Self-Immolation

Rate this book
In 2001, the van that I had been living in for a year burned to the ground near Tijuana, Mexico. Five years later, I found myself bedridden after a car accident that paralyzed my left leg. Self-Immolation is a biographical novel that weaves together these two events in a detailed account of my search for love and meaning as a young man and my struggle to overcome my self-destructive nature.

I love how raw, gritty and real this book was! I don't usually read biographical books but this one had me hooked and offered some pretty good life lessons. I highly recommend this book if you want a read about self-discovery that will take you on one heck of a journey.
