid short stories and novellas like the plague, always wanting more and usually left unsatisfied with what I get. Well, I do make an exception when it comes to novellas that are set as part of a story or world I already know (and love!) with characters that I am already invested in, and this is one of the few exceptions. This book picks up a few months after the end of Keeping Kyler, with Faye and Kyler on vacation in Ireland and the rest of the Kennedy clan on their way to meet them. This is not a standalone and needs to be read after the third Kyler book, otherwise you are missing out on a lot of good drama and character/plot development.
This book perfectly leads into the next Kennedy book, Loving Kalvin, which I am sure is really good and full of the drama and heat that I have come to expect, but to be 100% honest, I am so desperate for Brad's story, Saving Brad, that I don't know how I can wait. I already love everything about Brad, and if Kyler and Faye weren't just so freaking cute together I would have rooted for Brad. But add in the fact that Rachel will be in Saving Brad, where after reading this novella I knew I had to learn more about her. I know about the demons lurking around Kalvin and Lana, but Brad and Rachel are a new kind of problem I would love to solve. Oh, and can I have a story about Keven like ASAP too! I know I have a lot of demands, but Siobhan has created so many great, layered side characters for me to become invested in I can't but help to make demands.
This was a great end note to the drama that has been Faye and Kyler, and I loved seeing them together and happy, without the obstacles and danger they had currently faced. Sure there was new kinds of drama here, with so many dominant personalities running amok, but Faye and Kyler were an unbreakable team here, and the setting is Ireland (which is my favorite place!) so I was swayed to love as well. They are so sweet, romantic and mushy together it can't help but to melt your heart (regardless of what the other Kennedy's say!). Oh and expect a LOT of heat thrown in short amount of pages, you may need to fan yourself, just saying. I am excited to start my journey with the other boys, but I really hope to see happy Faye-Kyler love in the background because they will always be my favorite.
The Irish Getaway by Siobhan Davis is book 3.5 of the Kennedy Boys series and it ideally should be read after the first three books of the series; Finding Kyler, Losing Kyler and Keeping Kyler.
“I love him as deeply as he loves me, and I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that he’s my forever.” - Faye
Yet again, Siobhan has created another addictive story that had me experiencing so many emotions as I read about Faye, Kyler and their families growing closer and showing their love for each other. The Irish Getaway was brilliant and I loved it from start to finish. Plenty of ‘Kennedy drama’ and laugh out loud moments. Throw into the mix moments that have you smiling, wanting to turn on the fan to cool down or trying to hold back the tears, and you have the perfect combination for a story that will remain with you for days after. There wasn't one thing that I didn't love about this book and I'm so glad that Siobhan has written it. Thank you, Siobhan!
“I was just thinking how gorgeous you are, inside and out, without even trying. And how lucky I am to have you in my life.” - Kyler
I feel the trip to Ireland allowed Faye to continue healing after the death of her parents. Having Kyler there helped her immensely as he gives her the love, strength and understanding she needs. You can see that Faye and Kyler have grown as a couple and that their relationship is going from strength to strength. I think it was important for the couple to take this journey and having their families join them made it even more special. Faye gets to spend time with the new people in her life and this is a great gift for her after everything she's gone through.
“As long as you are in my life, I’ll always be happy, and I’ll always know where home is, because it’s wherever you are.” - Faye
The descriptions of Ireland that Siobhan uses are so visual and it felt like I was there. Despite living the UK, I've not yet visited Ireland but I want to even more now and when I do finally visit, I'll hopefully get to see some of the amazing places Siobhan describes. I loved seeing Faye back on her ‘home turf’ and with her two best friends who she's clearly still very close to even though she now has a life in the US. All of Kyler’s brothers join him in Ireland and Siobhan shows perfectly what each of their roles are within the family. All the brothers are special and the women they'll eventually fall in love with are very lucky.
“On countless occasions, I’ve wondered if I told my parents enough that I loved them. If they died knowing how much they meant to me. From now on, I’m not going to shy away from telling the people I love how I feel about them.” - Faye
Next in the Kennedy Boys series is Loving Kalvin, book 4, which is out now and then it's Saving Brad, book 5. You can find teasers for both at the end of The Irish Getaway along with a couple of extra treats.
