Founded in 2012, She Reads Truth invites women of all ages to engage Scripture through curated daily reading plans, as well as online conversation led by a vibrant community of contributing writers. This community of “Women in the Word of God every day” represents a long list of cities and countries, a variety of backgrounds and traditions, and countless real-life stories. But there is a commonality that binds us: we believe God's Word is Truth. So we read. Every day we read a new passage together—working our way through books of the Bible, topics that matter, and seasons of the Church calendar. We engage with God's Word and with each other. And we keep coming back, on the hard days and the good days, because God and His Word never change, regardless of our circumstances.

I was expecting more from this devotional - going through more names of God like El Roi, Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Nissi, etc. Instead the book just covered names like Father, Jesus and Shepherd. Each name's sections starts with some background and meanings in different languages, which I appreciated, and then included several passages from the Bible with that name of God used in it, followed by one question - what does this name teach me about God? To further my study while going through this devotion, I then used extra space on the last page of each section to write out a prayer, addressing it to the name of God that I read about.

I always love the content and guided readings of She Reads Truth, I just wish that that there were more thought provoking and in depth questions like I’ve experienced in other studies. The She Reads Truth studies usually repeat the same questions over and over which can make me lose interested in my daily reading. Obviously all of the scripture and passages were great, but the study itself lacked.

Very different from other devotionals that they have done. I didn’t feel like it went very deep. I did like how they gave the Greek and Hebrew words for the different names of God.

This one was purely simple. But being sandwiched between two in-depth studies was refreshing. Jesus - name above all names, my Savior and Lord.
