Bewildered, Bewitched, and Betrayed. Hazel dreams of wedding Peter in a lovely ceremony witnessed by their friends. Unfortunately, she fears her nuptials will turn into a nightmare when her ex-boyfriend or a couple of surly coven members try to stop her marriage in the name of that darned prophecy. Not to mention, the very real possibility of her mother turning up is enough to steal her bliss.
If she didn’t have enough to worry about, she discovers another witch has been attacked, leaving the coven quaking in their pointy shoes. Then the supposed attacker ends up dead. Hazel races to help Peter solve the crimes, while Stonebridge teeters on the edge of an all-out war between the witches and witch-haters.

Hazel is trying to get ready for her wedding to Peter. But when Furna is attacked things change. John is found dead his wife and brother are acting strangely and her mom is in town with company.
With her plate full she has to help Peter solve this crime before their wedding day. Can see keep Victor away and make her mother behave so she can get married?
Love this series as the characters are wonderful to read about, you keep turning the pages to find out what happens.
The continuing adventures of Hazel, Peter and the town of Stonebridge. Hazel is picking up her wedding dress when she gets a mental contact from Fauna who is being beaten. With help from those images she and Cora find her just in time to save her. The coven suspects John Bartles and within the week he dies on that same spot of an apparent suicide. John had cheated on the wife and lost a big chunk of money. The brother-in-law was pointing out to his sister the positives of this tragedy.
While the preparations for the wedding continue Hazel is also trying to find clues to what happened while contending with the unwanted attention from Victor, the town's leading witch hater returns and her mother shows up. Plus she would love another look at Clarabelle's diary that is hidden away in the library.
Fun, quick read, I wouldn't suggest jumping in with this book, but if you've enjoyed the first seven books you'll enjoy this one, too. These cases are closer to Sons of Stonebridge vs. witches theme of the Teas and Temptations series. The pot is starting to boil! The case has a resolution, there is a conclusion, not a full blown cliff hanger.
Another great read - but now we have to wait and see what happens next. Hope it isn't going to be a long drawn out thing. Sometimes the ones that should be with you fight against you - betrayal can be a hard pill to swallow. Shame but this book left you hanging which I really hate, With her wedding coming quickly, she and Cory go to look at her wedding dress. Happy and content, until she gets a vision of an attack on one of the coven members. Racing over there they are just in time to save the young woman. However when she names her attacker, she has her doubts about it. Especially once he turns up dead in an apparent suicide. Was it? Victor too is plying on the pressure for her to wed him. Added to which Sam comes back into town bring a feeling of doom with him. Now her mother has arrived and she brings Victor and his mother to try to bring her to her senses. Will the wedding go off as planned? Or is there more surprises in store?
When Hazel’s coven sister Fauna is attacked, people suspect one of the witch haters. It’s no surprise then when he is discovered dead, but Hazel is not so certain he was the culprit. This book ramps up the action in Stonebridge, but since it’s such a quick read, I won’t spoil it for you. Suffice it to say, there are LOTS of questions posed, and not everything is answered BUT it’s definitely all set up for the following book! Book eight in the series is a breathtaking experience, where all sorts of secrets in Stonebridge emerge...
Elemental Eight (Teas and Temptations Book 8) by Cindy Stark. One of Peter’s policemen is found dead supposedly taking his life but Hazel has doubts. It’s Hazel and Peter’s wedding and everything goes well even though her mother had turned up to try and persuade her to marry Victor. As the reception gets going Hazel finds 2 of the coven are up to mischief and to stop it Hazel has to reveal that she is a witch. Peter rescues her and the 2 witches are arrested for the murder of the policeman.
I’m an avid reader and have read probably close to one hundred books were couples have gotten married. This one I read cover to cover in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down. It’s now 3:30 AM and I can’t go to bed. I’ve already downloaded book #9 - Nefarious Nine. I hope I can get some sleep before I have to start reading it.
I highly recommend this series - Teas and Temptations. So far it has kept my mind enthralled. Thank you Cindy Stark.
No words can describe what I’m feeling after finishing this book. The way people can turn on each other, even from within a group that is like minded, is just blowing my mind! I feel so invested in these characters. The hurt and fear that they go through feels like my own. This series is a must read.
At the start this seemed like it might become my favorite of the series, but by the end it was so rushed that I felt like the story just sort of fell apart. I think this is the end of the series for me, but I wish Hazel the best of luck in healing her town and getting Clarabelle some peace.
It's about time that it all came out in the open, but I still want to know more about the past. I wanna read about the original witches and the trials and tribulations they had to endure.
This series continues with book 8. Hazel is planning her wedding with Peter. Will certain people set out to destroy this wonderful day? Is someone going to end up murdered? What will happen next? Interesting characters and a fun read.
Wonderful story, strong well developed characters. Read with a hot mug of tea. I've enjoyed reading this series, fun and magical. The main character has a bad habit of sticking her nose into everyone's business even though her boyfriend is chief of police. It is making me tense.
With her wedding around the corner, Hazel is excited to become Mrs. Peter Parrish. And it seems everything is going according to plan. So far so good. Up until now they've dealt with murder and secrets. Hazel is ready to settle into married life, even if the bride happens to be a witch marrying the town's Chief of Police in a town that would never accept her if they knew her truth. Hazel is on high alert. She's worried her ex - Victor, the man her mother has chosen for her, or her mother may show up to ruin her happy day. But that all takes a back seat when, mysteriously, there's been another murder, and this one might implicate one of the coven and possibly expose them. AN AWESOME, QUICK READ THAT LEAVES YOU WANTING MORE ! AMAZING, LIKEABLE CHARACTERS THAT YOU COULD SEE YOURSELF BEING FRIENDS WITH ! LOTS OF TWISTS AND SURPRISES THAT WILL KEEP YOU TURNING THE PAGES ! IF CINDY KEEPS WRITING THEM, I WILL DEFINITELY KEEP READING THEM ! ! ! BRING ON BOOK 9, THE TEAS AND TEMPTATIONS SERIES IS A DEFINITE ONE-CLICK ! ! ! 💕
