This was kind of disappointing. The editing was disconcerting at times, lots of mistakes, confusion over who was speaking etc. However, honestly, that wasn't even my main objection. The story really fell flat for me. We've been building, badly, towards this EPIC, prophesied WAR, but it all falls flat. I don't know how else to explain it. She was supposed to be THE shifter queen. The QUEEN to all the shifters in the WORLD, but no one seems to care beyond some small town in america. I mean come on? They are supposed to be prepping for war, but hey let's still go to school and oh don't forget the days off, and oh yeah the dates. I know all the main characters are young but, ugh - Max is like a spaztaztic 4 year old with ADHD and Grayson, who I assume the author was going for sexy, brooding, bad boy etc, is more like a petulant 4 year old who throws a tantrum because he can't be "first". Reinforcing their immaturity, the author has them constantly checking with their parents, I mean it's good to seek advice from elders etc, but this is sort of like running to mommy and daddy. Then there's Kelsey -
Overall I think my main objection was how one scene was handled - I was seriously annoyed with Lucian, and the author for how she handled this - I forced myself to finish this, but in the end as Max himself states "Well damn, that's anti-climactic" - yeah, yeah it is.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
I just finished reading all three books. They were a fast read and I enjoyed them but they won't be going on my favorites list. They are a promising start for a new author though. These books almost seemed a cliffsnotes version of a larger story. Hopefully her future books will be a little more in depth but overall a cute trilogy.
I'm just about done, and i hate Callyn, she is more stupid in this one there the books. Getting kidnapped is her thing and next is stupidness. Her character to me really never grew up enough to me. She says that she was eighteen but to me she sounded like she was only sixteen/seventeen years old.
Then i have more problems with this story too. While the plot lines to it was good it was This book however was atrocious to read. There were so many issues that I kept asking myself if anyone actually beta read/edit/proofread the book. Missing words from sentences, wrong words used, misspellings and grammatical issues. And I'm bad at seeing mistakes but i could see them.
So this series was a good one as far as storyline goes. The first 2 books in the series had some minor grammatical errors and forgotten words. In the audio book some words were misplace to something new as well or skip over.
I also felt that you rushed through the important parts. You could have easily made this a four or six book series. You should have spent more time showing the characters on their dates, interactions with others. Even having Callie and her mates having a group sex scene.
Overall, I believe if S. Dalambakis were to take each books down and rework on it. It could be better and have more people loving it. For the ones that gave it five to three stars and even reviews, you have overlook the mistakes and everything that is wrong with it.
So this series was a good one as far as storyline goes. The first 2 books in the series had some minor grammatical errors and forgotten words. Not too bad overall though. This book however was atrocious to read. There were so many issues that I kept asking myself if anyone even proofread the thing. Missing words from sentences, wrong words used, misspellings and grammatical issues. I felt like I was reading a first draft. I'm not sure who edited this book but they did NOT do their job. It was so frustrating because I would be getting into the book and then a mistake of some sort would happen. Not grammar usually, but literally missing or wrong words used. I would have to stop and try to figure out what was supposed to be there when something was missing. I've learned to skip over most grammatical mistakes while reading. So the fact I had to stop to figure out what didnt make sense was a huge source of irritation. Had this not been the last book, I would have stopped reading it. It was very distracting. Had this been the first book, I would have missed out on a wonderful story because I would have stopped reading and returned the book. But, if that kind of thing doesnt bother you, then I am sure you will enjoy the book. Because the storyline is pretty awesome.
DNF at 60%. I tried. I really tried. It was a good idea plot wise but fell flat on the execution. I made it through the first two books but as soon as book 3 hit the god awful cheesy sex scenes (seriously, if you question your ability to write a good sex scene, you should just not write them at all. This was just bad) and I read the line, “you look so good riding on my dick, Angel.” I was done. I can stomach a lot of things but holy crap was that a painful scene. Just.... save your time and the facepalm moment of regret for ever having read this.... ugh....
