Who in their right mind tells both his lawyer and the judge presiding over his murder trial, “F--k you!” while still in the courtroom? No one, right? Yeah, you’d be wrong about that. I did.
You’d say the same thing if you were just found guilty of a murder you didn’t commit, though. Call me crazy for going off like that in court, but trust me, you don’t know crazy until you see what happened next.
I never believed in superheroes. I certainly didn’t believe that I’d become one, or that strategically forming a harem of hot chicas and getting down with them to unlock my superpowers would be the key to my survival.
Did I say my survival? I meant the universe’s. No, really... that’s exactly what happened when I was taken to a galaxy of supers, thrown into a prison ship full of villains, and told it was up to me to stop them all.
Read on, friend, because it gets a whole hell of a lot crazier from here.
WARNING: This book contains violence and sexual situations, a harem, heads exploding, and ample blood. You might cringe, you will laugh, and hell, you might even cry. All of that is on purpose, I assure you. Second Edition.

After working on Marvel and other games and traveling the world, Jamie Hawke decided to settle down and write fun, quirky, and sexy pulp science fiction and superhero books.
You'll find his harem gamelit books in Kindle Unlimited and Audio, and might want to start with Supers: Ex Heroes 1. The book reached #47 in the Amazon store, including #1 Bestseller in multiple categories (to include Superhero, Cyberpunk, and Colonization).
It all started when Jamie was eleven, creating nude superhero comics with his best friend. What perverts! But hey, they were fun and provided good fodder for jokes up into their adult years. Now the stories have evolved, but they capture that same level of fun. Hopefully you will enjoy them as much as the author loved writing them!
Jamie also spent five years in Marine Corps intelligence, studied Muay Thai in Thailand, and lived in Japan for over three years. A lot of this plays into Jamie's books.

I listened to “Supers: Ex-Heroes” because I’ve enjoyed various superhero/ supervillain audiobooks recently, and this new release caught my eye. Yes, the blurb sounds like an adolescent male fantasy, but that’s the same thought that almost kept me from listening to Elliott Kay’s excellent “Good Intentions”. Alas, sometimes a book really can be judged by it’s blurb.
“Supers: Ex-Heroes” does not explore the concepts of good and evil, it presents a story of pretty much non-stop sex between MC Chad and pretty much anyone and everyone who breathes…as long as they’re female. It wouldn’t be fair to describe the book as PWP, but it would be fair to say the book is porn-with-a-plot-and-language-intended-for-pre-teen-boys.
The story opens with promise: MC Chad is snarky and feisty. Then it devolves quickly. Chad meets lots of superpowered girls. Some initially want to kill him, but most want to give him a HJ, BJ, have intercourse, or….hold “it” while he pees. No…just no! All of this action is necessary, because it turns out that Chad acquires superpowers by…wait for it….by having sex.
There’s some sort of a plot that involves greek gods, original superheroes dying off, Chad being destined to create a new group of superheroes, and falling into a black hole to another planet…but it was interrupted so many times by all the women wanting to have sex with Chad that I can’t remember how the plot was supposed to make sense. I rate “Supers: Ex-Heroes” 2* and have learned my lesson about hoping a book will be better than it’s marketing blurb.
So, this is pretty much a comic book sex fantasy. There's the hot crazy girl, the smart crazy girl, the crazy girl, and then there's actually a plot in here. The story is well written for the audience it's going after. There's nothing here to make this book of the century, but it is a solid book in the genre it's in. If you looking for something with plot, sex and super solid story line, this is it. It's almost as if this was an anime/manga where the MC actually does what he should be doing instead of holding on to some non-existent self imposed morality that does more to harm the story and irritate the hell out of me than actually go on and further the story. As far as the sex goes, it's not something shoehorned into the book. It does actually further the plot of the story. I know that sounds cheezy af, but it's true in this case. This is worth picking up.
This book is exactly what I expected based on the title and synopsis: a lot of super powers, a lot of sex, not the greatest plot or the most developed characters, but still a lot of fun. Imaging, if you will, a cross between penthouse magazine and marvel comics and this is what you would get. It was a fun read.
I really enjoyed this story it was rather intriguing. I really liked the 2 female MC's Charm and Twitch, the main character wasn't to bad. I am already ready the next one about his brother. Looking forward to seeing more of the girls hopefully in the near future.
1 star, I put a book down. 2 stars, I wouldn't read again and won't pick up a sequel. 3 stars, I won't read again, but maybe the sequel would move forward. 4 stars, I enjoyed it and would recommend it to a friend. 5 stars, I'll reread it, recommend it.
