Прекрасна книга! Синтезира всичко най-важно за един родител по много достъпен начин, с много практически примери за различни ситуации. Чела съм различни книги за родителството преди тази, след нея вече нямам нужда от други, вероятно ще бъде препрочитана. Чудесна опорна точка за хората, които искат да бъдат добри родители, но се колебаят как точно да го постигнат.

Like a lot of books about parenting this was a bit repetitive and quite obvious - but equally was completely right and a lot more nuanced than the title suggests. You should make conscious choices about how to raise your children! And you shouldn’t either live vicariously through them or let them do whatever they want! Obviously achieving that is hard, but this is a good book for taking you through some of the choices.

Great book with some really good insights and advice on how to be a better parent. I took away a lot.
However, I think that at the end of the day we are all human and our kids need to understand that we make mistakes and have emotions too. If they don't deal with criticism or any negative emotions how will they be able to deal with it in the outside world. If we are constantly perfect how will they understand that the world isn't?

A great read full of notes from writer’s therapy clients - adults and children; a good insight on how to raise children with love and set discipline at the same time. A helpful read for anyone thinking of forming a family, or working with children.

What a great informative book! it's a must read for all parents. It gives great insight for the parents fell of guilt that they are not doing enough, or who thinks over booking kids schedules will benefit them. I definitely going to read it again and again.

Only read a start for now. I'd give 3.5 if I could. Very easy to read. Send the message. Suitable for busy parents who don't have time to go into much theories.
