HAWK is a full-length, standalone first book in a steamy and suspenseful new MC Romance series - Devil's Nightmare MC - by USA Today Bestselling Author Lena Bourne. No Cliffhanger, HEA Guaranteed!
Trying to stay away from him is a losing fight.
Hawk
I lusted after the gorgeous female MMA fighter Yanna for years through the computer screen, where I spend most of my time as the hacker for the notorious Devil’s Nightmare MC. When I finally meet her in person, she’s everything I hoped she would be. And more. As sweet as honey, but edgy and hard like a knife too. The perfect blend of sass and sweet.
But being with her means going against direct orders from my President, and could mean messing up the most important job the MC’s taken on in years.
The trouble is, I don’t care. I’d gladly lose it all for the taste of her lips and the touch of her sweet curves.
Yanna
I’ve been fighting my whole life. Fighting to win, and fighting to escape the danger I’ve been in since I was a teenager. Now here’s this guy, saying he can erase all that danger for me like it never was.
But he’s the real danger. His touches. kisses and strong arms around me make me soft, make me weak, make me unable to fight. If I surrender to him, he’ll take away all I worked for, all I sweated and bled for.
It’s impossible not to surrender to him, because that’s all I want to do, all I ever wanted, but didn’t know it. He will take me under and he’ll make me love it. Wanting him is the first thing in my life that I can’t fight.

I love hearing from my readers! Here's just some ways you can find me online...
Hawk was the sixth book in the Devil’s Nightmare MC by Lena Bourne.
Hawk was the MC hacker - the IT genius. He spent a lot of his life online behind a computer and could find anything. He also had an obsession with a Russian MMA fighter, whom he followed on social media. Lucky for him, he was going to be in Vegas for the MC for her next fight.
Yanna was an up and coming MMA fighter and she was preparing for her biggest tournament yet. Her entire life had been focused on fighting with no spare time for anyone other than her coach. We learned quickly she was an orphan and had some tragedy early on in her life.
Bourne took us through Hawk and Yanna’s back stories, introduction and relationship development while simultaneously navigating us through an MC conflict. They all ultimately came full circle merging into one storyline. It moved a little slower than I preferred but it was suspenseful, entertaining and ultimately enjoyable. Doc is up next in book seven.
Ok read. I just for the life of me couldn’t get into it. The writing was good, but I guess I just couldn’t get into the characters. They didn’t make me want to read to see them together. I didn’t feel their chemistry. There was lots of action and mob manipulation. It is an ok read.
I know that I might sound boring or repetitive because I always say this but I honestly don't care. My reviews are just that, my reviews so they need to tell you how I felt when I read a certain book. It's no secret that I love MC books. The more I read the more I love. It was supposed to make me bored but it's quite the opposite... I'm even more addicted. Lena Bourne has been giving me this genre for quite some time and each book drove me crazy. Her writing is hot and wild, scary or sweet and with so much desire... Dayum. Hawk is her latest release and it's the 6th book from the Devil's Nightmare MC series. But I need to tell you something first because it's important. Despite all books are standalones you should read all books in order because some events will continue to happen and all characters from previous books will appear in every book. You will not regret it. This book explores the lifes of Hawk and Yanna. Yanna was forced to runaway from her dreams and her country 9 years ago but she never forgotten her dream. The dream of becoming a MMA Champion. She doesn't want to get close to anyone because love makes you weak and the loss will kill you so why bother? Her big break is in Vegas so she goes there to win the MMA championship. Hawk is one of the MC brothers. He's loyal to his family and will do everything in his power to protect them. He might look different on the outside but he's loyal. He's an hacker therefor his name. He's a computer genius and there isn't a thing he can't do or find in a computer. Now he was sent to Vegas to keep an eye on a possible business partner. And all hell breaks loose. This story will put you on edge due to its suspense. The plot is amazing, very well written, super engaging and intense. Each scene made me sad, or mad, or happy or so hot. Dayum... The interation between the characters is raw and intense despite all the darkness that surrounds them. This book presented us with crime, punishment, greedy, betrayal as well as love, hope, loyalty and family. You might want to be away and death instead of facing your feelings but you can't runaway forever. One day... On day happiness will knock on your door and then what? Open or lock it? The struggles, the stubbornness almost made me insane but it was so worth it. Lena... This series is getting better and hotter by the minute and I'm curious... Curious no know what's next... I absolutely loved all the characters in this book. Especially Yanna and Hawk. Our heroine is MMA fighter Maryanna/Yanna Sokolova. She was born in Russia. Her mother died when she was a baby. She stayed with her grandmother on a farm. At age ten her grandmother died and the government put Yanna in an orphanage. While at the orphanage she tried to avoid a caretaker, who liked little girls. At fifteen, she ran away from the orphanage and lived on the streets. She was fighting on the street for her blanket when Dima found her and took her in. He told her she had talent and that he would train her to