Built Fur Love #2

Mine Furever

Rate this book
Grayson Carver is in a tight spot. On one hand, he's doing his best to help the local wolf shifter pack and keep a promise. On the other, the wolves only see him as a rogue and an outcast, a troublemaker. But trouble is only the tip of the iceberg when a human woman wanders into their settlement, leaving Grayson to deal with her. Now the battle-hardened wolf may have just found his mate.

April Nielson has made it her life's work to research and aid in the preservation of wolf packs nationwide. So when reports of wolf sightings in the sleepy town of Silver Lake drift in, she's immediately on the scene to do her job. But instead she comes across the most stubborn, tough-looking, and sexy man she's ever laid eyes on. One with piercing gray eyes and a body that is beyond even her wildest fantasies.

Though Grayson knows he's supposed to send the little woman packing before she can uncover the secret of the pack's identity, Grayson's wolf has other plans. Like mating the wolf-obsessed researcher as soon as possible. But even as hot attraction explodes into earth-shattering romance, April knows there's something that Grayson's not telling her. Something that may just come back to bite them both.

Mine Furever is the second book in my Built Fur Love series! The first is here:

Sexual encounters inside.
Grayson is a grumpy wolf shifter with baggage from his past pack.
April is sent by the government to investigate grey wolf sightings. These two were made for each other, the grumpy wolf just had to realize it.
This is an easy read because the story flows. I like the wolf problems, with having the Tribunal as some sort of law.
A good story with hunky men, great characters, steamy scenes, and a HEA.

Pretty Good

I liked this book, and it has an interesting and unique storyline to it. I like that it's different. The whole weird pack on Dawn's land, or near it, and the main guys trying to help them - there's just something about it I like. I did not like all the uses of "exclaimed" It was overused and often misused. I kept imagining everyone yelling these things at each other. It was weird. I do recommend it if you like sorta short, pretty sweet, and kinda weird shifter love stories.

This is a good addition to the Built Fur Love shifter series, but I'm still surprised that these shifters don't seem to have any connection to the shifters in Terry's other series.

This is a good romance, but Grayson was kind of hard to like at times. He was just so grumpy and moody, and rarely smiled. I get that April thought he was handsome, but I don't see how she would have fallen for someone who was so grumpy. I also thought that Grayson and April were more in lust than in love -- especially April, since she wasn't a shifter, and wouldn't have felt the mate bond.

I did think that the problem with the wolf pack was a little too easily resolved, but I suspect that was necessary to keep the book fairly short.

My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

Grayson volunteered to help the bedraggled pack improve their condition and help them assimilate with humans. The alternative was unthinkable. He was doing his job helping them with their shambles of dwellings. A construction man himself it was a good place to start. That is until a little human female showed up hoping to find a wolf pack in the area and research them. She wanted to make sure they were protected and bounties were not put on them.

As much as he wanted to send her on her way as he'd been instructed, he realized he'd have to be careful. That and she called to his wolf. Grayson didn't want to believe he'd found his mate and last she was a human. His grouchy demeanor didn't work to keep April away. Did she feel the pull as well?

As they grew to know each and get closer the chemistry only got stronger until... Yet, the pack expected him to chase her away. His wolf wouldn't let and now his human side couldn't do it either. What would that mean for them? Human's weren't supposed to know about shifters. Her staying could be dangerous for the pack. How far would they go to prevent discovery?

Another good shifter read by the author. We get to visit with some other characters in the series even though this story stands on its own. Enjoy this second offering and go back for the first you'll like it too. The author keeps her stories interesting with plenty of steam and the price a real bargain.
I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.

This is the second book in the Built Fur Love series and it was just as good as the first one. Grayson, is one big grumpy wolf shifter, just trying to help a wolf pack out that really needs to change in order to fit in with the human population. He offered his help, but being around a pack, and not being part of the pack has been difficult and nerve wracking. Very few of the shifters he’s trying to help trust outsiders and try to get Grayson to help get rid of April, the human researcher. April researches wolves for the government and has made a point of trying to get people to protect wolves and not hunt them. She comes to Silver Lake to check out reported sightings of wolves and hopes to keep hunters away from any wolves that she finds. She’s looking for wild wolves and boy she finds a lot more than she was bargaining for. I love the Chemistry between Greyson and April as well as the friendship between Grayson and Hunter. The story is well written and the characters are just great! Just like any of Terry Bolryder’s other books; I would highly recommend them for anyone who enjoys a good paranormal romance, it’s worth the read!

I liked this second book in the Built Fur Love series. Grayson is a wolf shifter who is trying to help out a pack that isn't his in order to atone for what he feels is his failure to save his own pack years ago. When a human female comes around asking about wolf sightings, he knows he will have to protect her from the other wolf shifters who are not so good with any humans, especially not ones looking for wolves. When he realizes this feisty woman is his mate all bets are off if anyone hurts her, but how is he ever going to reveal what he is to someone who doesn't even know his kind exist?

