In every angel a demon hides, And in every demon, an angel strides. Neel is a self-proclaimed demon, a slave to his desires, putting at stake even the purest of relationships for it. He has a plan to get rich and is working hard to achieve it, until he bumps into Pihu. She is an immature teenager who likes Neel for no apparent reason, and blindly believes that he is the angel who will take away all her life's troubles. Neel hates Pihu for her unexplained obsession, and her being a hindrance in his plan, but her firm resolve to see a good person in him shakes Neel to the core. Will Pihu make a difference? Does inner transformation come to a man who has gone to a point of no return? A Girl to Remember is an emotional roller coaster which will make you believe that confession is the best punishment.

A wonderful cover & best selling author, one doesn't need a better reason to go for "A Girl to Remember". We got this book as a surprise Diwali gift (as an honest review copy). A bookworm like me could not get a better gift than this.
"A Girl to Remember" is the story of Pihu, Neel, and Annu. I think blurb and many reviewers have covered story so I am giving a brief. Neel was a devil person. For his, emotion and relationship come after his greed for money and lust. Annu was a widow who had rented her flat to Neel. Pihu was the daughter of Annu. And then comes a love triangle between these three, though not same as normal Bollywood movie.
Coming to book, I liked the following things 1) Simple language usage & straight narration style 2) The uniqueness of the plot 3) Characterization of Neel & Pihu 4) The short & apt story for traveling
This was my first book by Ajay Pandey and I am really impressed. We are really gladful and would like to thank Srishti Publisher for giving us chance to review this book.
I not only hate this one. But I want to burn this book. I understand that feeling now. The urge to burn a book! Making a girl die at the end (like his only formula to make his books work really doesn't work in this one). It is one of the worst, most perverted , sexist books ever written meant to be read by young readers?! Why wasn't this book marked as a failed erotica fiction? Really?! A teacher seeing all his 17 year old students as possible flesh to devour? What the hell is wrong with the writing?! There is no character development. And the so called chemistry relies on the sexual tension between the guy and every damn woman he meets! He didn't even spare hos sister-in-law, his two students in the name of teaching in his room inspite of clear rules that he cannot give tuitions to any of the students! Inspite of getting complaints and getting a resignation letter, he still continued on with his same sick ways and yes, in all this endeavour expects the readers to feel for the character! And what kind of pervert is his colleague who is supposedly his best friend who inspite of knowing everything encourages him to carry on with his tactics congratulating him in getting a low rent place at the house of two single women : mother and daughter, who by the way is his student?!
And what kind of parents and family just stand there and watch quietly even knowing that fact that this character has crossed his limits and as is described in the book itself that he sees all kinds of women and girls as only naked, breasts, nipples and all? I mean what was the purpose of this book? To tell the youngsters that it is ok to be a pervert and see woman and girls like that? And making the girl die in the end calling her as his daughter after imagining all kinds of weird things about her and her mother, just because he looks like her dead father even made the book worst! Seriously, what!

A Girl To Remember by Ajay K Pander is based on a true story of one of his friends.. Yes. That's the first thing that picked my interest to read the book. But let me make a true confession, I hated this book while I was half way through it.. I hated it with all my heart and literally hated myself too for picking that up. I didn't understand what I was trying to read.. But one should never fall into quick conclusion. The last few chapters of the book are it's soul.. I genuinely felt proud of myself for deciding to continue to read the book and happy that I didn't miss out on this one! I don't say it's kind of must read book and specially it's a straight NO if you are not a fan of sad endings (Well, this works as a spoiler now) I don't want to really give any synopsis of the plot as the book itself makes you feel you are revisiting something you already know .If you are really an experienced reader then it's the most predictable story you will read. This story is all about "Angel and Demon" and how one kills his inner demon with the touch of a little angel girl. They become angels to each other. Yes every human has an angel and demon in us.. What matters most is to which one we give the upper hand in our life.. It's the choice between the angel and demon with in us that we decide to choose. PS: Pihu, your character is the soul of this book and since this is based on a true story it really made me cry a lot !