If I could give this 2 1/2 stars I would. That is because, unlike Fostering Faust where I was willing to pick up the sequel (when/if it shows up) because components of the plot were compelling enough to outweigh the annoyances, Hawke's books are free on Kindle Unlimited, so they don't require a investment in money, only time and attention.
That being said, how do you describe a writer whose writing is good from a technical point of view and his ability to communicate efficiently, but whose prose is not compelling? This is Jamie's challenge in improving his works.
Note that I read the start of Supers: Ex Gods and Planet Kill and have decided I will not read them. Ex Gods because it looks to be a clone of Ex Heroes, and Planet Kill because I find its premise distasteful...some of which we'll see in my response to Supers: Ex Heroes.
So first things first....Jamie admits this stuff is pulp-fiction, that it is harem, adult in nature, lit-rpg, and, if I can paraphrase, the fruition of creating adult oriented content he started by drawing naked girls in junior high. The fact that he provides these as a disclaimer is appreciated, and also helps to frame the review so that criticisms aren't because of incorrect expectations.
The book is set in an extended universe that includes some of (the ones I mentioned earlier) Jamie's other books. In this universe, as far as I can tell, the Earth is several hundred years older, with space travel around the galaxy along with the advanced technology it would require. There are aliens, mostly anthropomorphic enough to be able to have sex with (remember the disclaimer), and apparently some denizens who have super powers and are considered heroes or villians based on if they work for or were convicted / oppose the galactic super law keeping coalition.
Our hero (intrepid will never be used as an adjective for this guy), introduces himself (the book is narrated in first person exclusively) as he's found guilty of murder and rejects the verdict by cursing at everyone then being subdued and taken away. He is innocent because it was his brother who committed the murder, but the brother and victim were snatched via some portal and entity leaving He mentions he get beaten and tasered but only in passing, just as with the rest of the book no violence to himself is of particular interest as it doesn't progress the lit-rpg explanation of power and skill development, nor the expanding sexual conquests with his harem. He spends a few pages setting up the explanation of how he came from being a convicted killer on the way to prison to being transported to a prison space station for super-villians, with an ineffective and needless attempt to help him escape on the way. But get this, he was not with his brother, when the crime occurred, he had coincidentally just seen his brother enter a bank, and since he'd not seen him in a long time, he followed him in to say Hi...or something.
So Chad, yes Chad, wakes up in a featureless cell that had me envisioning the interrogation room in The Matrix where Neo's mouth gets sealed up. Then a voice in his mind forces him (Chat, not Neo) to be left to rot, or to choose to become the champion of Xin, an elder for the galactic super law keeping coalition. Chad hesitates only a moment before agreeing and being sent off to meet harem member number 1, Charm.
To sum up everything else, he has sex with her and others, never does anything non-consensual, isn't homophobic because he explains he has no problem with that, it just isn't for him, and gets super powers that increase and morph based on who he shares bodily fluids with. The overarching plot? Xin needs a replacement, and Chad, adopting the super handle Breaker, is that replacement, if he survives and does well in preventing the big bad guy who is going to show up and free all the little bad guys to make an army from doing so.
So back to Jamie and his prose. The guy writes in a way that the book is an easy and fast read, and a platform for explaining his super mechanics and sex scenes. The hero has no inner conflicts, the supporting cast's conflicts end up being "I'm a bad person. Your actions weren't your fault or didn't end up resulting in as bad a result as you thought, so you are not a bad person. Oh, Ok, let's have sex." The fighting is descriptive but evokes little visual imagery in the mind. As with the original subdual in court, you never feel like Chad is in any danger.
How about something good? The female characters, while lacking dimension and depth, are at least not really damsels, and the plot isn't around saving them, but rather working with them.
Unoriginal tropes: Fox girl One girl in the harem has to be the girlfriend but generously will share with others in the harem, but no one else. The girls have hangups about sex, but get over them with the hero. Hero has a big cock Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal
So in summary, here are my pros and cons of this book, to help you decide if you want to read it and others by Jamie.