* I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of The Irish Getaway and all opinions are my own
*I received an eARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.*
After all the chaos, the Kennedys along with Faye head out for a much-needed vacation. But wherever they go, trouble follows. Will they be able to enjoy a normal holiday like any other people or will chaos break loose again?
*A Little Spoilerish!*
This book wonderfully fills the gap between Keeping Kyler and Loving Kalvin. All our favourite characters are present in this book and it was indeed a fun ride. Kyler and Faye, as usual, were inseparable from each other and we also got to see a bit of a mature side of their relationship. They were in the stage of their relationship that despite everything jealousy had no place and I seriously loved their trust in each other.
All the other Kennedy boys were pretty fun to read about. Kent was notorious as usual and the other didn't back out of mischief if they got any chance. Faye and Whitney's relationship was pretty rocky, though we did get a glimpse of how their relationship could be, I really hope Whitney is able to overcome whatever's holding her back from fully embracing Faye as her sister. And it was great to see Faye with her people, after all she went through, she deserved this happiness.
Overall, The Irish Getaway was a pretty good and engaging read. Though I felt the much-needed punch was missing, the characters made up for it. The plot was executed neatly and I fell in love with the characters all over again. I loved the romance between Kyler and Faye. The writing was smooth and the pace was even throughout the book. This book was a pretty fast read and I easily finished it in two sittings. I can't wait to read the next book in this series! I'm so freaking excited for Brad's story!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book courtesy of Lola's Blog Tours and the author. Thank you so much for the reviewing opportunity!
3.5 stars
The Kennedy Boys go wild on vacation in Ireland!
I gotta admit, this sounds like pure heaven! After all the drama and crapstorm that hit the Kennedy household, I say they deserved a vacation and what's the best place to start other than Ireland? I was excited to start the novella hoping that it would be an extended epilogue to Faye and Kyler's whirlwind romance and I got more than I bargained for, it's definitely heartwarming to read how in love they both really are! I was also excited to be reading more about Ireland as I've always wanted to visit there someday.
Of course, the Kennedy's wouldn't be complete without drama. Wherever they go, mayhem ensues, and even a vacation to Ireland couldn't prevent the inevitable. While I enjoy a good dose of drama, I felt that it may have dampened my excitement for the novella and I couldn't fully immerse myself into the story, hence my lower rating. Nevertheless, the snippets from the other Kennedy's boys stories, including Brad, made up for it and I found myself geared up for their release!
Overall, The Irish Getaway was a fun addition to the addicting series and I'm still pacing a hole for Saving Brad.
Review: The Irish Getaway is a novella that follows the events of Keeping Kyler - The Kennedy Boys 3. We start our summer vacation with Kyler and Faye staying in Faye's home in Ireland. They have been by themselves for a week or two and they have been enjoying each other's company. This book went straight into action. After all Kyler and Faye are perfect for each other.
The rest of the Kennedy clan arrives and goodness the boys are just awesome. We get to see more of Kent, and things are interesting between Keven and Kaden (the older brothers). We also see more of Faye's family, including Whitney. I wish Brad would have been around as I missed his moping over Faye.
This is a nice follow up to the events in the third book. It gave me more of the whole family. One of the things I found odd, is that I read Loving Kalvin when it came out last month, and so his story-line was out of order here. I would recommend reading this one before Loving Kalvin. Also, the bonus content was amazing. You get to read the first encounter between Faye and Kyler from Ky's perspective, it was intense. :)
The newest addition to the Kennedy Boys series by Siobhan Davis, The Irish getaway throws us right back into the never dull, sometimes chaotic lives of the Kennedy family. The cheese factor is high with Ky and Faye and everyone calls them out on it, humorously. The interestingly complex parts of the story involve a mystery dealing with Rach, the conflict between Kal and Lana, the group fight, the sisterly contention between Faye and Whitney and the odd, but funny conflict triangle with James, Adam and Alex. I also enjoyed the bonus reads about Ky, Faye, Brad, Kalvin and Lana that are included with the arc. Thanks Siobhan, for the extra reading material! 5 stars for this quick read addition to the Kennedy Boys series.