be a champion MMA fighter. For four years she trained and her natural talent showed. Dima believed in her and told her she had great promise to succeed. One evening, she retired to her room. It was around midnight and she still could not sleep. Out her bedroom window she saw three men approach Dima. She overheard everything and saw one of the men stab Dima three times. She was able to see the man's face. She recognized him as Yuri Kazarov. The youngest son of the Russian mafia king of Moscow Papa Kazarov. After they left she rushed to Dima's side. He told her why they were there and told her to leave Russia. Nine years later we find her in New Jersey as a rising star in the MMA world. Her coach, Vlad, reminds her of Dima. Vlad believes in her and is all about training and winning. Vlad and Yanna move to Las Vegas to partake in the biggest international women's MMA tournament that would solidify her standing. Only eight women made the cut and Yanna is one of them. She promotes herself on YouTube and Instagram and has a large online following that emotionally support her and her dream. Meanwhile in Pleasantville, a couple of hours outside of Las Vegas, at the Devil's Nightmare MC, Hawk is talking to the Prez Cross. They have a new client wanting to buy a sh*tload of guns from them. The New Client is Yuri Kazarov. Hawk is the resident hacker for the MC. Cross wants him to find out as much information as he can on Yuri. There is another task on Hawk's mind. He is a big fan of Yanna and is planning on going to the tournament to see her fight and hopefully meet her. This book is full of danger, action and adventure. This is a must read. Yanna and Hawk were great characters. I liked Yanna's sharp focus and determination. I liked her strenght. Her life had been rough and what she experienced hardened her. She decided to close down her heart to avoid feelings altogether so she couldn't be left behind ever again by someone she loved. Her life consisted of training, recuperating, video blogging - rinse and repeat. All she wanted was to prove she was somebody. Hawk has always been the unfitting one. He wanted to live his life free of constraints and greed which made him a sore thumb in his family. He was a hacker, a genius with a computer therefore too different from his biker brothers. He never thought he would find someone to make him belong. I liked him with his breathtaking smiles and layered personality. I liked Yanna and Hawk together too. Both of them fought their battles alone and either of them realised how lonely they were until they met. I liked how Yanna learned how to feel again at all, how she had to reach deep inside to remember those long lost feelings of love and belonging. Hawk was very much the figthter too with his willingness to fight for Yanna's heart determined to never give up on her. They finally found each other and from that moment they both belonged. Of course there were a few obsticles to conquer before riding off in the sunset but their journey was exciting, eye-opening and steamy hot.
The sixth book in Lena Bourne's Devil's Nightmare MC series was another very good read. It was well written and good paced, full of action. A great book!
Keep them coming in this series of the Devil’s Nightmare MC where a few of the brothers have already found the one and this time it’s Hawk. The man behind the computer, the man who all turn to too find dirt and hack into other’s lives, the man who can find anything and change anything with a keyboard and he has his eye on a female MMA fighter, Yanna. So when he’s in Vegas and so is she for a tournament, he can’t help but find a way to meet her and ends up protecting her when a man from her past decides to wreak havoc with the tournament and with his MC club. Yanna has her reasons for being ice cold and not getting close to anyone but Hawk seems to break through all her barriers, distracting her and showing her what she’s been missing. She has her secrets and Hawk doesn’t share much with her either which leads to mistrust and doubts....can they figure it out? A great great instalment in this MC club series and I loved the playful, always smiling, sometimes goofy Hawk but don’t let that fool you, he’s just as fierce and deadly like the others especially when the one he loves is threatened. I loved Yanna, the strong beautiful woman who could take down any woman or man but a woman who is just as vulnerable as any other. These two heated up the pages as the sparks flew and I loved that there was no over the top drama between them, no jealousies, and that both of them were straight shooters. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
I have read so many of this author’s mc books and I can never wait until the next. It’s impossible to set the stories down once I start them. This is another example of her ability to pull me in and make me anxious to see what happens next. The story between Hawk and Yanna is quite a change to the normal mc story line. Hawk doesn’t really fit the mc member stereotype. He has the fierceness of the lifestyle but not quite the hardness. Yanna has such a sad story from childhood on. She has faced adversity every step of the way. Even through the whole story she is faced with something continually. I really enjoyed these two together. The natural pull between them gave me that awe moment. I appreciate how the author brings some of the past characters into the stories. I also appreciate how the story has a ending so I don’t feel frustrated waiting for the rest of the story in the next in the series. The author also has the ability to make me feel I know these characters and want them to get a hea.
This is a really good addition to the mc gang. I really enjoyed it but I have to say I’ll always favor Ice’s story the most. I’m not sure it’s possible to top that one.