Pros: Fast reading Has sex (I assume if you read this, except by accident you expect a little titillation) Has super heroes and super villains Lit-rpg (again assuming you are looking for that) There are more you can pick up if they are your cup of tea so you won't be waiting around Kindle Unlimited - though I did buy it before I signed up for Kindle Unlimited on the 3 months for $.99 deal
Cons: So many missed opportunities for plot development or fleshing out the story with descriptive content of things he introduces but then just drops (I count 4 things just in the introduction before Chad gets to the space station) Tropes and disconnected or unexplained decisions just to fill in the plot narrative Treatment of sex and violence is dismissive and sometimes distasteful (not directly in this novel, but references to Planet Kill and its premise are yucky) Chad's justification is really weak. Here is one of the notes I made (explaining how he feels about killing bad guys):
Although, it hurt to think about how many people I'd have to kill to get there. Not something I'd feel okay with...unless they were all really bad men>
That quote was related to the grinding required to level up, which I can't really tell whether is a valuable aspect of Lig-rpg or a mechanic no one has figured out how to dispose of, since it seems to distract from the story narrative all too often.
I might read something else of Jamie's that is not harem nor lit-rpg if I can find such to see if I enjoy it.
Framed for a crime he did not commit, the main character gets transported across the universe to be a hero (without powers). He does have power, but he must acquire them in a certain way. Note: the story does have adult situations.
The story has a very interesting premise. I will admit I do not usually read books with this much "action. However I knew what I was getting into before starting. I fyou don't care for that kind of book might want to move on but if you can get past it the story is good.
The term sexy romp is an understatement, but that doesn't detract from the general upbeat comic book-style story, with its elements of harem eroticism and Game Lit, which is sure to win Jamie Hawke a legion of new fans.
Chad is stunned when his brother appears as a hero, in a blink and you'd miss it rescue from a street mugging. Trouble is he's left to carry the can when one of the muggers dies and Chad's the only suspect! Sent to a vast prison colony in space designed to imprison superheroes gone bad and super villains, Chad wakes to find he's now got an AI brain implant (XIN), who tells Chad his only means of escape is to locate another prisoner, called Charm and beg her for help.
What happens to the other prisoners before Chad can start his search? Who is Metallica and whose side is she on? How do Chad and Charm find Twitch? Where does she take them and what happens when they arrive there? What is Chad's 'super' name? How does he get more powers? How must Chad prove himself worthy to be an Elder? Why does his brother have super powers and who's recruited the brothers and others? Who is the Blue Lady and where do Chad and the others find her? Why must they defeat Ranger?
As the action jumps from Earth to space and from incredible sci-fi adventure to amazing interactions of a more peaceful nature, you'll be bewitched, bothered and sometimes bewildered at how fast things change for Chad from his everyday ordinary life to superhero and superstud with more action than you can shake a stick at. Guaranteed to please on every level, I loved it - and you will too. Grab your copy today and tell all your friends not to miss out!
I loved his book Planet Kill and this one is even hotter! Who would have thought that possible....50 Shades of Grey is sooo Vanilla compared to this! And a whole new meaning to foxy chick! Just don't say that to her face....it tail....fur jokes! Pffft! Imagine "Hero's" , "X-Men and 100 shades of naughtiness....a bit of brutal superhero/supervillian warfare, stuck in a prison ship, a few star gates, annndddd.....having to choose potential allies from this ship....all the while trying to screw your way to the top ( not how you think) to " top up" as it goes...well, I think you will enjoy this. If you read the Shadow Corp series, the was Sam earns powers and weapons, like gamers do, it's all here, in one convenient spicy hot 🔥 package...pin intended!😈
A lot of potential almost all of it wasted. This book feels like it was churned out quickly for a bunch of horny teenagers. I liked the hero I would lose it if I was convicted of murder also but after that it became so bad I started skipping pages
2.5 to 3 stars, This one was okay and I think I will continue with the next book but it was just okay and it is not for everyone with all the adult content.

Final Notes... Jamie writes fun story for the guys perspective and enjoys playing off of characters of lore. Sex is the driving force in the story but the story is actually pretty interesting (yes you must suspend disbelief).
Holy crap this was a painful read. I could tell within the first few pages it was going to be bad, the obnoxious writing style and the excessive use of expletives. I LIKE swearing, but when your character does it all the time early on, then it's used to cover up a lack of depth.
The smut was okay, the problem wasn't, as other reviews say, that there was too much of it. Yes this is erotica, that is the genre and there was a disclaimer, go read one of the zillions of vanilla capeshit out there if you want that. No, the problem was that the sex scenes were irrational, like villains coming up behind us and let's have a handsie. Can I hold your penis while you pee? No. Let's not do that.
I picked this up because I thought it was written by Sarah Hawke, an excellent haremlit writer that balances plot and worldbuilding with smut, go read her if you get a chance. Her books are everything that this wishes it was. I almost threw the book down at 25% when I saw MC's name was Chad Bostwick, seriously dude, do you have no imagination at all?
