“Even if you did, Parker, there’s nothing wrong with it or you. Those incidences may have been ones you’ve never experienced before in your life so you’re not to know if you would like them until they happened. Now they have and, if you did like them, it’s opening your eyes. And for some people it’s scary. Take time, work things out, or leave it, if that’s what you think you’d prefer. Just don’t beat yourself up over it.”
He was a frustrating little dick. I growled under my breath. “So he’s not gay, but you two had a thing?”
His gaze narrowed even more. “Yes. Ten years ago.”
I jerked my head back in shock. “What, were you fifteen or something? You look like you’re twenty now.”
“No,” he bit out. “I was nineteen. Not that it’s any of your business. In fact, you need to get back in that room while I do this. Then when he’s more with it, we’ll get him clean and back to resting.” He turned his back on me, and I knew I wasn’t going to get any more out of him.
I supposed I’d got enough anyway.
Lan wasn’t gay, but apparently, he was for Easton. And that was ten years ago. Lan would have been thirty at the time, and Easton said he was nineteen. Who seduced who?
My steps faltered. I didn’t give a flying fuck who seduced who.
Jesus. Where had that thought come from?
“Marvel or DC?” I asked, walking out of the theatre. We decided to have a quick something to eat at the house since the movie we’d agreed on started shortly. We’d luckily just made it on time.
“Either,” Lan said.
Parker shrugged. “Doesn’t bother me.”
I stopped and stared at them both. I unclenched my jaw, and stated, “We’re Marvel people. Remember it and there won’t be a problem.”
Parker snorted. “Got it,” he said with a salute.
“Sure thing, babe.”