You know I often wonder how an author writes a series of books and still keeps them exciting and fresh. Unfortunately some of them don't keep up the momentum...fortunately for fans of Lena Bourne, yeah that would include me, she keeps you on your toes in every single book. Hawk's book was so great! We've gotten glimpses of him in previous reads, but we never got the complete picture and it is definitely worth checking out. He's charming and fun and dangerous all rolled up in a delicious package. He's so unique that it's only fitting that he falls for a tough, hard, but surprisingly soft, MMA fighter. This book is a roller coaster ride that grabs you and doesn't let you go until the last page...and frankly I'm already buzzing for more. Great job, again, Ms. Bourne...you're amazing! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book and highly recommend it and the whole Devil's Nightmare MC series...you'll love it!
Yanna is a female Russian MMA fighter who aspires to be the women's champion one day. When she was seventeen she witnessed a horrible crime and a few days later successfully flees to the United States. Nine years later, Hawk from the Devil's Nightmare MC has followed Yanna online for a while now. He realizes that while his MC is in Vegas on business he will actually be able to finally meet Yanna in person because she will be there for a tournament as well. Hawk notices that the Russian men his club is dealing with seem to also show a great interest in Yanna. Hawk decides to offer to be Yanna's bodyguard so he can protect her from them. With all the secrets and double dealing going on it's hard to know who to trust, but Yanna feels like having Hawk as her bodyguard is her best option. Grab this wonderfully written book to find out what happens to Yanna and Hawk. You will not be disappointed with this book!!

This is the story of Yanna and Hawk, which is a little different from the other stories I read. I like the twist of this story. I have not read the whole series yet, but I plan to read the others. Yanna is a Russian MMA fighter, who left Russia because the Mafia killed her coach. After she arrives in America, she meets Hawk who is a member of the Devil’s Nightmare MC, and he becomes her bodyguard. Hawk is not as bad ass as the other MC biker characters that I previously read, but he is hot as hell and MC is his lifestyle! Put that with the strong, fierce and sexy MMA female fighter, and find out what happens next! Will the Mafia come after Yanna? What secrets is Yanna hiding? Will Hawk be able to protect Yanna? The scenes are well written, fast-paced and flow smoothly from one scene to the next. This book will pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end.
Enjoyable, steamy, and seriously good read. I liked this one from the start. I got hooked on both Lanna and Hawk right away. This one doesn't focus too much on the MC, but it is always a part of the story and a main aspect of the background. Lanna is tough. She is a survivor. However, around Hawk she discovers her soft side again. Hawk is always dead on with his MC and his brothers, but this time he is distracted. Lanna has been an almost obsession of his for quite a while. You don't spend THAT much time in the computer without finding some joys along with the research. He knows her online, but in person, up close and real, is so much more than he had even dreamed of. To see such a pair of strong individuals become even better together is a great read for me. The Russian mob added to the story with just the right amount of tension and fear. I read this as an ARC and am voluntarily reviewing this awesome book.
I have been lucky enough read ARC's of all the books in this series and the author has done an amazing job of not only keeping the quality of writing excellent throughout but also maintaining the consistency of the characters and their personalities from book to book. As with all the books we have met Hawk in previous books and it was wonderful to delve deeper into his character and really get down to what makes him tick.
I really liked Yanna, she is a strong women who has overcome a lot in her life and who has done so not by becoming hard and bitter but just be being a fighter in every sense of the word, pure and simple. She has a sweetness and a gentleness to her that you don't expect but at the same time she has a core of pure steel which Hawk seems to have no problem melting.
The book is well-written and the story is full of action, danger, suspense and steaming hot chemistry that will keep you flipping the pages way too late into the night.
Another really good book in this series, Hawk is the club's computer expert and can find information on anyone or anything he is a super hacker more often than not he is kept in the background and not on the front line of club activities. He loves MMA fights especially the female ones and that's how he became a fan of Yanna's she is one of the best female fighters around. She is originally from Russia but has been in the USA for years, she ran from Russia when she witnessed a mob boss kill her coach. Hawk meets up with her at one of her fights she resists him at first but his persistence wins her over and they quickly fall for each other. The Russians are double dealing the MC and are also after her, the Russians get taken down and she is saved. These two fall deeply in love and he managed to save her career. It is a good biker story with some hot romance added in. Good read.
This book in the Devil's Nightmare series has so much going on that the adrenline doesn't stop pumping thoughout the whole thing. The romance is actually very sweet between these two tough, harden souls. Hawk is so adorable with his crush on Yanna. And, Yanna, in spite of her understandable high walls around her heart, finds peace and contenment in Hawk's arms. Then, you add the drama of the weapon running that the MC deals in mixed with the Russian's trying to make a "name" for themselves in Las Vegas along with Yanna MMA competition and you feel like your on a high speed chase. It is an intense ride that is completely worth it.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This book is about a Russian MMA fighter who runs to America after witnessing the murder of her coach by Russian mafia. She falls in love with Hawk (a Devil's NIghtmare MC member), who protects her from the Russians who find her in America. They want her to throw the championship fight or they will kill her as they have done to MMA fighters in the past. The big questions become: Will she throw the fight? How can she ever be safe from the Russians? Can she find true love with Hawk? There are great sex scenes and great fight scenes along the way as she tries to reach her HEA. I highly recommend this book.