Human mind works in such a way that it can make you seem like an angel one time and a devil at another time.
A girl to remember is one such book that portrays the life of Pihu, an innocent girl who awaits an angelic appearance to make things right in her life.
Neel on the other hand is a teacher at one of the reputed institutions in Pune. Due to his strange actions he losses job and his accommodation at the hostel is at stake.
Pihu who is kind of obsessed with Neel, that she offers accommodation. Neel gets to know Annu( Pihu’s mom) in this situation and he immediately makes a plan. He tries to trap Annu through PIhu to get hold of the property owned by her. He uses Pihu as the trump card. But Pihu continues to see him as the angel or the savior for whom she’s been waiting for long. Annu also is aware of Neel’s activities and his past record.
But what makes both of them agree to let Neel stay? What was the incident that costed Neel his job? Why is he doing all this is the rest of the story.
The three main characters- Neel, Pihu and Annu are portrayed very well. Neel is shown as a demon whose desire is only money and fantasizes women. He would use any person as an opportunity to get what he wants.
Pihu is an innocent and immature teenager. Annu who lost her husband at young age, has overcome a lot of difficulties with strong perseveration and has a determined attitude.
The style of writing is simple and lucid. Love, confession, responsibilities, realizations are all notable elements in this plot. The twists are unimaginable and are brought out in a way that makes the book a quick page turner.
A Girl To Remember by Ajay K Pandey is a story of Pihu an innocent, emotional and mysterious girl who is waiting for an angel to come to her life and make her life beautiful. She is obsessed with her maths class teacher Neel who is the most selfish person. He is obsessed with his own body desires and doesn't care about anyone else's feelings. For him only two things are important in life - Money and his fantasies about women. And that's why he got attracted to Annu, pihu's mother. She is beautiful, charming, confident and caring widow. For her her daughter's smile is the key of her happiness.
This one is the story with lots of shades and emotions. Dark shades of Neel makes you feel that he is that devil of the society who can be dangerous to people around but still you can't hate him. All the characters have got their own importance and potrayed very well. Neel's mother - one of the balanced character who knows the evil side of his son still selflessly she supports him in all aspects of his life ( but that is how all mothers are). Neel's brother Nikhil - one large hearted loving character. Aarav - Neel's only good friend who is always there for him in all thick and thins. Few of the scenes described so well that a reader can actually feel the emotions of the characters. And the best part of the book is it's climax. Confession is the best punishment and that is the best messageed conveyed with such an ease.
Book cover is so beautiful and lively. Title of the book is apt for the plot and can't be better than this. Language is easy and narration is crisp that one can finish a book in go.
So is this a triangle love story? Why Pihu is so obsessed with Neel? Why Annu allowed Neel to stay at her place even though she knows about Neel's bad image? Did she also get attracted to Neel? Why Neel's brother broke all his relationship with him? What is that one incident happened that transformed the Neel from Demon to Angel? Why Neel who used to hate pihu for her immaturity started loving her unconditionally? what was that one confession that Neel made? and last but not the least what was that matured move of Pihu that made her " A girl to remember" ? Read this amazing story to go through the different shades of emotions!! You nailed it Ajay K Pandey!!