*I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
Now that two people liked the review, I try to write the review in more detail without giving away too much of the story. At the beginning the story concentrates on Faye, Kyler and Faye's Irish friends. Then the rest of the Kennedy family joins in. Faye's family also explores Dublin and Faye and their cousins explore the nightlife. The journey continues and other people join in: the biological father of Faye, her half siblings and her grandparents. Faye and Kyler have a good time and will visit Ireland again.
The Irish Getaway is a short novel in the Kennedy Boys series and should be read after reading the first three books in this series. It is an amazing book because the author, is magic with her words. The Irish Getaway is an action-packed, fast-paced adventure packed with mayhem, family drama, passion, mystery, conflict, humor, emotional moments, and plenty of heat. It also contains bonus scenes for up coming books.
I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.
I love this series, there is so much drama and intense emotions that follow. You have to have read the first three books in the series for any of this one to make sense but why wouldn't you want to read them, they are awesome! I totally can not wait for Brad's book! I received a free copy of this book and volunteered to review it
DRAMA...Coming and going...and I love it! Those Kennedy boys sure can get themselves into some deliciously fun trouble. If you have not read the three books before The Irish Getaway, I suggest you do that right now. Thank you Siobhan Davis for the all the Bonus Content! What a great surprise. Now, I am off to read Loving Kalvin.
The Irish Getaway is a gift to all of the readers who fell in love with Kyler and Faye; who endured their first roller coaster year together, and now want a glimpse of their HEA. It's full of fun, passion, and of course plenty of Kennedy drama.
Faye and Ky are in Ireland on their own for 3 weeks before the rest of the Kennedy clan invades the Emerald Isle. Ireland has never been hotter! Faye wants new memories to replace the broken hearted ones she had leaving Ireland after her parent's deaths. So the two visit her favorite places, see her friends, and spend plenty of "quality" time together. Hot, steamy quality time! After surviving their past year, they deserve this little slice of heaven. Once the family arrives the drama begins. Estranged spouses are getting along, but brothers are not. Bad behavior ensues; drinking, sex, fighting and this is all before we add in Faye's new family. Faye's family can't match the Kennedy's for pure drama, but they seem to be trying their best. I will say, Faye's grandparents are adorable!
No one does a novella like Siobhan. You get an entertaining story, but you also get a bridge to coming books. She manages to drop little tidbits that come into play later on. Throwaway comments that are clues as to what will come. It's a literary scavenger hunt. I now need to follow up with Keanu and Selena, Kent, Kevin and Kade, and Rachel. So many Kennedy's to fall deper in love with!
Faye and Ky lovers will delight in every second of this over the top love story. It's incredibly satisfying told in a dual POV. Their love and devotion will make you giddy. I recommend reading it between Keeping Kyler and Loving Kalvin if possible just for continuity's sake. ENJOY!
Rated 5 Stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kindle Unlimited Read Read 2 Times
Dublin holiday troubles
5 Star Kindle Unlimited Read I fell hard for all the Kennedy brother's from the start and love it when they are together. However, sometimes touch family can open a can of trouble. That is what happens on the Dublin trip. It also opens storylines that I can't wait to read. I'm excited for this series and is is among my favorite series.
I have loved Kyler and Faye hard every since their first book together. A friend recommended the Kennedy boys series to me and I read them all. This book Was an extra book that I loved reading. I love Kyler’s possessiveness toward Faye. I love his love for her and I love their relationship. I loved getting to know more about Faye, her family and her Irish history! This book was fun and such an amazing read!
