Unwavering: Learning to Do the Next Right Thing in Your Walk with God

Rate this book
Consider it pure joy! Though hundreds of women gather weekly to hear Margo Fieseler teach them how to love and live God's Word, the details of her life before Christ are largely unknown. Most people see the compelling Christian teacher running a non-profit that opens the door for people to know Jesus personally, passionately, powerfully, and pre-eminently. But, there was life before Jesus. In this life-story devotional learn how salvation radically changed one woman's life, healed a marriage and family, and restored a soul as only God can do. In addition to an authentic and vulnerable narrative, you'll be able to study the Bible's application in your own life through devotions and journaling. Discover the key to walking victoriously, rather than in woundedness. God isn't done with Margo and He's not done with you. Nourish an unwavering faith as you learn to "do the next right thing" in your walk with God.

I really enjoyed Margot Fieseler's book. I met Margot in 2018 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin as I was passing through a cafe. She was seated at a table writing. She was down to earth, joyful, welcoming and present. She wished me and the friend with whom I was traveling well, directed us to the town's worthy sites, and gave us her card with her social media information and went back to writing. I subscribed to her email feed and finally, curious about her story, ordered this book. It is a Life Story Devotional, and it is replete with carefully chosen scriptures sure to drive home her point and illustrate the impact its truth and her prayer about what God had pointed out to her through it had on her life. I was a devout Christian for many years before developing a Buddhist practice. I love the dynamism of scripture, especially the verses which emphasize God's love for each of us. Margot's book is a reassuring journey through a life of faith which continues to mature and deepen.

The author shares her stories and strength mixed with devotions that many will feel inspired to read. Not every day is going to be a good one and we have all struggled at one time in life, so this book will connect with every reader in one way or another and is a great gift for someone who needs positive in their life.