Hawk is the Devil’s Nightmare’s computer guru so it’s not surprising that he has an online crush. When Yanna, a female MMA fighter, moves near him he finally gets the chance to meet her in person. Between dealing with Russian mobsters, an MMA tournament and a struggle for control of the west coast gun trade, Hawk tries to convince Yanna to take a chance on him. Hawk and Yanna make a perfect couple and their story is well written. I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily left an honest review.

I’ve read a lot of books written by Lena Bourne; as always she has written another excellent book. I’ve read all of The Devil’s Nightmare MC Series. She is one of my favorite authors and I totally love reading her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This was a very different Devil's Nightmare MC book. This book focused more on Hawk's and Yanna's relationship instead of the MC. I loved how Yanna was a strong and determined woman. Unfortunately, I did not believe in the relationship between these two. It was just awkward. Hawk said he wasn't a stalker but he did gush when he first me her and it was stalker-ish. At times, the book did not flow well. Overall, it was a good read and ended with an HEA.
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read.
This offering is a very good MC Romance. Theis entertaining storyline is well-written, intense at times, steamy and refreshing. The main characters are both strong, determined and fighters, though their strengths are different. Neither the H or h realizes just how lonely they are until they meet. Past hardships must be overcome before there is a HEA. This is a standalone read but is also part of a series. I enjoyed this book. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.
Vegas to fight, he just couldn't stay away. Yanna has fought to survive for years and she thinks having a boyfriend may distract her from her goal of winning her fights. Even though she resists Hawk at first, the chemistry just can't be denied. But can Hawk protect Yanna and do his job for the MC? The story has just the right amount of romance and suspense and keeps your attention from beginning to end! Love this series! I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
The mystery that has been Hawk was finally revealed, the more I read these series the more they intrigued I am by the men in this MC as they all have so much depth and interesting backgrounds but hawk was the most shocking.
Hawk and Yanna’s story is a page turner as a new crowd comes to play in the MC’s territory but all is not as it seems and Hawk for the first time is distracted from doing his job for the MC as Yanna’s safety is in question.
This is the 6th book in the Day Nightmare series and I've got to say this series just seems to be getting better and better with every subsequent book . This is an action packed rollercoaster ride of danger and passion , desires and bad boys and a couple that you will be rooting for . If you like your books to take you on the journey of a lifetime then this is that book . I volunterally agreed to read and review an advanced reader copy of this book .
This is a wonderful read and a great addition to this entertaining series. These characters are very well matched. Their attraction is powerful and their chemistry hot. What starts with a simple crush turns into an intensely emotional romance. With drama and danger tossed into the mix, this book is an excellent read. I'm posting a completely voluntary and totally honest review.
I couldn't wait to read Hawk's story and I was not disappointed. This author does MC like nobody else. I liked that Yanna doesn't give into the temptations of Hawk too soon and makes him work for it. I loved that Hawk is tenacious and protective of Yanna. This was an engaging MC read I quickly became invested in and followed their journey to a hea ending. I highly recommend this read.
The main characters, Yanna and Hawk, have a great connection to each other throughout the book. The Russian Mob brings in suspense and unknowns with Yanna and the MC. This book is part of a series but it can be read as a standalone. I have read the full series and it does help knowing the characters' backgrounds. I volunteered to read an advanced copy of this book.
I love that Lena goes the extra mile to make her books as interesting as possible. It is the details that makes her books so awesome. Each of her books is so different but so cohesive in the series and this book is a wonderful addition. She is my favorite steamy MC author and although this book can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend the entire series
I am not a fan of MMA fight books but this one was extremely well written and the main characters were very believable. Hawk and Yanna definitely bring the heat, the action and suspense in this book! Definitely makes me wAnt to look up more books by Lena Bourne! I received this book as a ARC and voluntarily leave this review.
This is an MC/MMA novel. I must admit I just could not connect with the characters in this book. I did really feel the chemistry between Hawk and Yanna. I guess one of the things about the book was that neither the MC or the MMA fights took center stage. I will read the series. I was given this book for an honest voluntary review.
I looked so much for Hawk's book and I was so happy to start it... but... I had not felt spark/chemistry between him and Yanna. Separately they were great characters but together there was no click... the plot was full of suspense and mafia plot/event. Even when this book had not hit the mark of 100%, but I CAN'T WAIT for the next book in the series!
