The romsnce continued from the first book is deserving of 4 stars. (One star deduction for the lack of editing.) However, the sex devolved into the strong main character only being able to perform by reducing her new wife to a woman so unlike her actual personality that it became difficult to get all the way to the ending. Said ending was also rather abrupt. Also, after Alex and Beth's departure to New York, it felt as if two minor characters (Jo and Billy) were allowed to shanghi the story. This was probably better left for a totally separate book in which Alex and Beth and Poni and Lotty take a secondary roll. Instead, the approach left this story choppy and riddled with holes, as well the tediousness of Beth's changing into a submissive spim. Dissappointing. Not all strong characters need to engage in BDSM - it doesn'tprove their strength at all. This was unfortunate because I enjoyed the first book despite the lack of editing. I'm hopeful for better thing in the third book. Hope springs eternal.

4.5 stars. Alex and Beth get married finally! Also we get a side romance with new characters Billy and Jo and I thought that was great as well. Hate to love romance and both characters were likable. I adore this series. It’s sweeping and romantic as hell and this particular one was HOT. Alex is dominant as hell and it makes me swoon over her even more. She and Beth have some great times on their honeymoon to say the least. Some drama at the end that has me curious about things and I’m both sad and excited to get to the last book. I don’t want this series to end!
