A very wixen take on Sentinel lore (with one of their spirit animals wrong in the artwork, btw – did the author change Hermione's spirit big cat (jaguar, IIRC) to a white one AFTER the first posting?).
The sex magic content isn't my thing, but whatever: there are other intriguing and/or appealing elements, such as Godric Gryffindor's portrait, and the surprisingly ~familiar~ familiar who shows up in an original (or at least unique in the Potterverse?) creature form.
Very anti- worthless Ron, whom they avoid, and also bashes Dumbledore (late and unlamented), irredeemably tainted Ginny (in absentia), plus Molly (only heard over a mirror call) AND Arthur (also discussed in absentia), with an inspired and dark original bit of magical Weasley backstory.
The active characters are mainly just Harry and Hermione, with some assistance from Godric, Zirnitra (God of Sorcery), Dobby, and a few professors.
The immediate arc of this story does have a resolution, with Sentinel gifts bestowed and trained, title claimed, priorities reassessed, two minion-level foes defeated (no spoilers as to who, though it's mainly set in Godric's Hollow, so, you know...), and the Death Eater control of Hogwarts foiled, but then it ends, with little denouement — only a beginning, and several years have passed since Ms. Marcos wrote, "Yes, of course there will be a sequel. Don't nag." 😕 Given that lack of full satisfaction, I'd call this right about a flat 3★.
