I’m so glad our paths have crossed. I’ll give you a little background and then I’d love to hear from you.
I grew up in rural Montana with three brothers, a sister, mom, dad, and many visiting cousins. Favorite memories include building forts, helping dad in the pig barns, and mom painting our front door red — something I still do.
After discovering an interest in writing, I earned a BA in Journalism from the University of Wyoming. But God had more in mind than a degree. While a sports writer for the college paper, I interviewed the captain of the rugby team — my future husband, Matt.
After graduation we married and moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where we’ve built two homes, raised and home-schooled two sons, and grown to love a community of friends and neighbors. Common pastimes include hiking, hunting, floating the river, gardening, painting, reading, enjoying a cup of tea with friends, cooking, road-trips, and writing.
My all-time favorite thing to do: lean into God’s presence and hear His voice.
My second favorite: watch Him bring heaven to earth — around us, in us, and through us.
I believe every moment, every circumstance, is a platform to know God more intimately. His wisdom, His touch, His voice, His character, His power… Our Creator wants to be known. I am certain He is perfectly good and wise and powerful, far above and ahead of all evil and confusion, pouring out His love, mercy, and wisdom to any who will receive.
I have received much of His mercy, experienced much of His love, and love His voice more than all others.
By God’s grace I’ve traveled to teach and lead worship in churches, conference centers, recovery ranches, campgrounds, restaurants, homes, and barns across the western United States and in the Philippines and China. I’ve written several books and many songs along the way. My passion is to live in the fullness of Christ with all I am and help you do the same.

A noteworthy treasure that I intend to cherish for the rest of my life!
It is unlike any prayer book I have previously read; rising above conventional anthologies and serving as a means of spiritual enlightenment. I was genuinely unprepared for the life-altering power present in its pages!
From beginning to end, readers are invited to deepen their relationship with God, discovering not just the act of prayer but the essence of aligning one's desires with His. It is a gentle yet powerful reminder that prayer is not about asking for our needs but about embracing a life that seeks to please Him and fulfill His purpose on Earth.
The beauty of this book lies in its simplicity and accessibility. It encourages a form of prayer that is rich in praise, allowing us to express our gratitude and reverence for the Creator. Through daily prayers, Litzelman highlights the significance of acknowledging God's will in our lives, reassuring us that when we align with His intentions, His light and love will shine upon us. By reciting each prayer with intention and adoration this wonderful book invites us to cultivate a close relationship of affinity with Him, encouraging us to open our hearts and allow Him to lead us.