Book Name: A Girl To Remember Author Name: Ajay K Pandey Format: Paperback No of Pages: 209 Publisher: Srishti Publishers & Distributors (1st Ed. - 28/09/2018) Blurb: The blurb portion of the book is written perfectly highlighting the storyline and core of the plot. It is capable enough to make the reader curious about the story. Cover: The front cover of the book is not only eye catching, but it depicts the perpetual significance of the story quite well. This is enough for a reader to pick this book up on the first place. So, a much appreciable work done by Saurav Das, I can say. Title: The title of the story is catchy and thought provoking indeed. It is aptly justifying the substance of this book. Only the title is enough to flip the pages of the book. Hence I consider this appropriate. Language & narration: Language is lucid and simple enough to comprehend. I should say that I found the language actually polishing because there are some places where, I have seen some classic and potentially rich words to ornament the sentences. The formation of the sentence is authentic. Simple flowing narrating style without any exaggeration and vividly descriptive narration is the 2nd most positive strength of this book. Story is in 1st person narrative and easy to connect for the reader. Plot: The plot of the book is I should say an experimental unique one from the author. The content and mostly, the message he wants to convey to the reader by this story, needs not only a compact plot with basic firm foundation in the story line, but it needs guts also. As I have read his previous works, I can say that it was completely out of his comfort zone, and that’s why crafting this sensitive plot (and sequential sub plot) was more challenging and distinctive. A neatly developed story from a perfectly woven plot I must say. Setting: Setting of the story is basically in Pune; but Delhi, Goa & Mumbai will also be covered according to the story. Characterization: Portrayal of the characters (each and every character) is extremely cleared, prominent and evidently shaded. Whether it is the protagonist or not, but the way the author sketched different sides of the same character in various way, demands a round of applause. I think that it is another reason that made the book a pleasant read. I was visualizing the interactions between the characters. Every character is justified to their respective roles till the end. Let’s get familiar with the names of the character mentioned in the book- Neel Kumar, Pihu, Annu, Aarav, Ananya, Dr. Vedant, Ms Meetu, Nikhil Kumar, Neha, Mangesh Parkhi. Theme: Inspirational, Relationship, Life, Family. Story in a nutshell: The story revolves around the lives of these three people- Neel Kumar, his student Pihu & Pihu’s mother Annu. Let’s get into the story- Neel Kumar was a Math teacher of a posh urban private coeducation school in Pune. Keeping aside this professional side of him, there’s lot more of his characteristics to be mentioned. He was a person, who can easily be tagged as ‘the bad guy’ or ‘the Demon in the society; reason you want? Well, he was self centered, literally emotionless, didn’t value anyone’s feelings and didn’t even care for or bother about his ‘family’, ever… A perfect opportunist he was who could ‘use’ anyone as his stepping stone to reach his ‘goal’. But, on the top of everything, he was the slave of his ‘needs’ or ‘desires’. For him, carnal pleasures did matter the most and he used to consider girls as a ‘thing’ to satisfy his ‘bodily sex cravings’. To feed the starving ‘Demon’ inside him, he didn’t even care about any relationship, whether it is inside or outside of the family- so this is what Neel was! After pouncing upon a ‘critical scandalous issue’ (apparently) with his student Ananya, Neel was asked to leave the school staff quarters and eventually, following that, he resigned from his job as well (he didn’t have any options though). In this state of turmoil, when Neel lost all his hope, right then, out of nowhere, Pihu crossed his path and came to his rescue by offering him to stay at her house as a tenant. Pihu was a 17 years old girl of the same school. She was innocent, pure hearted, immature girl with childish behavior. She was not good at studies either. But the most important thing was, Neel was favorite teacher! Though there was no practical reason to be specific (till a point), but Pihu was obsessed with Neel, in every way. Pihu tried to help Neel in every possible way with her limitations. Eventually, Neel got to know Pihu closely and bumped into Annu, who was, Pihu’s mother (and of course the landlady of Neel). Annu was 11 years older than Neel, a Widow, an independent woman working as a nurse for her livelihood. Annu had charming personality with gorgeous looks and modest attitude with admirable behavior. After losing her husband, life made her face many sides of struggle, but her strong determination helped her overcome everything. After seeing the property Annu was the owner of (and of course her attractive beauty was the another prior reason), Neel made a full proof plan to honey trap Annu to become the owner of that property, in a shortcut way. Though Neel didn’t have anything to do with Pihu or Annu’s emotions, or feelings or whatever their situation was, but to win Annu, Neel started using Pihu as his stepping stone. Neel was least interest and rather irritated about Pihu’s blind obsession for him. But Pihu was one of a kind. Though both of them (Pihu & Annu) knew everything about Neel