Ok everyone....to all who impatiently awaited this final book of our exciting trilogy lemme just say this......SO FRIGGIN WORTH IT!! Tons of twists and turns along the way, including a couple of drop your jaws to the floor...totally did NOT see it coming shockers along the way. So proud of our author....I fell in love with this series in the first book even with all its typos and little errors....that NEVER happens to me. Plus I wasn't alone in the adoration....along the way the books have been even more action packed and filled of excitement, twists, turns and all out goodness. We get to see Callie TRULY become the Alpha Queen she was always intended....I honestly loved the entire journey, and am even more excited to see exactly what comes next from this beloved author. A great big, whopping, HUGE THANK YOU S. Dalambakis!!!! Oh...to give you an idea just how addicting this book was...I picked it up at 1am fully planning on reading a couple chapters before going to sleep. Three hours later and no breaks I reached the last page....I honestly couldn't put it down, and it was worth every second!!!!
I really enjoyed the first 2 books, I found the female lead character growing, slowly but surely she was growing into who she needed to be. I felt this book was pretty slow. Lots of talk, and getting to know each other on a one on one dates. They finally had a nookie moment 50% in the book. The 3rd book. I felt it was rushed, and didn’t grab me like others have. It was like a page and a half. I expected more, I expected more lead up, rather than just kissing and sorta dry humping. The rest of the book was so descriptive. We even got to re read some scenes once it switched point of views but from the other characters mind. I am So glad that rich mean girl Kelsey got her prophetess powers ripped from her and given to someone like Cat. I figured that would happen and I’m glad it did. I just wish Kelsey had a longer painful ending, after everything she did to Callyn, the guys and even to Cat and her mate. It wasn’t enough. I’m glad they got their happy ending, including finding out that she did have blood relatives. That was a happy moment. Overall, the story was good. I wish it had a bit more action. It didn’t grab me like the previous books did.
Well Alpha Queen is the conclusion to the Shifter Royalty Trilogy, this one switches to NA as our MCs are now 18. Which means Callie and her mates take their relationship to the next level. They’re in the middle preparing for war but they still find time to find the lighter side of life, take Callie on dates and get intimate. This is the last battle against a formidable foe but it was a little anticlimactic, I do like the fact that Callie didn’t pull any punches against Circe but really I would have liked to see more explosive action and villain dialogue. (Sucker for epic fight scenes) It took a bit of time to get into the book only because it was specifically focused on their relationship rather than the impending attack, and everything was conveniently tied in a nice little bow hence the rating. (All the baddies got their upcomings and all our heroes got their HEA). I enjoyed the trilogy as a whole and I’m glad I gained closure reading the last book.
And finally the trilogy comes to a close. This was a really quick read and even more so if you can listen via audio. The cheese levels are high and did come off rather cringey at times. As this is the last book the gang has to finally cement their mateship and of course this led to some awkward sexual encounters that felt overwhelming with one right after the other and felt rushed. I'm not even going to comment on the ridiculous nonsense regarding her not father, his death and then magical appearance of bio dad. (Like wtf??) Sadly for me there was an anticlimactic ending. Sure there's a war but it just came of lackluster and makes me question even more if this all takes place in around 6 months?? That's insane. Plus maybe it's just me but it's hella weird to accept these immature kids as rulers. OK trilogy
Ok. I wanted to like this series so much but it was just soooo erghh!!! Started out good. I was thinking, girl is being beaten by her father, but draws in 4 supposedly strong shifter teens who are her fated mates. They will help her find her inner strength and make her become a fierce warrior woman since she’s supposedly the Alpha Queen. WHAT A JOKE. This girl is such a freaking wimpy kid still!! Even at the end of the book she still is coming off childish. I mean damn, Alpha Queen, grow a pair! And I bet the word giggle was used over 100 times in the writing of these 3 books. It was ridiculous.