April is in the area to look for a wolf pack that may or may not even exist. She would love the chance to find, study, and protect her very own pack. She is worried that if she can't do her job right the government will send men with guns to look next. She has no idea what she is getting in for with the good-looking, ex-military type that seems to have attached himself to her, but he is helpful and good company.

I will not ruin the story for you. Enjoy.

More, please!
Grayson, of BWC Builders, is helping a wolf pack become better adjusted to their human side so they can blend in and work with local humans. Fixing up their dilapidated trailers is part of the job. Trouble arises when April (gasp - a human!) comes around to look for wolves.
I must say, this is one of the most unappreciative groups I’ve ever seen. They’re untrusting of any outsiders; even another wolf!
Alice has such a good heart! All she wants it to make sure any wolves are treated well. I don’t think she’s got a mean bone in her body. She and Grayson are an excellent match! Grayson is not one to waste words. He just notices what needs doing and handles it. When trouble comes their way, he reaches for his inner strength and taps into power he’s never used before. A great story, some seriously sexy lovers, and some mysteries revealed! Well done

Sexy wolf romance! Hot and steamy!

I was waiting patiently for Grayson! Wolfs shifters are my favorite and this one didn’t disappoint! We have grumpy sexy wolf shifter Grayson who is trying to teach and help a new wolf clan pack adapt to their new home. They are not the nicest wolf pack but neither is Grayson if you mess with him. Then here comes April, a human out of nowhere trying to find wolfs because she’s fascinated with wolfs. Except she doesn’t know anything about shifters. She only thinks she’s researching normal wolfs. Is up to Grayson to keep and eye on her but the more time they spend together the more he likes her. Things-get complicated because technically humans are not supposed to know about shifters but Grayson knows shes his mate and will so anything to protect her. Hot romance, sexy time And Action pack with enough humor to keep you entertained!

Great book 2 for an unconventional pack!

Grayson is a wolf, but his packmates are a bear and a cougar. His mate Alice is a wolf researcher who has heard of wolves in this area. You really should read book 1 to get the full effect of this story, as it happens right before this one and is connected. This wolf pack is a little different!

This story moved at a fast pace with a more tense tone than book 1, a character oriented storyline with some action and steamy scenes and vivid characters. If you like this in your shifter romances, then you will love this. Just remember to read book 1 Love at Furst Sight before you read this one. Then, like me, you will have to wait for book 3, Hunter's story! Enjoy!

After watching Garrett settle with his mate, Grayson decides to help the wolf pack fix their beaten down homes and help them become more human. Everything is going as planned until April shows up asking about grey wolves in the town. Grayson is told by the sick alpha to make sure April stays away from them and keep them hidden from humans. Only problem is April has documentation that can keep her here. She's a representative to keep wolves from being hunted. When Grayson first meets April he is out off by her. His wolf is screaming Mate, but his human side always thought his mate was a wolf not a human. Can he keep the clan safe and hidden? Or does April need protection from the clan? Great read. On to book three.

Good second book

This was a bit more interesting than the first in the series, Grayson a wolf shifter who has some issues regarding the disappearance of his pack whilst he was in the human military is trying to assist a shifter pack who are struggling to survive April a research scientist arrives to try to access if a wolf population exists in this area and to try and protect them from hunters. She knows nothing about shifters Grayson is elected to try to get her away from the territory but he realised she is his mate and her attraction to him is immediate. They go through some difficulties with the pack and she discovers they are shifters but love conquers all. It's a good read if lacking in a lot of action

Grayson is determined to help other shifters who need it, regardless of their opinions of him. April has always been fascinated by wolves and is determined to do what she can to help protect them. Neither expected to find the other. Will April accept both sides of Grayson? Will Grayson be able to find a way to protect her before it is to late?

I honestly loved these two! I loved how April already had an affinity for wolves and how she was determined to protect the species! I loved how Grayson was this tough wolf, but he was gentle around April and the children. Great read and cannot wait for more!

Loved It

I read and reviewed the first book in this new series as a 4* as for me it wasn't as exciting as the rest of Terrys books have been. However this one more than makes up for it.