from the beginning, still they had no problems with Neel to stay with them or his involvement in the family. Pihu had the firm belief that Neel was the ‘Angel’ she was searching for; Neel had come to set everything right! What happened after that? What was the actual incident that led Neel to jobless? Why Pihu was so obsessed with Neel despite of knowing everything about him? What was the reason the Annu allowed him to stay and offer him additional helps when she already knew his previous ‘records’? What was the reason that Pihu considered Neel as her Angel? Was there any specific reason? Will Neel be successful to the plan he following? Will Neel ever be able to return from the path he had chosen for himself to walk on? Will Pihu’s belief create any miracle? To get these answers and to know what made whom a girl to remember, grab your copy of this book now and dive in. My Verdict: Author Ajay K Pandey has created magic through the words in explaining each phase and different sides of the characters in this story. With the sparkling of sarcastic humor, author has presented the entire book in such a pleasurable way that one can never be able to expect what is coming. The evil side of Neel, and his realization, the transformation, the self conscience, the innocence of Pihu, the struggle of Annu, the genuine friendship of Aarav, the selfless love of a Mother, the greatness and love of Nikhil for his brother, the childish nature of Pihu, the firm and strong personality of Annu, her helplessness, the pain, the loneliness, the compromise, and lastly the change; each and every emotion, everything is portrayed here elegantly in every page of the book. The conversation between Neel and his mother touched my heart. The journey clearly portrays other will ‘think’ of you exactly what you ‘make’ them think. You behavior is the bearer of your image and your mentality is the mirror of your heart. Everybody has a demon and an angel inside them and both are starving. It depends on you whom you feed more, and you’ll become that. Love of family is the biggest blessing of God, because there are many unfortunate ones, who don’t know what does this word ‘Family’ mean, so if you have yours, the do consider yourself fortunate and do value and respect them. Nobody of us is beyond of sexual desires, but how we much control we have in ourselves, differentiate humans from animals. Never be the puppet of your own ‘need’. After all, even animals have some ‘humanity’ left inside them… A Woman is not just a piece of meat and flesh, she is much more beyond what we think her to be. So treat them with respect and behave with them the way they deserve to get. Last but not the least….when your soul suffers from suffocation, you are in guilt. And guilt burns the impurities of oneself. It makes us confront our mind, and thus gives birth of a confession. And of course….confession is the biggest punishment… This book will surely change the mentality of persons whomsoever falls in or out of this category. I completely loved reading this masterpiece and I lived every single bit of it. Some particular moments left me in tears where some made me laugh as well. Overall, this is the book..I definitely gonna remember… Recommendation: I’d definitely love to recommend this extremely touching & significantly inspirational book to each and every avid reader. This book is not just a story to live, but the valuable lesson of life to learn, which is applicable for anyone. Don’t miss the chance to explore the new side of inner self and it certainly is….a book to remember…… Thank you. Rating (Overall): 5/5 Stars.

It’s truly a joy to read his books. I am deeply moved.
Powerful and poignant, ‘A girl to remember’ captures the magic of faith and affection of a sweet and innocent child. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. Faith, so powerful, transforms a demon into an angel. In every angel a demon hides, and in every demon, an angel strides, but it is truly our choices that define us, on which side we chose to act on.
The book is beautiful, real and heartfelt reminder that, as long as there is hope and faith; there is life and there is always an opportunity for betterment. And sometimes we need a reminder that love in any form is worth fighting for!
Found this one when I was looking for reading something light and Romantic which I’m usually more interested in. Google suggested me to go for it among many other suggestions, I took this one. It was a casual read, with emotional touch which worked more in the third part of the story. Recommended if yo want to read something light and entertaining to some extent.
P.S : the Angels and Demons revelation story really worked in the end.
I have read two books by him till now and the author has won my heart by his stories as he gives every character to say for themselves which I liked the most and I am becoming a fan of him day by day.
This book gives a very good message "A woman is far more than just a body".
The last few chapters of the book took my heart with his emotions, the pure love of a daughter who found a father and a man found his angel and himself.
The book has many shades of life sadness and the happiness which also made me the companion to feel what the book was telling.
I am in love with characters, the author has created with such a beautiful story.
The language is lucid and narration is smooth and If you haven't read this book so far then you are missing something in your life. Reader's must read this book you will love it.