*** Complimentary ARC Copy Received from Siobhan Davis which I voluntarily reviewed*** As always Mrs Davis didn’t disappoint one bit with this short novella. It has all the fun, moodiness, secrets and more. Faye and Kyler went off to Ireland first the first leg of the Kennedy Family Holiday and I can just say that boy at some point I was too feeling a bit icky with all the love these to share, but it’s so sweet anyway, and the sexual chemistry these two youngsters share is amazing, and it make you nostalgic thinking back to days you were young and so in love. Lol Even thou this was a short read it had a lot of fun moments, and Kennedy charm and it was really fun to read. We get to spend some time with Faye’s two best friends Jill & Rachel and I hope to get to know them too, especially Jill’s story as there is a few bothersome things going on with her that we have yet to uncover, and as for Rachel I’m sure in Brad’s book we are going to get to know her a bit better too. The reason Faye went back to her home country is to get to terms of losing her mother and father and to meet her extended family, as yet she has met her twin brothers Josh & Jake only nine year old but they sound like two sweethearts, but for Whitney Faye’s sister there is animosity between them that can be cut with a knife. Can’t wait to get to know Whitney a bit better and I truly hope that Faye and she can work things out between the two of them? As for the other Kennedy Boys especially the two older brothers Keven & Kade, their stories are bound to be just as epic to read. I’m not going to talk a lot about these two as it’s a bit hard to read them especially with all the secretive stuff they have been up to. As for Faye’s father Adam he really is trying his best to bring his family together and help Faye to blend in with her extended family and he really is sweet and very endearing and it makes for a great story. In this short story we get to meet Faye’s grandparents Eileen & Richard fleetly and what fun people they seem to be and they’ve accepted Faye and the Kennedy’s with open hearts and arms, and it proofs that they all will fit in just fine. I love the grandparents a lot they have great sense of humour and Richard is quit a jokester and Eileen just loves the Kennedy boy’s charms and good looks. He he he
As you all know not one of the Kennedy boy’s books are without drama, fighting etc., and this one is no different. We get to see a bit more of the boy’s personality’s, and as ever Kent will drive you nuts with his shenanigans, and Faye and Kyler is also trying there bests to keep Lana’s big secret from Kalvin.
Thank you again Siobhan Davis for great reading and I sure can’t wait for the next book that will be Saving Brad.
Loved getting more of Faye and Kyler! These two are too cute! And I loved the Irish setting! It's wonderful to see the crew traveling to different areas of Ireland! Vacationing with the Kennedy's is no easy task, these boys are horny, rowdy, and seem to find trouble wherever they go! I'm so ready to see each one of these boys brought to their knees when they find the person that shows them that they really need to grow the heck up! I haven't always loved the Kennedy boys, and I'm on the fence about Faye's friends, but I sense that these characters are struggling with how to deal with their issues, so I try to not hold too much against them, and in the end, I look forward to seeing them happy. Faye and Kyler were wonderful as ever, and woo! these two have some passion between them! I loved getting POV from both Faye and Kyler; I especially love reading about how much Kyler loves Faye, he is too sweet for words, and after reading the first 3 books in this series, Kyler has definitely endeared himself to me. You'll definitely want to read these books in order, or a lot of things will be spoiled if you read this one first, so go on back and start with the previous books. The Irish Getaway is a wild ride with the Kennedy's, and is definitely a fun read! I know there's more books in the works for each of the Kennedy brothers, which I'm totally looking forward to because I love Siobhan Davis' writing! I also hope we get more Kyler and Faye! I'd love to see these two further in the future!
Visiting Ireland is on my bucket list and this book simply added to my desire. In this book Faye is taking Kyler to her old stomping ground. The two mix and mingle with her old friends and cohorts, stay in her old house, and visit her parents graves. Faye and Kyler's relationship is developing and mature. Yes, they are constantly in each other pants but they aren't worried about how each other feels about the other and trust they are in it for the long haul. Faye gets the opportunity to spent time with Adam, her siblings and meet her grandparents. For the most part, the relationship is sweet and I'm glad Faye has other family in her life than the Kennedys.
Of course, the vacation can't be complete with out the entire Kennedy clan coming along for the ride. Where there are the Kennedys expect drama and a HEAT!!!! Kent is still Kent. He is determined to love his way across the world. I know there is an eventual book planned for him, but I hope it is a long time way. We finally get to read more about some of the other brothers. I always felt they were simply confusing names.
I enjoyed this book more than most of the other books in the series and it made me like the series more. I am looking forward to reading Brad and Keven's stories in the future.
