C.S. Wilde wrote her first Fantasy novel when she was eight. That book was absolutely terrible, but her mother told her it was awesome, so she kept writing.
Now a grown-up (though many will beg to differ), C. S. Wilde writes about fantastic worlds, love stories larger than life and epic battles.

She also, quite obviously, sucks at writing an author bio. She finds it awkward that she must write this in the third person, and hopes you won't notice.

Good Book

It was quite a pleasure reading this book. As one who loves reading about Angel's and Demons, I thought it was very good. Liam and Ava were quite a pair. The plot with all its action was great.

I loved this story. The writers imaginative and different view on Angel's and Demons had me hooked right from the beginning. The story is well written, moving along quickly and had me constantly guessing at who the villain was up till the end. I instantly loved the characters, especially Ava with her quiet but fierce strength. I need more Liam & Ava!! What happens next???? I am definitely adding this series to my "must buy" list!!

A little slow to start, but that could have been just me not completely focused. Interesting story, and I liked the Angel hierarchy. But it's not all peace, light, and love.

Paranormal romance is not my usual genre, but having read one of CS Wilde’s previous books, A Courtroom of Ashes, I dived into this with anticipation. This is an epic adventure of angels, demons, vampires, werewolves, Warriors and Erudites. Guardian Ava is tasked with protecting Liam, one of the Selfless, after he has lost his partner.

He’s angry, passionate and hell-bent on vengeance. Keeping him out of trouble is going to take everything Ava’s got, especially when a malevolent force is setting species against each other. And if that’s not enough to contend with, she finds herself powerfully attracted to her charge. Sparks are going to fly.

This is a wonderfully realised world with its own laws and codes of honour. The characters leap of the page and the action is breath-taking. There is a huge cast of beings and it feels as if there is much more to be learned, so it’s reassuring to see this is the first of a series.

I love reading about Angels and Demons. This book has it along with in-betweens like Selfless, Vampires and Werewolves. So it checked everything on my list for a fantastic read.

This is the first time I've had a chance to read anything from C.S Wilde and her world building is fantastic! I will be looking into her other books she has written.

I read this book within about 2 hours and I was surprised at a few parts in the story. The action between Angels, Demons, and In-betweens was amazingly written. I really loved the MC's ( main characters) and would love to learn more about them in the second book.  I loved the cover too! It pulls you in and made me what to read it from the get go!

I can not wait for the second installment to come out!
Great writing love!

*I have received an ARC in exchange for an honest review
I am now officially an Ava and Liam super fun. The two of them are just great. I couldn't stop loving each of the characters together. There so much smoking hotness that is coupled with great romance. The blend between romance and action is great in this novel. I liked how the world building was the main driving force, but the romance added forbidden fruit and a great way for sweet moments in such an action packed book. I also loved the world building. The angels, demons, and everyone is so cool. I really wished I had their super powers. Lastly, the writing is amazing in this novel. The author wrote the characters in such a way that you are sucked into their story from the very first word. I can't wait for the next installmet.

This is such a great read! Angels and demons, werewolves and vampires. Who are the good guys and who are the bad guys? I loved Ava and Liam! Ava is such a strong lead character. She believes in right and wrong and she knows that angels should be everything good, and her duty is to her charges. Nothing can change her mind when she decides what to do. And Liam is hot and hunky and he’s a great guy! I love how they started off as two people just stuck together by their superiors but they end up being so much more. I couldn’t put this book down, I had to know what would happen next! If you like urban fantasy and paranormal romance, READ IT NOW!

I received an ARC from the author and I’m voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Read the sizzling, breath-taking tale of angels gone bad!

Wow; this was an absolute amazing read.
This is an epic adventure of angels, demons, vampires, werewolves, Warriors and Erudites.
I love that it has so many different paranormals in this.
So action packed but at the same time there are so many sweet moments that happen with the forbidden romance that is happening.
Really loved the plot and storyline.
I am in love wiyh the characters and can't wait to see them develop further.

The prequel to the book was amazing! Thus, I was excited about getting to read this book. I was annoyed by having to adult, which kept me from reading nonstop! I laughed, I cried, I wanted vengeance, and I cheered! I was able to feel exactly what Ava, the main character, was feeling to the depths of my very soul. When the book ended, I wanted to scream and immediately start on the next in the series!! Superb writing style that keeps you hooked from one event to the next!

A wild ride

I have always enjoyed books about angels but this book took the angles I've known from religion and added another layer, a new mythology. The addition of In Betweens, who refuse to choose a side, some very bad angels, and some pretty good demons, shake up the genre in a fantastic way.

This is the first book in Angels of Fate story and I loved it! It’s a fast paced easy read that hooked me from the beginning. You are able to get a sense for the character personalities and are drawn immediately into the action of the story. Loved the intense chemistry between the main characters and the buildup of their relationship. I can’t wait to read the next book.

