The Infinite Tree is a collection of new poetry that is organized into four chapters: Short Poems & Haiku, Seasons & The Passage of Time, Death Tributes & Rememberances, and Philosophy & Existence. The central theme here is mortality, and the author masterfully wordsmiths vivid articulations of emotion and experience that lay bare life's cyclical, often paradoxical nature. At the end of each chapter is a passage that details his inner thoughts, followed by a selection of meditative questions that welcomes the reader to further explore what it means to be alive.
"For all those, like me, who are just a flowering branch on an infinite tree"
This book is an improvement from the author's previous book of poetry. This book has more poetry and more insightful explanations. My favorite poem is "Zen and the Art of Not Practicing It."
