Kerry Rowett is an Australian Holistic Kinesiologist and Reiki Master who is known for helping her worldwide clientele create powerful results and transformations.

She now predominantly works with her entrepreneurial clients in her group program: Align + Attract, which teaches participants how to identify their specific blocks, get out of their own way, and how to align their energy to their goals: http://alignandattract.com.

Kerry has been evolving and growing her own business since 2009 at http://awakenkinesiology.com and has been teaching alignment to other practitioners and entrepreneurs since 2011.

Most business books discuss the “5 steps to this” or “follow my formula to achieve that” but for many creative & soulful entrepreneurs this can feel both stifling and intimidating. It can leave you wondering what will happen if you get it all wrong.

Kerry’s beautiful book teaches us that you can’t get your own business wrong unless you’re not aligned to it from deep within.

Plus each chapter includes insightful journaling questions so if you don’t know if you’re aligned to your business, you can figure it out and take steps to make it so.

I’d recommend this book to anyone starting out in their solo entrepreneur’s journey and to seasoned business owners looking for a boost.

Kerry makes you feel comfortable.
Having a small (micro) business can be very isolating and we are bombarded 24/7 with how to make a million with just a laptop and a piece of string.

Kerry's book is real. She uses Anna as her example through the book. I felt like I had slipped Anna's shoes on and was walking with her. The bit sized chapters give you the right questions to ask and time to think about and answer before moving on. There are some wonderful reminders and practical tips. It's to easy to be busy being busy and not actually achieve anything.

Align + Attract is a wonderful tool to put your business and life into perspective. This will be one of those books you keep near, with lots of book makes and underlining. It's not just a one time read or when you feel stuck. It is a fantastic resource to be used on a regular basis, it's the perfect partner to keep you heading in the right direction. I highly recommend.

What I love about this book is that Kerry shares a practical and engaging story about a woman setting up a business in the real world.

She is not preachy or pretends that everything will just be "fine" -- she is real about the challenges that entrepreneurs face, and gives so many practical steps and ideas to support the development of your business in a way that is truly aligned with the life that you want to create.

If you want to create a business that *truly* works for you, you must read this book. 5 stars from me!

I enjoyed this book and journeying with Anna, the main character as she becomes increasing clear about what does and what does NOT work for her, in creating her heart-centred business. Practical and insightful, this thought provoking guide has many useful prompts and questions throughout the story that give pause for reflection. I had some helpful realisations and believe this is also a great book for someone who dreams of starting their own heart-centred business. There's also a free journal to download and use alongside each chapter. Rather than just reading the book and then forgetting all about it when you put it down, you too can take steps and make changes whilst reading. Highly recommend!

I have been a big fan of Kerry and her kinesiology work for years now! So when she announced she was writing a book, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it - and I certainly wasn't disappointed!

Kerry's wealth of knowledge, valuable business insights and perspective is woven into this book beautifully, which is absolute gold - I'm soaking in every word!

Anna's story makes me feel like it has been written especially for me, which shows just how well Kerry understands her reader and what difficulties and challenges we're facing. I can relate to all the themes and blocks Anna experiences along the way to having a business she loves. It's real-world, up-to-date issues that she goes through, like comparing herself to others in her industry with their social media presence, having to set clear boundaries with people as well as her own business, and figuring out her true voice and how to connect with her audience in a way that feels good to her (webinar, Facebook lives, etc). It's inspiring, and encourages you to be proactive by having prompts along the way to reflect on where you're at with each theme Anna experiences.

Normally I'm hesitant with books that feel like you stop-and-start all the time, but I'm reading the book on my iPhone, so I type my reflections in Notes and then return straight back to the book. These reflections have helped me to push past some of my own blocks towards alignment (and lack of action!), and has seen me finally move forward in areas I have been putting off for months. This book is a must-read for anyone who is leading a heart-led business, especially in the coaching, kinesiology, and natural health space. I can't recommend it highly enough!

It's also important to mention that I was offered a free copy of this book as a member of Kerry's Align + Attract program, with the agreement that if I love the book that I'll review it somewhere online so it will help reach others who would benefit from it. However I loved the book so much I've since bought a hardcopy anyway to share with friends and clients alike!

As a member of the Author Kerry Rowett's Align & Attract group program, I received an advance digital copy of this book and I will buy a hardcopy of it for my library to refer back to! I did join the Align and Attract group program last year, but other things got in the way and I didn't get around to doing the program. I was hoping this book could then be a bit of an intro/overview of the program that I hadn't done.

The book was great. So practical and very easy to read, with quick, but thought-provoking journal activities at the end of each chapter. Nice short chapters that were easy to read and I actually finished the book (unlike lots of other books lately!). I loved how she described alignment through the story of Anna. I could relate to pretty much all of the same issues that Anna was facing in her business and I have taken away so much practical information and golden inspiration from this book. Now, after reading the book, I will go back and actually do Kerry's group program, which is there waiting for me (and my new life!). Highly recommend if you are feeling stuck and/or overwhelmed in your business - Kerry will help you to get unstuck and find your business groove.

