This is the second book in this paranormal series about Enforcer warriors that come into the human world to rescue anyone from the clutches of humans. They normally have been captured to be experimented on as a way to find out what powers they have and who they are. This story started out so much different to the first book and I found that I couldn't put it down once I started reading it.
I totally fell in love with Dominic as soon as we were introduced to his character, he is a half breed warrior that only knows what his mother's side is, which makes him feel like he is a lesser man in some way and thinks that he will never be mated because of it. Constance lives in the human world never knowing who or what she is until she gets kidnapped and Dom comes to her rescue. She has lived with a need and a craving that can never be satisfied but that is until she meets Dom and all is revealed.
This was a really interesting story with lots of action and drama that had me flipping the pages to see what would happen next. I really liked both Constance and Dom and felt that they really connected with each other. I loved how the writing really flowed and made this an easy and enjoyable read. A different take on the world of Paranormal romance.

To say this is a good book is an U N D E R S T A T E M E N T! It is BETTER than good it is PHENOMENAL! Brilliantly written and the characters will strike you before you know what hit you! I fell in love with this author and this world in Book 1, but nothing compares to book 2! It is remarkably delivered and I can not recommend this author ENOUGH! This book has the ability to grasp your heart and it WILL NOT LET GO! This is a new author for me and I am so glad that I took a chance with her! She has given us a gift and a world that I did not want to relinquish. You can tell this author feels everything her characters have to go through and she gives us a absolute with her characters! I so totally love this universe and the fact that it is a paranormal is the icing on the cake for me! Constance and Dominic are what I would consider as soul mates! Not only is Constance smart, witty, and bad to the bone; she gives Dominic a run for his money and his heart! Bloody Brilliant! I will recommend this series to all my friends and will be on the lookie for more from this author! ABNSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! I hope more is to come because I have fallen hard for this series!

Dark Need is book two in the Dark Desire series and MY ALL TIME FAVORITE BOOK by J Thompson.
I have read every. Single. Book. By her and loved each of them but, this one is just aaaahhhhh! From start to finish I was captivated, from the action, the drama, the romance and, of course, the steaminess.
I have been d y i n g for this story since reading Dark Confusion (book one), Dom's character called to me (#Dombelongstome). Getting to know Constance within this story was extremely fascinating, she was funny, naive, sweet, a spitfire, cute, sexy and so much more. Thompson wrote one helluva heroine.
This one was a true page turner, I devoured this word for word, cover to freaking cover. I can't wait to see more of the enforcers.

Dark Need is the second book in the Dark Desires series, and it is Constance and Dominic's story.
Gah! I just love the characters in this book. Dom is the strong and silent type, and Constance? Well, she is a hot mess. She is far from perfect, but that is one of the many things that draw you to her character. This couple also share a chemistry that is off the charts, and that's never a bad thing.
While I am usually not a big paranormal fan, this book/series pulled me in from the very beginning. In fact, I enjoyed both books in this series so much, I am making it my new goal to read every book written by this brilliant author, and you should too!

I LOVE THE ALPHA TEAM SOOOO MUCH!
This book was amazing! I love Connie and Dom, these two are just perfect for each other! Their chemistry is off the chains even before they officially meet but when they do meet it just combusts off the pages.
Connie bless her doesn't quite understand what is going on with her and Dom has his own inner demons to battle but like any set of good mates they compliment each other and help each other discover the right paths... Well not without a good old fashioned fight. Nothing worth having comes easy or without it's obstacles.
This book is the second in the series and literally enthrals you from the very first page. I cannot wait to see where this story leads.

This is the second book in this series and it didnt disappoint and its packed full of action, romance and suspense. We get to see Dom and his enforcers again and we find out more about Dom and what makes him tick. I loved Dom and Connie they are perfect for each other and that chemistry they have it gave me goosebumps. She is white to his black. There is a lot going on in this book and there are a few surprises in it also and we find out answers to the questions we had in the first book. It had me hooked from the beginning and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough, I devoured it in one sitting. I’m looking forward to the next one. `

Domenic is trying to find the facilities and close them. Domenic is having hard time getting information, he can't get his mind of a woman he saw. Dom can't help the pull to the mystery woman. When her life is in danger, he will do whatever to protect her. Domenic finds out just who this woman is, this will change everything

I got to read this as an ARC for an honest review. So where we go.
I LOVED IT.
I jut fell for the world Biden away from us, a world with problems. A world with lives I need to know more about. And then we have the Connie and Dom! The tension between them is just HOT! And guess what people Connie isn’t perfect! She is a mess just like real women, but lord she gets her dreams. Maybe not the easy way but if it’s not worth fighting for it isn’t right for you!?!

I can’t even... I wish there was more than 5 stars. There was no predicting the outcome of this book and I have to say that is what makes an amazing read. You fall hard for the characters but the twists and turns leave you gasping for breath waiting for the next event. I won’t go into more because I am not able to not spoil the big surprise.

Dark Need was a good story, the book was written well, it was filled with many emotions. Constance and Dominic's journey had it's ups and downs but they were strong. The connection and chemistry they had was strong as well, they were good together. I enjoyed their journey, they were made for each other.

This story was amazing!!!! J Thompson was a new author to me but I fell in love with this series!!! Its been added to my 5star list for sure. The story just fell in place perfectly. Over all its a great novel!!!

ANOTHER FANTASTIC READ FROM JENN. DARK NEED IS A GREAT ADDITION TO THE SERIES. LOTS OF ACTION AND DRAMA THROUGHOUT. IT WAS GREAT TO SEE CONSTANCE COME INTO HER POWERS AND FIND HER MATE IN DOMINIC.

Thank you to the author for the ebook. I enjoyed this one more than the book 1. It’s a 4.5⭐️ for me. I loved how Dom is so dedicated for his work and role as an enforcer. Story is a perfect read with hell lots of twists.