Glimpse in a blink

He is sacked from his job and now he is homeless and try to find a home but didn't find one and after some time a girl comes to him and offers him a place to live and he couldn't say no as he got the place to live.

To know more about this heart touching go grab the book and start reading.
Attractive Book Cover which makes the readers curious to know what the story is all about.
Unique story based on a true event in Pune. The author takes the readers on an emotional roller coaster journey.
Brilliantly written.
The basic message is “Confession is the best punishment” and “Never surrender”.
I have read all his books and each of his books has an inspiring message derived from real-life experiences. Along with the emotional journey of the story, we get awareness of the diseases and the effects. The medical terms discussed are in simple language. His love for nature is revealed to readers. He creates interesting characters that you invest in emotionally. He has a good sense of humor. I loved the comparisons of a huge chain in brokers neck to the one we tie for a suitcase in trains, waiting to know about the rent to the result of the big boss and describing an emotional moment with Karan Johar movie.
This is Neel’s story and how hard it really was for him to hear the voice of his heart. All the credit goes to an unusual girl – a girl to remember.
Author takes us on a tremendous journey of Life through Fear, Pain, Humanity, Love, Rumors, Confession, Friendship, Luck, Hope, Love Triangle, Family, Courage, Loneliness, Responsibility, Unconditional Love, Being a single parent, Faith, Disappointments, Secrets, Lust, Trust, Beliefs, Realisations, Struggles, Memories and Chances.
The teachers and students behavior in School, the upbringing of children by parents, what goes through in the minds of a teenager and comparison of living in posh and normal society has been analyzed and well put.
A lot of unsolvable questions arises in our minds and the mystery unfolds beautifully. Touching moments in the chapters which will leave you in tears.
I loved the separate chapters of Neel’s Mom, friend Aarav, and Annu, which tells about each person’s characteristics and allows us to get the better view from both sides.
Some of the extract from the book which I liked and thought-provoking:
I spent my entire childhood wishing I were older, and now that I was, I was thinking what I had become. I often wished I could be a child again so I could grow up once again and be whoever I wanted to be.
The more you want a thing, the greater the force with which the universe drives it away.
‘A woman is a mother, a sister, a friend, a daughter to someone. You can understand these relationships better when you become a father or a husband. A relationship is the mother of all feelings. You will realize that she is not just a body, she is much more than that.’
Great achievements always start with small sacrifices.
Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools and accepted by idiots.
Time passes, but some things never change.
Never undermine the presence of a friend who has always been there for you.
When we own our mind, we talk sense; when something else owns it, we talk about useless things.
Loneliness is the biggest enemy a person can have.
A mother’s silence is the loudest scream.
Memories are a gift and a curse.
No exam is tougher than the exam one has to face in life.
Simplicity does have its own beauty.
A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions.
Author’s masterpiece in writing such a heart-touching story.
It was an awesome book. Initially, I thought why I chose this book while reading Neel's character, but after going through the book I was flooded with emotions and tears. Ajay K Pandey has nailed it!
The book has portrayed each character’s various sides prominently and is a pleasant read. Every character is justified to their respective roles till the end. I would definitely recommend this book.
The title and blurb of the book is indeed intriguing and evoking the interest of the reader to dwell more into the story. When I first read it, it ringed my curiosity as to what would be the plot, knowing that there was introduction of dark side to it, unlike other stories by Ajay sir.
So the story revolves around Pihu, a teenager, Neel, a young, charming and handsome man and Annu, a female near her late thirties, who also happens to be Pihu's mother. The details about how the three are related and how or what changes occur with passing time in each of their lives remains the veiled mystery till you read it. So I want to write about other crispy sides of the story. Besides the main characters, what appealed me a lot are those characters that might influence and mark some solid prints on the Reader's mind to take away after reading.
Aarav, Neel's colleague cum friend who, although shares common interests with Neel in areas forbidden to discuss generally, recognises his bad side, yet decides to give him his share of chance for wiping out the black tar in his mind about women. Thus he sets a beautiful example of a true friend who would give us numerous chances to become better individuals.