What an interesting story.
It took me a little time to get into the story but once I did I couldn't put the book down.
I loved the characters, especially Ava and Liam, with their connection sparking to life whenever they got close to each other.
I also loved Cap, she was brilliant and seriously made an impression on me.
The storyline was different, with lots of different types of angels that I enjoyed.
A really good book, thoroughly enjoyable.

Wow I usually don’t like books about traditional style angels but this was something very different and man did I love it.

The female protagonist is such a powerful and strong female who is just so truly good, you can’t help but be there every step of the way with her urging her on.
I cannot wait for the next book.

Received from Xpresso Book Tours

There is such a sweetness to the story, I enjoyed read it very much.

Ava was a guardian angel for the last century. She watched over people, whispered in their ears, make suggestions. She takes her job very seriously. Now she got a new assignment, that is a bit unusual-Liam. She is not assigned as his guardian, because Liam is selfless, who just lost his partner, but as his partner. The job tests her on every level. Especially when it comes to Liam himself. He isn't so easy one to crack.

There is a hierarchy to the angel world, different levels of angels, with different powers and roles. I like reading the book that has a good logical structure of supernaturals, it makes them very realistic. There is something bad going on within the angels and there just might more then they are being told. We follow them on their journey as they discover who they are.

The characters in the book are well developed. My favorite character is Ava. She grows a lot as a character and it's nice to see her going from naive and almost helpless, to discovering her bad-ass side.
Such a good book!

C.S. Wilde has created an incredible world in Blessed Fury (Angels of Fate Book 1), full of angels and demons and their allies in a complex war, sorta, that works in a noir urban fantasy sort of way. Pretty crazy sounding but boy does it come together beautifully. The leads here, Ava, a Guardian Angel who is inexplicably teamed up with Liam, a “ Selfless” tasked with keeping vampires, werewolves and the occasional lower-grade demon in check, are superb. You just know that there’s more to both of them. Finding this all out will likely take the entire series, but it’s a strong start here in this well plotted and well written book. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises - the book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.

This was my first time reading CS Wilde and let me say .. WOW .. Absolutely unique, emotional and gripping. This storyline has managed to flawlessly immerse the reader into a magical world of angels, demons, vampires, good and evil .. drama, suspense, heartbreak and sooo much action!!! I found myself transfixed and constantly on the edge of my seat, quickly turning the pages, anxious to discover how the story ends. I can't wait to read what comes next. Great book

This was an incredible start to a new series, well written and flows perfectly, was also edited very well with no misspellings that I noticed ( one of my biggest pet peeves since it pulls me out of the story).
I'm not going to tell you what the story is about since its in the blurb already on the page, just that it's a very good story. I would recommend this book to anyone, it has everything you could want except for car chases.

Wow, I absolutely loved this book! I've been looking forward to reading this book for a long time and I was not disappointed.
The words and storyline flow beautifully and the characters are well written. This story and chracters will keep you tied to your kindle and wanting more. I'm sure there is more greatness to come in the future books in this series, I for one will be anticipating the next instalment. The cover looks fab too. If you are a fan of this genre please buy this book and read it you will not be disapointed at all. Great read through and through. Thank you C S Wilde!!

This is a book where the standard fantasy characters appear - angels, demons, vampires, werewolves. but we also have some Archangels and multiple gods - and it would appear a multiple Demon at the top of their hierarchy too. So some differences in hierarchy and behaviours, especially as the main female protagonist is a Guardian Angel and therefore not expected to fight.

But there the differences stop.

The female has hidden powers that she finds when she does fight. She is someone that even the Vampire Queen and Alpha werewolf want to protect as well as one of the major Angels.

It is quite a nice read - damned by faint praise? It did not really make need to see what was on the next page and in the next chapter. And in fcat there were several points in book 1 where I thought it should have stopped - and then we would have really wanted to read book 2 to find out what happened next. I think an editor would have been useful to sharpen it up and  make Ava more intense as a character. And Liam was still rather shallow as a character even by the time we got to the end of the book.

Too much and too little

Hmmm.
I’m a bit stumped by this. Did I enjoy the book? Eh, it was just okay. It had an interesting premise and started out strong enough for me to take interest… then that interest waned and dragged as the book went on.
Honestly it was a roller coaster with no real direction at some points. I felt a lot of scenes were included for mere shock value as opposed to advancing the story along or getting the reader to want to solve the mystery before them.
It was kinda bad once we learned what really happened to Archie that I just didn’t care, like Ava saw everything heard the truth and got the reason why too and didn’t share it with Liam. Instead she woke up, had sex and that was it. The whole crux/catalyst of their pairing was solved and it was a big letdown and then we still didn’t get a real reason as to why Ava could do all that she can do.
Will I read the next book? Eh. I probably will, but there’s no rush at all to see how this all ends.
