Lake The plan had always been finish college, move back to Colorado, and run Naked Brews with her dad. That plan fell apart when Lake's dad died and his ex-wife, AKA the absent maternal figure, inherited the brewery. Now Lake will have to convince her perfectionist mom not to sell the place, sweet talk the bank into a loan she has no credit for, and figure out how to turn the failing brewery into a success. No problem.
Walsh The job should be simple. Pretend to be his millionaire best friend, buy a failing brewery, and honor their fallen brother-in-arms. But simple went down the drain the minute he met the sassy new brewery manager. Now he's stuck between a loud-mouth sarcasm factory and her mom. He'd prefer to be trapped between Lake and a soft bed, but he swore he wouldn't sleep with the brewery owner. Though technically she doesn't own the brewery...
Naked Brews They both want to buy the same brewery and ignore the chemistry brewing between them. What could possibly go wrong?
This book was previously published as Deliciously Smooth by KB Jacobs (a pseudonym used by Sarah Nego and Christi Snow).
As an avid reader her entire life, Christi Snow always dreamed of writing books that brought to others the kind of joy she felt when she read. But...she never did anything about it besides jot down a few ideas and sparse scenes.
When her husband retired from the Air Force, Christi decided it was time to chase her dream and she started writing. She hasn’t stopped since. With twenty-two published books in various romance genres, she’s found her passion. Now she spends her days with her laptop writing about sexy, alpha heroes and the loves of their lives.
Writing, Christi has fulfilled her dream... filling the world with more romance and suspense.
Her tagline is... Passion and adventure on the road to Happily Ever After. She loves this adventure and has truly found her tribe!

*Clarification* I read and first reviewed this when it was called Deliciously Smooth, under the pen name K.B. Jacobs.
It's deliciously sexy, sweet and a tad emotional. Lake has taken over her late father's brewery, the brewery that is her passion. But, it needs serious help, financially, if it's to make it, as her father's managerial style had been rather lackadaisical. In swoops Walsh with an offer to buy Naked Brews. Their very first meeting has the sparks flying, not the least because they have a serious attraction to each other. Walsh has a big secret, though, and when Lake finds out what that secret is...oh damn, I just knew the shit was going to hit the fan and it did!
I love Lake and Walsh. Their chemistry is sizzling and each has emotional issues that make for an interesting combination. Walsh had a horrible childhood and Lake's wasn't a cakewalk either. Their pasts have certainly informed their present and each is working with inner demons, especially Walsh. Walsh is so sexy, and a little damaged so that I just wanted to give him a big hug! Lake is feisty and independent, almost abrasive at times. She certainly was abrasive during their first meeting. But, in her defense, Walsh blindsided her with his "offer" and she had just found out that she wasn't the true owner of her brewery. Yikes!
I would have given Smooth 5 stars if the epilogue hadn't about killed me. Seriously, what was the author thinking?!? Talk about gutting me. Epilogues are supposed to give us a hopeful look into the couple's future, so we can see how well they're doing. They are NOT supposed to make us cry or worry!!!!