This was....goofy....to be honest. It really does seem rather close to either a porn movie or one of those "letters" folks used to find in Penthouse magazines: basically there are graphic sex scenes with stories written around them, stories with little to no plot or that are just very devoid of any type of real story whatsoever. If that's what you're looking for, you hit the jackpot.
Now I am sure that is what Hawke was looking for; it *is* that genre of book. It definitely does not have the hook books should have to keep me interested (I am trying to get through 'Supers: Ex Gods #1 now....emphasis on the word "trying"). I will not be reading any more of the series.
What was I expecting? I dunno really; maybe just more than what I got I guess, a little more solid story, more world-building, more character development, more pulling the reader in to be involved in the story. I was foolish in expecting that but at least I got some good chuckles and eye rolls.
A fantastic adventure, but read this: "NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR: WARNING: These books contain gratuitous violence and sex, harems, a hot fox-like chick, breasts galore, heads exploding, and ample blood. You might cringe, you will laugh, and hell, you might even cry." Chad has an incredible adventure after he is convicted of murder, wakes up on a prison spaceship, meets, and gets intimate "for the cause" with Charm AKA Foxy, Twitch, Metallica, and Gale as they fight to save the Universe from supervillains. Non-stop action, both fighting villains and among the friendly “allies with benefits”, with lots of humorous episodes and witty repartee. A fun read if this is your kind of action and humor: take the Author’s note seriously; it’s an understatement.
What would u do if suddenly u get framed for a crime u didn't commit then get pulled into another galaxy and find yourself on a spaces ship? Not a normal ship, but a prison spaceship filled with the super-villians and you have no powers (yet!). Ya, this was a very fun read with lots of sea. The sex is because (spoiler), u get your powers from the other Supers with powers through sex... and your powers increase with the difference Supers u have set with... hee hee
This was so much fun and I am so looking forward to the next book.
It's certainly more of a teenage fantasy book. This book is certainly not for the prude. Though I think it would still be an enjoyable book without all the sex scenes in it. I find myself unable to put down a book once I start it so I had to finish this to be sure where the story was headed. Would i be reading the series? That I'm not too sure. This book is more of an erotica than a superhero book. So you are warned. Though I'm inclined to agree that it panders more to the fantasy urges of a horny male teenager than anything else. But you can't fault an author for choosing to write such stories. Stories are meant to be told anyway.
It's alright for low brow haremlit that focuses more on sex than story. MC wasn't very charismatic and OMG how many times can a guy think about one specific tv show in what amounts to a 2 day period. Seriously, he like keeps bringing it up constantly through the whole book, despite the fact he's in a precarious life and death situation, and BEFORE THAT he was embroiled in a court case that was to decide whether he would live or die. If that's foreshadowing for a future book, that's like punch to the face foreshadowing, tone it down. Not sure if i'm going to continue the series, i'm on the fence. 1.5 stars rounded up.
This is the second superhero erotica i read this week, and definetly the better of the two.
The first i thought would just be a bit raunchy, and I was mainly there for the superhero stuff...turned out to be horrible written porn...
But well that at least made me look for something to compair it to, and this was definetly the supirior book
I would have liked a bit more focus on the hero stuff, but it was still both funny and interesting, and unlike the first book this wasnt quit as explicit and had a sense of sensuality, leaving me pretty damn hot at several point. If that is what your looking for i would definetly recommend
Well I guess I should pay more attention to the disclaimer at the front of the book. I was warned that ther3 was sex etc in the book just did not expect such graphic and frequent episodes. I'm a fan of the genre but more character development and less reliance on the sex gimmick would have been welcome. Maybe I'm a prude or maybe I just wanted more fighting etc . This could have been a fun read but it was just not developed enough and one dimensional. Maybe an explicit content cover, I sure would have been mortified if I had shared this with one of my teens.
Certainly not a bad story, there are several like this, but this one did not grip me like others have. All the basic elements are there, but I found the action a little forced and simplistic, and the adult situations over the top and too much like you would find in Penthouse Forum. There are; however, some interesting concepts which may develop nicely in future books.
The blurb for this book was bad and edge worthy. But I was recommended it, so I will give it a try.
What the hell am I reading? The mental gymnastics these two women are going through is crazy. The set up isn't even well though out. It seems the author just wanted to write a harem book.
Well that was bad, convoluted, and went nowhere. At no point in this book did I want to know more.