I preordered Kerry's book, Align + Attract, at the beginning of September and slowly started to work through each chapter as the book was delivered into my kindle in late Sept. Slowly. At this time I was getting more and more sure that I needed to start a business, it felt weird to say "business" because this would be more -a sharing place, a tranquil space that i would create for my tribe to come and gain strength from, in a often turbulent reality (that of parenting "special needs" kids). Slowly I started to get more and more clarity. More confidence, and assuredness to back myself. I became convinced that this book was charged with magical alignment energy. I'm more sure of this than ever. As i write today, having just completed the book, I am on the brink of launching my little website, I already have a logo and am making social media contributions. What felt so huge and distant now feels tangible and real thanks to the practical way that align and attract grounds one into the now and the possibilities that exist when we move out our own way and take actions in line with the goals we have set for ourselves. I'm so grateful and recommend this compass to anyone in my position. I've gone from absolutely nothing but an idea and in just under 2 months made some pretty huge meters. Thank you Kerry

I was lucky enough to receive an advanced digital copy of Align & Attract to review. This book came at absolute perfect timing for me. I was feeling very confused and disheartened about my business and had completely lost my way. I was being bombarded by business advice but was so out of touch with what I really wanted. Reading Align & Attract felt like a deep sigh of relief. Firstly, it was an easy read- which is so important to me as both a Mum and a business woman (time is precious!). Secondly, the chapters are perfectly sized so the book can be read in easy chunks- winning! There are journal prompts throughout the whole book which to me felt like it was really walking the talk- it was actually making me stop and get clear and aligned step by step. And lastly, although the story of Anna was being told, it was truly about MY journey- my desires, my alignment, my business. This is one book I’ll be buying in hard copy so I can refer back to it again and again through my business lifetime.

Align + Attract is a breath of fresh air in a genre that is overflowing with systems and strategies that typically leave me feeling overwhelmed.

Having participated in Kerry's online Align + Attract course a few years ago, I was really looking forward to reading her book - and I'm delighted to say that it exceeded my expectations! Kerry brings clarity to confusion and provides a simple guide to reconnecting with the heart and soul of your business (i.e. YOU) in order to make decisions that are aligned with your true purpose and intent.

I particularly love that the lessons were embedded in a story. As I read about Anna’s journey as a creative business owner, I could see so many of my own challenges reflected back at me with uncanny precision. It was encouraging to know that I am not alone and that I can shift back into alignment at any time with a few key techniques.

Fabulous! Loved it...What a fabulous book! At the first chapter Align + Attract had me evaluating my business and looking to my intuitive deep inner soul desires and wishes on how to move forward. It helped me give permission to myself to unfold my business in line with my wants rather than focusing on what others are doing. It also helped me to direct my efforts into relevant and beneficial tasks rather than wasting time in some of the areas I was spending a lot of time in. I stopped and assessed where I was doing well and where I wanted to improve. It is presented in a simple yet comprehensive form and told in the form of a story that I enjoyed reading. I could see myself in lots of Anna's story, from the first soy latte! I will definitely refer back to the book time after time when I feel a little of course. I recommend this book for anyone engaged in developing their own authentic business. As a member of Kerry Rowett's Align and Attract group program and an early reader of her book I was amazed at how personally connected I felt to the main character Anna's story even though we have entirely different businesses. While reading, I could feel myself becoming more clear and grounded in my own experience. The Align + Attract journal, that is available for download with the book, created even deeper shifts in awareness about the directions I would like to take in my own newly developing business. This book is refreshingly relatable and offers many useful insights for business owners.
Every chapter covers an aspect of the relationship that we may have with our business.

Having been lucky enough to be a past client of Kerry's, I knew that this book would offer practical and insightful ways to create a business that is heart-centred. I loved being able to identify with Anna as I could see myself in so many of the situations. What I especially loved was the fact that the chapters were short, yet packed full of exactly what needed to be said for that alignment. The bonus? This is an outstanding book!

Whilst this is a book on improving business for entrepreneurs, it is a wonderful story of discovery.

You are drawn into the characters mind and you feel the feelings with her, because you have felt them too. You have your a-ha moments just as she is. You will discover your passions and blocks just as she has, and it will make you want to keep on discovering into the future.

No matter what business you are in, or even if you arent, and want mindset help on your climb up the ladder, this book is an excellent choice.

I know I will be reading this over and over, and using the techniques within many times.

I enjoyed the format of this book. Kelly uses a story format to help you relate to the topics she is covering.

If you are building a heart centered mostly digital based business you will enjoy this book.

As someone who has been in business for many years I didn't experience any major ah-ha moments, but I did enjoy the read and it provided some questions for me to ponder.

I would recommend this to anyone who is in the process of launching, or early stages of business.

It's a quick read and if you gave been in business for a while the journal prompts at the end of each chapter are great for anyone at any phase of business.

Better than any investment in a coaching programme I've made. This brought me back to my truth, my centre and began my re-alignment to myself. I also found myself not only agreeing with what 'Anna' realised but finally admitted to myself what I've known all along - that focusing on my wants for my life and business is what will ultimately work for me.

Great book for helping you see the wood for the trees

I enjoyed the way Kerry wrote the book. It's from the perspective of a woman called Anna, who is struggling with her business.
Kerry takes each issue she has and shows how Anna resolves it. Then you get to apply this to your own business.
I thought I was pretty chilled and on top of things, but through Anna's story, Kerry made me see a few places where I can definitely improve.
I think my husband will be grateful!