Grayson has been living close to the wolf pack he and his construction crew are helping out however April turns up from the government to research the local wolf pack after hearing reports about attacks happening. April knows nothing about shifters and is determined to help what she thinks is a wild wolf pack but is in fact shifters. Can Grayson keep her from harm? Is she his mate? Find out in this book it's full of romance and action

Protected love

Grayson finds himself in the middle of total chaos. He is a rogue wolf trying to acclaimate a pack of wolves who don't trust him or want his help because he is a rogue. April is sent by the government to track and report on wolves saving them from hunters. The pack wants her out of their territory and for Grayson to get rid of her. He discovers that she is his true mate. Terry Bolryder tells a great story on how these two become one. This second book of Built Fur Love is very well written and keeps you wanting more. Looking forward to reading more of this series. ⚘⚘⚘

A Hard Kept Secret

This is book 2 in the series, but can be read as a stand-alone. I recommend you start with book 1. Some of the references will make more sense.
Grayson is a wolf shifter trying to help a pack become more human. When a human enters the packs territory it falls on Grayson to get rid of her.
April is there to observe the reported wolf pack in the area. She really wants to find a new unknown pack to follow and protect from hunters. Little does she know what is in store for her.
Will she find more than she was looking for? Will Grayson be able to protect her from the pack? Come read this wonderful story and find out.

Ms Bolryder has added another great book to her collection. Now to the last one of this series. I absolutely love reading this author's books, I don't care if it's dragons, wolves, tigers or bears each is a delight to read. I definitely keep all her books in my library to re-read again and again. You'll want to do the same when you enjoy this author. No two books are alike but melds with others in the series to make the stories cohesive. Each comes with its own scenario and interest. Make this author a must read in your collection.

Grayson and April

I really enjoyed this second book of the Built Fur Love series. April is a human wolf researcher and supporter. She was send by the government after wolves sightings. Grayson is a wolf shifter in a difficult position. He wants to help the local feral wolf pack to fit in the human world when April arrives. And the last thing this grumpy wolf expects is to find his fated mate and for her to be human. Great read, packed with action and romance. Highly recommended.
Ps: can't wait to start reading Hunter's story!

Quick and Easy

This was a quick and easy read of the 2nd book in the series. Wolf Shifter Grayson meets his mate April who just happens to be on a mission that could endanger them all. A nice story with characters from the first book popping in and out. There is action and lots of loving going on in the forest! I look forward to seeing how the last shifter in the construction crew meets his mate.

Tried to like it but...

Tried to like it but just couldn't. I really enjoyed book #1, and was looking forward to this one. This one tries to answer why he feels so guilty about his family pack but it doesn't seem logical to me. This book turns Hunter from an annoying friend to a lazy ass. I have no urge to read his book at all. Hopefully others will enjoy this one, it's just not for me. 🐺

Wildlife Researcher April is Searching...

For gray wolves. Grayson may not be gray, but he is a wolf. Well, sometimes. Grayson is a shifter and April is a human, so how can she be his mate? When they are threatened by a power hungry shifter and his lackeys, Grayson and April will have to fight to survive. This is an intense, action filled, love story which is bound to keep a reader turning page after page until the HEA. Loved it!

I loved book two. I love this series. Grayson is a stoic wolf shifter haunted by his history with his former pack and trying to help a close to feral pack be more human. April is a sweet, curvy human female sent to research reports of wolves. Together they fall in love and face adventure and adversity.

Grumpy Wolf built for love after all

Grayson the grumpy wolf of this series finds himself in a mess when he happens to discover that fate has given him a mate. What I found drawn to in this book were all the cool laws and rules of being a wolf. I also enjoyed how human the shifters are. Just read it! It was funny and I love funny!

Definitely better than book 1

Definitely better than book 1 of this series but still a bit tame for me. Plods along, a few unnecessary typos etc. Not terrible, but nowhere near the level of the Anastasia Wilde shifter series I've read.

I read this book as part of my Kindle Unlimited subscription (free book but I have to pay £7.99 a month for the subscription)

Better

April and Grayson's story kept my interest. This is the second book in the Built Fur Love series. I did miss Garrett's mate in this. I thought she would have been in out at some point. We get to learn more about Grayson's past. I hope in the next story the mates are included. Grayson was definitely alpha material.

Oh, You Wolf

Grayson and April's story in this series was wonderfully written. I loved the characters of Grayson being the wolf shifter and April as a researcher trying to protect the wolves. She doesn't know about shifters and he doesn't know how to get rid of her for her own protection, then he discovers he doesn't want to get rid of her. Plenty of action here.

Awesome read, and Grayson found his mate in a wolf researcher no doubt. Alice sure was in for a surprise when she found out about shifters, she was going out of her mind..but as usual things worked out and Grayson is indeed an Alpha, cool Alpha power a shield..Loved it good read as always Terry and moving on to Hunters story..big fan Winzie19💞☺.

I liked the story, I’m just tired of all the female love interest getting angry at first because they weren’t told that the guys are shifters and crying they’ve been lied to. I mean get over yourself it’s for your safety and his. I just want one story where she accepts him right away because she knows he is the one for her.