Alpha Queen, the third book in the Shifter Royalty trilogy, is a book I picked up through Kindle Unlimited. Plenty of twists and turns in this installment of the series--some was predictable, but that didn't take away from my enjoyment. I loved the author's imaginative plot, as well as the cast of characters. The Shifter Royalty series is marketed as a trilogy, but other, secondary characters, have potential to take center stage for more books; although, I'd love to see more of these characters as their relationship progresses and their powers grow.
This series had a huge build up and then finished very quickly
The ‘big battle’ at the end was a little lacklustre and happened in a very short space of time, I got to 80% and had to checks to make sure that this was definitely the last book. It’s a bit disappointing after everything that Callie’s been through and all of her training at the end she wins by tripping over. The grand reveal again was very rushed and (dare I say) fake, it didn’t have the emotional impact of previous books.
Geez I’m a glutton for punishment, I should of gave up after the first book but nope I kept hoping it would get better… spoiler warning it doesn’t.
So anticlimactic! Her blood relative who basically started everything 200 years ago (or his descendant) was killed off by the witch before we even met him. Then all it took was a necklace to be broken to kill the worlds most powerful witch? Seriously?
With witches & shifters this series could of been great but the entire series was so juvenile and boring!

This was a great finale to this YA trilogy. I loved the ending and as suspected, this book was not safe for the younger YA readers. The MC turns 18 near the beginning of the book and then later the steamy scenes get pretty steamy. This wasn't a normal RH novel in that aspect because the steamy stuff stayed as MF only, but it was a good solid read for me. Everything about this kept my interest throughout and I'd absolutely a recommend. From one book lover to another, happy reading.
I liked this series but it could have been better. The characters were great and the story line was very interesting. It was lacking detail in certain scenes. The grammar and spelling were major issues and the author repeated things a lot. Overall good series. Worth the read.
I really liked the characters. They definitely drove the story. Still not a fan of the "f" word and could have lived without the sex scenes but it was wqrned about in the description and i chose to read anyways so no stars off for them. I had to get the HEA. I just am not a fan of sex scenes. Overall though i liked the story and i loved the characters.
Heart stopping and exciting, I loved the ending to this series. The best part was that Cat finally found her happiness. The battle scene was a bit fast paced I thought it kinda lead you to believe it was going to be epic but wasn't as fulfilling as I would have liked. However it is an excellent read and I know I will read it again.
I liked the trilogy. Biggest complaint is the amount of grammar errors or ‘autocorrect’ for words that were wrong. Second complaint, all kisses were ‘licked seam of mouth and when she opened…’ Their were sex scenes in this one, so older teen. I was glad to have read the series though!
So for some this may be a cheesy series, but I took it as a simple easy read hea series. Things progress with Callie and her mates. Cat gets helpful visions and they work to make sure it doesn’t happen. A war does break out and there are casualties. Great ending.
Great ending to an amazing series. It's nice that Callie and her boys got their happily ever after with everyone still intact. Looking forward to the novellas and whatever comes after that.
Callie and her mates must defeat something evil. Will they succeed? This book tied up all loose ends and didn't leave you like can you please tell me what happens. I love how this book ended it was amazing.
So in this one they all finally cement the bond (wink wink) and there's fighting! Cat finds her mates, I really did enjoy the books and can't wait for the Novell's to come out, recommend to paranormal fans.
I give the Alpha Queen 5 stars. It can not be better. It is full of action, mystery, suspense, let’s not mention the very heated moments between Callie and her boys. I can’t wait to read more!! So sad to have read it all already!! Great job!!
It was an interesting storyline so I stuck with it but the spelling, grammar, punctuation, and overall continuity needed a lot of work. Only read because I could read for free on Kindle Unlimited.
I am an avid reader and have been my entire life. Welcome to you, and thank you for having the courage to share your writings with the world. I enjoyed this trilogy immensely. I am looking forward to reading more from you soon. Congratulations on a fantastic storyline.
So disappointing. The first book held such promise, the second book lost a lot of steam and this book is downright boring. The editing did not get any better and I had to quit when the author used the word except instead of expect. Just careless errors.