Neel's mother, a mother with a heart of gold and mind of steel that, perhaps, recognises the crook motives that feed her son's morals, yet stands by her son with immense love and support when the rest of the family gives up on him. Thus it ideally shows us to be a pillar to our loved ones and help them through their challanging times, when mostly they are unaware themselves what's it that sucks their goodness.
Nikhil, Aarav's brother, an illustration of forgiveness and large heartedness. Someone that we can look upto, a person with tremendous care for his family, no matter how brutally he is hurt or betrayed, not letting the negativity get in between the bond of relationships.
We all are amalgamation of good and bad. We can only search for that one reason or person who will draw out from us, the goodness we are born with. That's what Ajay Sir puts up so brilliantly. A perfect recipe of mixture of emotions..will leave your eyes welled up as you close the final chapter.

Thank you @srishtipub for sending over the review copy :) .
They say every human has two sides to them. Angel and Demon. While the good side of us stops us from doing anything irresponsible, the dark side tries to succumb to temptations. This book is the story of how a man is a slave of his body. Will he be able to redeem his bad deeds? . .
Neel is a Mathematics teacher in a posh high-school who has a terrible weakness. His demon lurked within the corners of his heart and leaps out when he spots beautiful women. His good looks and charming personality only adds fuel to get his job done. When Neel is kicked out of school for having flirted with his student, he suddenly finds him homeless and devastated. . .
He turns lucky when a student he doesn’t know ,Pihu, offers him a rented house at a very cheap rent. Pihu, who is always chirpy and bubbly appears to be in love with Neel. . .
While Neel is attracted to Pihu’s mom, unsolved questions swim around in his head. Why was luck suddenly in his favour and what was the secret behind Pihu being an isolated child. Being a cold hearted person himself, Neel fails to have a connection with his own family. He’s selfish, brutal and also utterly pervert in his actions. - Will Pihu change his outlook towards life? Or will he choose to be the same stone hearted guy like he always was? . .
This book was a simple read with raw and honest ideas of an adult. The sexual desires that the protagonist feels in this book has been transparent and there’s a no nonsense kind of feel around the entire book. . .
Though I did find a few sentences being repeated more often, the story is captivating and quite different from what I’ve read. The characters are well written and executed. . .
I would rate this book 3.5/5.

A Girl To Remember by Ajay K Pandey In starting only I would like to say this book is very close to my heart. perfect page turning book I've read till the date. a perfect roller coaster for every reader who will pick this and yes you can't stop yourself by turning the page because of the curiosity. Characterization and Narration matters for every book and Ajay Sir succeed to express what he wanted to share with his story in this book. Pihu a teenager girl who is totally different from other kids those who were studying in her class. Pihu offered Neel to live in her house on rent. as Neel was kicked out from the staff quarter just because of some stupidity but Neel was one of that type of guy whos thinking towards the girl is very bad. Still, Pihu saw something good in Neel about which Neel wasn't aware She saw an angel in Neel. Neel also had ruined his relationship with his elder brother just because of Neel and his Sister in law had done something which is not the right thing. Pihu was showering love on Neel but he hates that love. and he felt attraction towards Pihu's mother (well Deccsribed by the Author). Pihu was suffering from one dangerous disease and Neel got to know about this from Annu, & day by day His connection with Pihu and Annu (Pihu's mother) grown up. at some point, I cried as well because this book touches the soul of the reader. and after reading this book I can say In every angel a demon hides, And in every demon, an angel. what happens next? to know read this amazing book by Ajay K Pandey (Personally Recommended)
I received this book from the publisher just in time to bring to you an honest pre-release review.
At the onset I would say, I have read the author's all works so far and have seen the growth in his writing style and content.
A Girl to Remember is a memorable recount of an innocent girl who believes nobody is a bad person and all inherently have good in them. The right reasons in life are required for that person to bring out the better side.
As the story begins you discover Neel dealing with troubles that have cropped up due to his own weakness. He receives unexpected help from Pihu and comes across Annu - a woman 11 years older to Neel.
