Minor Correction - Eternal Ganges is the publisher, and the author is Dr. Daisaku Ikeda.
The title itself is a one line summary of the essence of this book. Written in Dr. Ikeda's usual heartwarming style, this book is a collection of his essays spanning various topics - life & death, finding inspiration in books, dialogue, embracing struggle, finding meaning.
The best part is that every essay in itself is a tiny piece of hope. I found myself teary eyed at some points, and this book worthy of rereading. Hope you read it too!
"Hope that has not been tested is not more than a fragile dream. Hope begins from this challenge, this efforts to strive towards an ideal, however distant it may seem." --Daisaku Ikeda
"Hope is a decision" by Daisaku Ikeda is a collection of essays, writen under different circumstances and different times, spanning across 1966 to 2007.
A truly beautiful book, that can inspire anyone even during the darkest of time. The effect of reading cannot be described in simple words unless someone actually reads it. Every essay is beautiful in it's truest sense.
I guess, I will come back to this book again and again.
