The lush, fully-painted miniseries concludes! Takashi and Lyle Crawford make their next move while Elektra lies in wait. Ghosts of dead Hand ninjas are summoned forth to take down Marvel’s mightiest assassin! And when the dust settles…the Beast awakes.
Scott Morse (sometimes known as C. Scott Morse or C. S. Morse) is an American animator, filmmaker, and comic book artist/writer.
Much of Morse's published work consists of stand-alone graphic novels, although he is perhaps best known for his epic series Soulwind, a story serialised in a sequence of graphic novels, which was nominated for both the Eisner and Ignatz awards.
8/10 Behind a hotel, the black cat passes the silhouette of a man and goes into an alley. Meanwhile, a sick Lyle calls out for Takashi while holding a sword. He said he’s ready for his ninjas. Takashi tells him he’s finally at the end of his training after all these years. Lyle says his trainings been done and asks for all the ninjas once again. An army of white cats appears. Elektra and the black cat watch from a distance. Takashi tells Lyle to look alive. The black cat swarms and Elektra attacks Lyle. They battle intensely. Elektra knocks him to the ground. Lyle says that Takashi said he’d lead them. Takashi watches as Lyle transforms into a monster. Collecting souls of all the dead members of the hand, so many warriors. They are becoming one. However, the body can’t handle all of them. He is becoming the beast. The plan has backfired. Black Cat Crawford appears and tells Elektra to kill his son. She attacks the monster and cuts the head off. He fades away. The black cat disappears. Crawford tells Elektra to hold her head high. She watches from a roof top into the distance. Very fun run, the art is some of my favorite ever.