The evil demon in Neel makes him come up with a dark plot but his plans are thwarted by the helpless, timid, Pihu whose intentions are a puzzle for Neel.
As this puzzle pushes you to keep turning the pages you discover new facets of each characters life, especially you get an insight into Neel and the anecdotes from his childhood make you realize he could be anyone among us.
The main characters in the book are markedly different from all that we have seen from the author so far. The negative shades of Neel made me little apprehensive in the beginning but finally the journey justified it all.
Intriguing read, wherein with every turn of page, new strings pulled me deeper into the narration and the characters' lives kept me glued to the book.
Definitely a keeper. Ajay Kumar Pandey shells out as real as it gets!

A GIRL TO REMEMBER by AJAY K PANDEY ❤️ IT'S A MUST READ "A women is a mother, a sister, a friend or a daughter to someone. You can understand these relationships better when you become a father or a husband. A relationship is the mother of all the feelings. You will realise... she is not just a body; she is much more than that". When I read these lines at the very starting of the novel I thought that the novel might be about a girl being mistreated by a guy or her family etc etc. just by reading these lines I made alot of assumptions about the story but as I read through each and every chapter my assumptions were proved wrong.
It's such a beautiful story with such a beautiful and important message being conveyed so simply yet in the right manner. We all have different desires in life but what matters is understanding where to put a halt to them and not becoming their slave and turn into demons and put our relationship at stake.
This is a story of such a guy Neel who is a self proclaimed demon and a slave to his desires who saw women as just a body. I loved the way Peehu taught Neel that the women are not just a body they are human beings too. Confession is the best punishment.
I would say it was a emotional rollercoaster for me at some places I felt like punching Neel in the gut while at some I was crying for Peehu. Wish Peehu had not died she was just a kid🥺

This is the first book which I read of Ajay K Pandey. But I bought his first two years (You are the best wife, Her last wish) a year back. Suddenly I got some urge to read this instead of other two. Okay. Let me write my view about this book. I have started this book with so much expectation because I have heard really good reviews about you are the best wife. That's the reason for my expectation on this one. But after completed the book, I found the plot of this book seemed very filmy (Yes. The author himself mentioned that through his character) and the twists were predictable. There are so many repetitive sentences for the same situations. Like, whenever his door got knocked, Neel used to say, by the tone of knock I knew it was Annu or Pihu. Those repetitive sentences made me to felt bored to read the lines. Despite all these negative things, definitely this book was a page turner and the narration made the book easy read. I loved Neel's mother version which was moving and I loved the last confession part.
By seeing the title 'A girl to remeber', I decided to keep it in my list. Finally I have used my weekend to finish it off. The best part of the book, how built up the story, gave equal importance to each characters by confessing their words. The story started with a bachelor of today's generation and his wish, his vision, his perception about his sorrounding. He described his opinion shamelessly and story moved ahead as soon as new characters came in the plot. Like a Bollywood movie, the interval came when the Neel came across with Pihu, even after that also the story was stretched as expected. But it took a turn when Neel felt that he was not stoned man, he has heart who wish to have a family who cries for someone. "There lives an angel And there is a demon'. Eventually he transformed from 'demon' to 'angel'. This book is marinated with 'affection of mother' , 'a fun loving Friend' , 'a lady who suppressed her emotions because of circumstances', 'A sensible brother' . Overall I have loved the book and would recommend others to read. ✴️Rating: 3/5
The title and cover looks attractive and goes well with the story. The story is narrated very well that a reader feels connected to the story more than just reading I would say I lived through the story.
No human is born bad it's the circumstances and situations that tags us as good or bad. Sometimes we deliberately choose the wrong path due to our greed and some are made the victims of their situation.
But when one wants to seek redemption they are drenched in their own guilt and that confession is the biggest punishment.
Well here Neel the male protagonist is the same in whom one discovers the demon but what makes him to seek redemption is described with genuine emotions that makes the read gripping and interesting.
This story will reassure your faith in humanity and strengthen the belief that love does move mountains.
