Trois: Episode 4

Rate this book
An MMF Romance.

Busted.

Things were already pretty complicated at the house with my best friend and the girl we sort of just…share. It wasn’t meant to last. To be real. I mean how can it be? There’s three of us.

But now that we’ve been caught by his family and everything is falling apart, I wonder if I have what it takes to put it back together. I’m not a relationship guy. I’m not someone who ever wanted to be with just one person for the rest of his life. And I’m still not.

I think I want to be with two people for the rest of my life.

I know I should be a better man and back off and let Penelope and Fletcher ride off into the sunset together. But that girl has carved out a special place inside the heart I didn’t think I had. And my best friend?

Let’s just say the friendly fire is getting friendlier.

Author confession: Well, the FYFF is strong in this one, my friends. (Urban dictionary is your friend and so is Auntie Brill.) You’re going to love this ending. The alphamallow quotient is high. The epilogue is so wrong it’s right. There’s just something about these three characters…

Brill Harper is a pseudonym. Like…a secret identity. By day she’s Clark Kent, writing romance books for young adults and grownups. By night, she’s Brill Harper writing unfailingly filthy, yet super sweet books, that would make her alter ego blush.

She especially likes to writes book about quirky, awkward heroines and alpha bad boys. Well, except that they are really alphamallows once they fall in love. Seriously--these heroes only have one weakness, and it's sticky, sweet love. They don't let anything stand in the way of taking what belongs to them. Ooey-gooey marshmallow hearts in big, burly dominating dudes. What's not to love about that?

Brill's books are filthy/sweet for when you're in the mood for something a little over the top. Okay, a lot over the top. Sorry, not sorry.

Brill Harper is represented by Deidre Knight of The Knight Agency.

😍

Awesome ending to an amazing series. I loved these books and watching these three grow. I am sad to see it done. I still want more. I want to see them as parents and so much more.

Wait, what? Where's all the meaningless sex?

I mean, isn't that what erotica is for? This reads more like a true romance, an epic love story filled with legendary emotions and real feelings! This is not the emotionally vacant sex-fueled romp that usually defines the erotica genre.

Hot sweaty sexy guys? OK, yeah, we have that. Two, actually.

Adorably sweet, sexually adventurous heroine? Yep - she's all that and more.

Practically non-stop nakedness and lots of fluid exchanges? Yeah. Plenty. Hoo boy. There's more than the usual here.

What makes this book hard to place in the erotica genre is the surprising depth of the characters, the emphasis on the emotional connection between all three, and the overall feeling that even without all the sex, we'd still have a solid love story and these folks would be just as much in love.

Very unusual for erotica. Sigh. But that's what we've come to expect from this author. I don't think she even knows *how* to write cardboard cut-out characters that only exist for the sex scenes.

Well, despite my preconceived notions I loved the heck out of this book, and not only will reread it in the future but have already read it (and the three previous episodes) several times over. And over again. And again. Until my batteries ran out. (My kindle battery. Honestly. Get your mind outta the gutter.)

If you don't mind a little authenticity with your erotica, one-click this book (and the whole set, if you haven't already done so). Just remember you're going to get a whole lot more than you bargained for. You've been warned. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

WARNING...you will need a fire hose or a tall glass with ice or snow to jump into near you while reading this book to cool off!!! The conclusion to Shane, Fletcher and Penelope’s triad has finally come and I am left speechless and hot as we get Shane’s POV, the one who doesn’t do love, the jokester, the one who cracks jokes for levity when a situation becomes serious and to also hide his real feelings.
I am not into M/M romances even when a F is in the mix, I like M/F/M but only if the F is the centre of attention but HOLY SMOKES I am speechless and amazed how this author has changed my mind on this fact and it’s all because of this author’s writing ability and the characters who have so much depth. The steamy scenes are not only steamy that I needed to douse myself with cold water to stop from heating up but sensual...yes sensual...so much so that most times I skip or fast forward the steamy parts in a book, read them so so so many times in all the books I have read over the years, but HOLY SMOKES I read every word, line, page of their sensual times. But it’s not all of steamy sensual scenes, there is humour and an amazing story of three people who find love, protect each other and stand by each other’s sides no matter what.
Once again this author has blown me away and developed characters and a story that will stay on my mind for a long time and for the first time a Triad, all 3 characters have made it into my top 10 of all reads and couples...10++++++ stars worthy !!

Shane’s POV and a brilliant, oh-so-satisfying ending

From Shane’s POV, we get a deliciously sexy male take on the relationship between the lovers. Penelope and Fletcher and Shane are busted from Thanksgiving weekend at Fletcher’s home, as she was invited on a sleepover with Jenna, BFF and sister to Fletcher.

Now back home, the three realize coming out about their true feelings for one another to friends and family is the best salve to the soul of this polyamorous triad. Shane and Fletch decide to push the envelope on the sexual closeness between them. It’s a beautiful discovery, and Penny is all on board. In fact, she thinks its the hottest thing.

Brill Harper invites us to peek into the future for these three, and how they make it work. Don’t miss this last great conclusion. Guaranteed to be all swoony and so satisfying. Just make sure you have something cold to drink while reading it. You know...to put the fire out when you combust. *g* I received and voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

“Hey, Penelope will you teach me how to deepthroat a cock?"
Shane's humor and wit and his pain was bared in his POV in episode 4.
Once again, I laughed out loud and found the heat level off the charts. Our Alphamallows are romantic, hot and get to explore their physical attraction and love for each other as well as our nerdy girl! They find love and it's a beautiful, complete with FYFF!

I know this is book 4 of 4 but I feel like I've bonded with them and I still want more! I do love this Authors writing style and her creative imagination! I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!
